A beautiful, enigmatic, and important memorial to those who were killed and injured in the terrorist bombing in the nearby Manchester Arena in 2017. It's designed as an open city space, with a ring of marble memorial stones and paths and planting amongst them. A place to come and remember, a place to come and reflect, or a place to come for a simple few moments of peace in the bustle of the busy city. Open 24 hours, adjacent to the cathedral, all on one level and easily accessible for all.

Beautiful tribute. One problem though. Visited on a wet Saturday and the whole inner part of the memorial was covered in about three inches of rainwater. Some form of drainage needed.

Beautiful garden and outdoor seating area situated right next to the Manchester cathedral. Such a shame its necessary but the space is peaceful and relaxing, despite being in the middle of a city centre and I think it really honours the memory of the people who died in the attack x

A thoughtful place, sits well in its surroundings

It is a fitting memorial to the victims of a terrorist bomber in the city centre in 2017. The memorial itself features fllat marble stones, each bearing the name of one of the victims, in a circle. Around them plants and shrubs have been planted, and a few benches for people to sit and reflect, or just relax. It should be a peaceful haven. Unfortunately, some visitors show no respect whatsoever to the memorial and to those who tragically lost their lives. I've seen people lounging on the memorial stones, or eating something. On one occasion I saw a child watched by his father, running along the stones. When I remonstrated with him, he said his son was counting them! However, mostly it is a peaceful haven.

This Memorial Park is near to the Cathedral and is a memorial to those who lost their lives in the Manchester bombing. It is quiet and peaceful and also sad that 22 people went to a concert and never came back.

What a beautiful spot.I hope many will find a feeling of peace here.

Beautiful and peaceful, just a pity the gardens aren't tended better, absolutely full of weeds, this needs sorting
