Seem a very popular food joint which specialises in non veg dishes. Portions are small so one can try multiple items here. Biriyanis seem preferred by the locals. One can also try chicken stuffed dosas which I found great in taste. Priced moderately as per Delhi standards but May seem pricey for locals . Anyways, A must visit place in Salem.

We took non-veg meals, biryani, mutton sukka and liver pepper fry. Biryani, mutton curry and mutton sukka were very good, loved it. One of our friends recommended it and we went with high expectations. Thankfully, we were not disappointed. The restaurant is very well maintained, washrooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.

Firstly service is good and I appreciate the management for handling the crowd so patiently. They serve less than 10 minutes. The taste is good and the prices are reasonable. On weekends it will be crowded and still manageable, good parking and a well maintained washroom. Biriyani, Briyani rice, tandoori, mutton sukka are recommended dishes to try.

The restaurant is famous for its non veg options and taste and it never disappoints me. Good for takeaway and dine in. They have their own parking spots. Above all I love the fact that they serve food on banana leaf. Highly recommend this place .. 😋

Super tasty mutton biryani, very tender pieces, good quantity, non spicy Fish fry was also very tasty Mutton sukka was very fresh, meat was tender and very tasty Chicken natti -country chicken was a bit chewy, but fresh and tasty Tables were clean Cleaning staff was all ladies and they were all very efficient

Yummy and worth trying each and every food. My favourite was mutton biriyani and prawn fry, and rest was also equally good.

Had Curry Dosai, Kalakki and a Parotta. All tasted fantastic. Initially, the waiter took a while to attend my table, but once he took the orders, the items came in no time and were piping hot. The staff were courteous. The wash area and rest rooms are clean. Ample parking available. But the persons in charge of parking can do better job. When cars are entering and exiting at the same time, it creates a botttleneck.

Place was suggested by our dear friend Tariq. We were 5 and stopped here for lunch Ordered mutton biriyani for all with nalli & bheja fry. Boy we have ordered a second serving of muttin biriyani for all and that's how good it was. Nalli was too good with right spice levels and with loads of flavors Bheja was tasting fresh and great as well. Super fast service, helpful staffs, clean & hygienic place to be. Highly recommended.

Superb Mutton chukka, kaima and kadambam. Not expensive. Crowded. Parking inside can be bit of an issue during peak hours, but roadside parking is available.

Awesome food. Hospitality is top notch. Huge parking place. I had late lunch at 4.15. most of the items i wanted to try were over but nevertheless whatever was available took me by suprise. Mutton biryani is awesome. Dont miss that.

Visiting Salem for the first time and tried the famous selvi mess for lunch. Dishes tasted good as if the masalas were cooked in an authentic way. But the meat in biriyani felt chewy as they were over cooked Items are bit over priced ... Worth trying once

We ordered mutton biriyani and chicken lollipop!! The taste of mutton biriyani is awesome and the quantity is also okay. The lollipop is okay with only 4 pieces given. The only thing is we need to wait 15 to 30 min.because so much of the crowd!!! Overall good!!

We went to the veg restaurant of selvi mess . It was evening and we stopped for a coffee. Had hot bajjis, and tea and coffee . It was good . While travelling from Bangalore may be a good choice in the outskirts of Salem to have veg or non veg breakfast lunch or dinner. And also selvi mess is a popular non veg restaurant chain in Salem . And they have kept totally veg and non veg separate hotels nearby so that all can enjoy the food.

Separate Restaurants for Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food items are available in the same campus. Both the restaurants are neat and clean. Staff are courteous. Quality of food is also good.
