Last night I took my son to be checked by the PM staff without an appointment. They told us that we had to wait 3 hours and i decided to stay. Once the time for us to came check in, the front desk lady (not a doctor) decided that my son didn't look to bad (my son had at the time 39.5C fever) and told us that we needed to wait for at least 2 more hours. Who is she to evaluate a sick kid and decide who goes first or who is sick enough to be checked by a doctor??She was very rude and lied to us about the waiting time, zero empathy and zero professionalism. I wish i could give 0 stars.

Brought my 20 month old in for rapid breathing and retractions. Front desk staff, MAs, and the physician were amazing. Genuinely concerns. Gave nebulizer treatments in the office. Motrin and steroids in the office. Checked on us and didn't release us until my son was safe to go home and be managed at home. Gave me a nebulizer to take home and be charged to my insurance. I will certainly go back if we ever needed after hours help.

It's been 24 hours since my kid 's virus test, and I do not know the result of this simple and quick test. Because of fever I sent my kid to this Urgent Care, and the pediatrian collected my kid's sample for covid/flu/rsv test. We did the same test in Westmed, and the results came back super quick. I was told we will receive the reulsts in this morning however, no results available at all. Then I was told it will be ready in 24 hours, however no results at all. Then I was told it will be ready in 24-48 hours. And, I was told The sample was sent to the third party for testing. Anyway, it is not an urgent care.

I came there because my son needed stitches, I wasn’t instructed to make an appointment to have them removed I was told to walk in. Big mistake! When we arrived, I was told about an hour wait by this front desk girl who is young and terribly inexperienced. The one that everyone in the comment section is complaining about! After I complained about the 1 1/2 hours I’ve waited, with the amount of people still being put in front of my son. I was told I had to pay the urgent care co pay again, I said I will not, get me your manager and she said she’s in the front and that I can’t see the Dr unless I put a credit card on file, is this nut crazy? She then threatens to call the authorities on me because I was being rude and condescending? What an idiot, she’s going to have me arrested because I asked for her manager? Are you kidding me? Well I guess she figured out she was about to get in trouble because I wasn’t loud, I didn’t raise my voice, I didn’t use expletives, nor did I follow her stupid instructions to hand over my credit card for her possible disposal, yeah that’s a no, so she finally called over the doctor who was an absolute doll and took the stitches out in 5 1/2 seconds and explained the extended wait was due to only 1 doctor and I added the Inadequate front staffing. And before you think this was a race issue, it’s not, we’re both the same race, it is just a case of false sense of authority and entitlement from the front desk staff and she FAAFO that that she had the right one today! DISGUSTING customer service! GREAT DOCTORS and WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER and I work for a doctor for 20 years, so I know how to handle and diffuse situations, and there nothing worse than an angry injured worker (WC) than a mother with a sick or hurt child! Fire her already she’s hurting your ratings and business model, your business is kids, but stop hiring them to run your multi million dollar business!

Rarely do I post a review unless something really stands out, either positive or negative. In this case, it is NEGATIVE. I will NEVER visit or recommend anyone visit this PM pediatrics ever. My toddler had a fever at daycare and his ear looked red, so we made and appointment and went to PM Pediatrics in Mamaroneck to confirm that it was an ear infection and get him the necessary medication. They confirmed that he had a low grade ear infection and that we should wait 48 hours before starting the antibiotics, so we brought him home and kept an eye on him as instructed. He still had the fever so we were cycling Motrin and Tylenol all night and the next day and obviously kept him home from daycare. The next afternoon, less than 24 hours later, his fever was at 103, so we figured since PM sent the Pharmacy the prescription anyway, we’d go fill it and start him on antibiotics to be safe. When I went to our CVS, they had no record so we called PM. They told us to wait til the 48 hour mark and bring him back to re-evaluate him. In another hour(around 24 hours after PM visit), he had a febrile seizure and we found him unresponsive on the floor and called 911. The police and EMS arrived and took over. He was non responsive for 8-10 min in the ambulance before coming to and being taken to the hospital. Thank God he got the treatment he needed from the First Responders and at the Hospital. Also, Thank God we were both home and he was around us and we found him in time, but it should NEVER have come to that since he was seen by the staff at PM pediatrics and we called an hour before everything went from bad to worst day ever. Again, we will NEVER trust them with our children or recommend anyone else to go there. I don’t care about rating them, bc I don’t believe they even deserve any stars at all. I just want to put this out there as a WARNING for the sakes of others and their children. The same people that are supposed to help our child, neglected him and put him in a VERY dangerous situation. No child or parent should have to go thru this experience ever. Please BEWARE!!

I made an appointment online, called the office to confirm some insurance details, and the doctor saw my son the same day. She listened well, explained things thoroughly so I could understand, and had great bedside manner with my two year old. I’m grateful to have this office so close to us for emergencies.

The staff was amazing. Even after we left they assisted me with issues I had at the pharmacy. We are truly grateful, their kindness did not go unnoticed. Thank you

My negative experience has to he with the front desk and lack of communication between the call center and front desk. The doctors and nurses are great. Lisa at the front desk is amazing too however there is another girl who is extremely rude, lacks compassion for kids and seems bothered when patients talk to her. My daughter had a really high fever for a few days. I called ahead to make sure we could walk in. I was told i was talking to the call center but that they had checked with the front desk and walk ins were welcome. I drove in the cold and took my feverish very sick child late at night just to be told that they were not taking walk ins and didnt care if i spoke to someone at the call center. Why have a number then? The way we were were treated was despicable too. They told is we could make an appointment but we wouldn't be seen until 24 hrs later. What is the point of this being an urgent care then.

As a DNP who used their services I found the whole experience unimpressive. We waited over one hour when the attending arrived she barely took a history ( never inquire any vomiting, diarrhea, outside travel? ) I mean the basics - I follow the guidelines as an NP and luckily I know what supportive care means but there was no discharge summary with recommendations? What if that parent isn’t familiar with the correct dosing of fever reducers etc- you don’t assume. Where is a print out with a diagnosis findings and anticipatory guidance/ supportive care ie sinusitis treatment and when to return. Who’s runs this place? Then they wonder why the NPs are so well liked by patients because we actually give proper care. My poor son so sick for over 72 hours and febrile x 24?hours w viral versus bacterial infection and he received sub par care. Nice doc but way to like ok thanks for coming by and next. Told me we don’t do covid test because insurance company won’t do on and on about that. Always about money with them. Try I’m not telling you to do it. You should do one only if you have a high index of suspicion not tell me to get it an antigen test at CVS. Poor all around. What a disgrace taking money from insurance companies or self pay and this is the standard of care being offered. Next time I’ll bring him to minute clinic way better or his pediatrician - I could not. Additionally when I asked for a note for school the secretary looked annoyed and stated well you should have asked the MD. Does the MD not know a 6 yr old is in school and requires a note stating to return when fever free x 24 hours and without cough or active infectious symptoms. When I see this I want to open my own practice and administer care the way it should be administered, responsibly, with guidance and follow up instructions and prescriptions when clinically appropriate .

Rude person working at the reception. Completely disorganized sign in system for walk ins where I had to scan a QR code which was not loading. I was then told by the staff at the reception that it worked with the wifi and when I asked which one, I was told they were busy and was not provided with an answer. When I finally figured out which one it was with the help of another parent, it would not connect and load the sign in page. Then the rude person at the reception allowed about five persons behind me to sign in before I could and when I raised concerns about losing my place in line she responded to me with a rude and condescending remark. Totally unacceptable. This comment is however directed at one person working at the reception and not the entire reception staff. Lisa who was there when I went back for our appointment was very kind, professional and understanding.

Completely OUTRAGED with billing department!! Doctors and medical staff have been great and kind the few times we have visited. But the back office/billing department is ridiculous. They are constantly billing my insurance incorrectly resulting in an incorrect co-pay. When I received a bill months after my daughter’s appointment, I called to dispute. Was told things were still in process and too ignore the bill, that a new bill will be sent when done processing. Never received it. Returned a call recently find out they sent me to COLLECTIONS! And only within 2 of months of receiving a bill and while i am under the impression this is being reviewed and FIXED!?! My insurance company said that they CONSTANTLY have billing issues with this company. I am livid because i have always paid my co-pays (having to fight mistakes) as we have visited numerous times and multiple times after DOS in question. I am sick of fighting with them to correct billing, and extremely upset with this company.

This urgent care used to be good but the front staff are like robots. They denied seeing so many kids due to their new appointment policy. If it's an urgent care, the situation with the families must be urgent but the denial was ridiculous. My son and I waited in the lobby for over an hour waiting for a cancellation, people hardly showed up and couldn't even being seen as a walk in. I strongly recommend your company update you FAQ on your website to match your office policies and having a front office person who actually knows how to deal with parents with sick kids.
