On the recommendation of a local, I visited Poblanos on a Wednesday night. It was busy but the bar had one open seat left and I snatched it. The bartender was super busy but I never had to wait for anything. I ordered the house margarita and despite being pre made it was very good. The salsa and chips were fresh. I ordered the chicken fajitas and it was decent. Good food and great service gives this place a thumbs up!

WOW!!! Best Mexican restaurant we have been to since moving to Bradenton. Incredible flavor in every bite of each entree. Good chips and salsa 😋. The service was exceptional 👌. Everything was delicious. This is definitely our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

We’ve lived 6 minutes from this restaurant for 4 years. Wish we’d come here much sooner! We were a party of 4 adults on a Monday night, 6-ish. We had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The staff was great, the margaritas and red sangria were delicious, and the food was amazing! Probably the best chips and salsa I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the white queso dip, burritos grandes, and Poblanos lime chicken dinners. The portions were very generous and everything was on point. We will definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant. The staff is friendly and the portions are huge! We all had margaritas(they make them strong)! Don't forget to ask your server for the flavors they have because they have a variety. We tried mango and strawberry! The salsa and chips are delicious. We also had queso it was a little runny for my taste but it is still delicious. We noticed a big difference between warm queso and the cooled off queso.. So if they bring it out and it is not warm ask them to warm it up, they will happily do that. My sister wanted something not on the menu and they accommodated her and made a custom meal. I would absolutely return when I visit this area of Florida again in the summer.

We had a great dinner at Poblanos. Fajitas were great; and the grande Burito was huge!

A definate must visit for lunch or dinner. If you live close or not and have not been to Poblanos, you're missing out on a great authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. Food always comes to the table quickly.

We were a large group because of a birthday party. Even though the restaurant was filled, our service was very impressive. She stayed on top of chips on the table and drinks, getting refilled. The food came out quickly and was very fresh. The portions are great, and they have a lot to choose from on the menu. All eight of us had a wonderful time. I like the fact that they sell gift cards. I buy several year as gifts. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Great food, great service and great experience. Menu not too big or too small with a great assortment of starters, mains and desserts. An awesome selection of Margaritas to get you going. Portions are great, prices reasonable for the area.

The dessert was the best part of the meal. Had the banana burrito with vanilla ice and it was delicious. The margarita especial with patron was also good.

Very nice place inside and staff is friendly and attentive. Street taco plate was good, meat tasted great along with some grilled vegetables and rice. Really enjoyed it here! Nice relaxing late lunch

Tasty Mexican restaurant with a great menu that's loaded with a lot of wonderful options. I chose a chicken mole which was the best I've ever had, my husband with a carne asada and it was fabulous. The citrus margarita is made with fresh orange juice and lime. It is so light and flavorful without all the sugar. Highly recommend stopping here. You won't be disappointed. We will be back

The parking lot was full which made us afraid that we wouldn't get a table. We were seated right away, yeah! Our waiter was great, and so were the drinks and food. I enjoyed a mango margarita and fajitas. Yum.

This restaurant is the best. The food was amazing, I am talking about every dish we ate was spectacular. The price is very reasonable for everybody. Not too expensive no too cheap. The servers are very attentive. I will recommend this place.

Fully packed steak burrito THAT WAS SEASONED. If you enjoy bland Mexican food, there are at least four other places you can visit in the area. Sangria is a family recipe. Look at the size of that glass.... Excellent salsa. If you leave hungry, you have a tapeworm.

I do love Mexican food and Poblanos is up there with better than average creativity, taste and presentation. I know of a few places better, but they are not in this area. Be careful when ordering beer tho. We were very unpleasantly surprised on our last trip there to find that a large beer was more costly than the entree. Still, their food is certainly above average for the area and prices are reasonable.

Let me jump right into this review. Upon walking in, the greeter was very curt with us and led us to our table really fast. Yes, it was lunchtime, but the restaurant wasn't really that busy. She was also our waitress, and we felt rushed to get our order in. Definitely not friendly or welcoming. The margarita was served in a beer mug. Margarita in a beer mug??? The flavor of it was ok because how can you mess up a margarita mix. Next was the food. Beef fajitas plate and a chicken burrito plate with a beef taco. The fajitas were hot but not sizzling hot like I would have expected. The chicken burrito and beef taco had so much salt that I couldn't even finish them. I'm just getting started in food reviews, but I've eaten at a lot of really good Mexican restaurants, and unfortunately, this one was at the bottom of my list.

This restaurant is very well run. They have five people at the host stand to greet people. The service is very efficient and friendly. The place is clean and decorated appropriately. It is a Mexican restaurant so the menu has a variety of preparations for the same handful of ingredients. The chips and salsa were on the bland side but the food was hot and fresh.

We visited this place for the first time. The experience was excellent, it is a good place to go with the whole family, the atmosphere was pleasant, the music had an ideal volume, the food was very tasty and our hostess was Esmeralda, super friendly, cordial and attentive. We are looking forward to coming back.

Margaritas and Pico are really good! The other stuff we ordered was really dry and not even hot. I had to take a sip of my drink because I couldn't swallow the food. Friendly staff. Not sure why this place is so busy all the time. Maybe the margaritas?

Very good Mexican, we had the Burritos, one beef and one chicken, the regular salsa was just OK, but the homemade hot salsa was excellent, give them a try. I also had a side of fresh Jalapeños . Very good.

I’ve been going here for years since I was younger. It used to be a lot better. But it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Always busy, but the service is good. They have good tacos. I go the fajitas this time with half chicken & half steak and could barely make one taco with the meat so I was very disappointed in lack of meat, there was an enormous amount of onions and veggies and it didn’t come with a salad, just a side of rice and beans. Salsa kind of taste like tomato sauce, but the queso was good.
