Very low effort service. The man at the shop kept turning his back to me and doing something else when I asked for help about what my warranty covered on my damaged watch. He didn't say hello or goodbye or sorry about the problem and just walked away afterwards. I won't be buying anything from here again.

Cannot recommended Harris enough (sorry if this isn’t your name) helpful, friendly and easy going from the off. Had a good laugh with him and made the buying process very easy. Visited yesterday with my partner after we had an issue with an online purchase we had. The worker Taylor helped us out with this issue. Everything was fixed within the space of 15 minutes. We got a new watch issue free and they adjusted and fitted the item to size. Highly impressed and I’d definitely visit again as the customer service was 10/10

Really good earrings that are also affordable (you only pay for the earrings, not the piercing or saline solution) and also provide you with instructions on how to take care of them & saline solution to protect from infection. Staff are lovely as well and really helpful, especially Laura, who did my piercing. Deffo recommend:))

Olivia and Mark has the best customer service!! Honestly it makes the biggest difference!! My husband and I met 3 years ago and 3 months of dating later he decided to propose. He told me he went to all the shops in arndale but they didn’t make him comfortable because they didn’t make the time for it… H.Samuel was the next shop he went to and he decided very quickly to buy me the engagement ring I have today, they listened and considered in his place….this is so important I cannot emphasise Please if you have a special someone or you just want to make yourself feel special that day, this is the one.

I've got my ears pierced by the lovely Laura tody. She explained everything really well and the procedure itself. The pain was very minimal and she pierced it in the right place. Great customer service. Really pleased.

We are visitors from Hong Kong. We stay in Manchester for 1 night. When we shop around Arndale center, we saw your poster outside the store. There are quiet a lots of clients in our outlet. I was looking for a birthday gift for myself in the shape of a chronograph watch. Laura was so helpful as were the other assistants. The model I had seen in another shop Ernest Jones was out of stock, but I saw another Seiko similar and in the "Couture" range, Laura showed it to me and helped me towards a decision. Her customer service was excellent and if I can't find the definitive watch I'll be back to her and she'll have a deal.

I got some excellent customer support, and I received some truly fantastic help too! Taylor was an immense help, she was truly fantastic and I can't thank her enough! My other half bought me a lovely, dainty engagement ring from another branch of H Samuel in December. After 9 months it suddenly got completely misshapen. It was only worn at weekends when not at work. After taking it back to the original store and being treated in very disgusting manner, we both went to the Manchester store . From the lady at the back , to the lady on the shop floor and the manager , between the 3 of them, they were wonderful, helpful, polite, understanding and just lovely so aa massive well done to all of you and I hope that this is read by head office and you are all appreciated by them for your dedication and fantastic customer service. I look forward to receiving my new ring next week.

My son went in here with some gift vouchers he recieved as a gift. Went in there not thinking he would get anything as he only had £40. He came out with a lovely silver watch which he loves. Clean shop and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit for a bargain buy.

Sami was so friendly and helpful as soon as I came into the shop. I honestly love it when an employee will actually chat to you and it really put me at ease, especially as I was looking probably the most important piece of jewellery I’ll ever own! They were so helpful while I was picking out my wedding ring. Tia also briefly helped us when Sami asked for clarification of some details on the white gold repair package. Oliver then finalised the sale of my wedding ring and my engagement ring repair - unfortunately, I was unable to access the full repair package as it is currently unavailable for 14k gold - and I had a really good chat with them as well. Honestly, it was a lovely experience all in all and everyone in store was so helpful and friendly. I went to H.Samuel because I remember my mum bought me my first pair of gold sleeper earrings when I was 9 and Sami, Oliver and Tia have really helped maintain the positive associations I’ve had with H. Samuel for practically my whole life. I will be returning for all my jewellery repairs and any special purchases I should make in the future. Not to labour the point, but I hope Sami, Oliver and Tia see this review as well, know how grateful I am for such a pleasant shopping experience, and head office get them a nice treat they deserve!

Ghastly experience - 2 chaps (staff) chilling in own casual clothing, hard to tell who actually works there. Unhelpful, poor attitude - no wonder British retail stores suffer and discerning customers go elsewhere. Monday morning they all seem hungover and don’t wish to be there. Chavvery at its worst!

Popped in on the of chance as my daughter wanted her ears pierced, we was pleasantly surprised to learn h smauel actually offered that service and at half the price compared to the popular ear piercing go to (Claire’s). The customer service received from Laura was absolutely amazing whilst waiting I got chatting with James what a charming wonderful young man (we need more James in the world) Thank you for amazing service and making my daughter a very happy person.
