Incredible Vegan Chinese food. I hadn’t managed to find a vegan chow mein that was the same taste as what I used to get before going vegan 6 years ago… until trying their special chow mein. Oh my god, it was so so good. The smell, taste, texture of the ‘chicken’ especially. Very very good, and a nice big portion so suitable for the price too. The chicken and sweetcorn soup is also amazing, as is the special curry, and the wontons. Absolutely must try if you’re vegan and miss the Chinese food you used to eat. I will absolutely eat this again when I’m next in Manchester!

Best Chinese food I've had - vegan or otherwise. Generous portions and everything tasted so fresh. We got mini spring rolls, orange chicken, tofu udon noodles and tofu chow mein (with rice noodles), and we cannot wait to order again to try more dishes. Had a hard time finding the location, but I am new to this set up for a restaurant. If you go to the door in the picture, go right up the stairs and turn right, you can pick up your food at number 12.

Oh my god, if you are a vegan and in Manchester this is an absolute MUST. I’ve been craving a Chinese takeaway for years and finding a completely vegan restaurant felt like hitting the jackpot. The food was hot, fresh and tasted incredible and the portion sizes were great too… totally had cold Chinese takeaway for breakfast like the fancy lady that I am :D

I think this is delivery take away only. Address is in an industrial estate and no signs for Vegan Green Kitchen, so I couldn't find it but maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Anyways I ordered via Uber Eats and got it delivered to the hotel I'm staying at. The food was amazing. It's been so long since I've had Chinese as many vegan options just don't cut it but this place is perfect on all levels. I will definitely be ordering again.

We have ordered through Ubee Eats a number of times and we were thrilled to find a dedicated Vegan Chinese within delivery distance. Tge first couple of times we ordered tge food was fine except the fake beef pieces had fake gristle in them as well! However we gave them the benefit of the doubt as overall it was good. However with the last few orders things have taken a turn for the worse with the special noodle dishes i enjoy repeadly tasting burnt. I switched to rice noodles with the next order but although this solved the burnt taste the downside was that there was hardly anything else in the 'special' noodles. I only found 2 pieces of meat in the whole meal! I foolishly decided to try again aa my youngest likes the tofu rice (hard to get such a simple dish wrong!) and so with the order i made today i decided to try something else and tried the iWok special Tofu. I have to say that it was the worst Chinese meal i have ever tasted with the Tofu tasting literally of detergent. I could not stomach this. I will not be taking any further chances with them.. such a shame. They need to just change the cook i am afraid. I think all the good reviews here must have gone to they're heads and they took they're eye off the ball. I have never felt compelled to write a review before but the repeated poor quality for what is for us a expensive treat as vegans needs highlighting with a hope that improvement will follow.

The food here is fantastic. It is a little expensive, but each dish can be paired with a side for a discounted price. The fake meat was fantastic. Duck in plum sauce and satay chicken were both serious winners! The chow mein could have done with a bit more flavour to it. Order direct from the website, it's cheaper there. Will be returning soon!

Update: We ordered once again and were over the moon. Tried different dishes like wonton, chicken drumsticks and veg noodles. Now it’s definitely my favourite vegan restaurant. The quantity and quality of food is great. My husband normally enjoys meat but with these vegan dishes, he was very impressed by how these taste. It’s a must if you are looking for new vegan options. First review: We ordered vegan special noodles which included all kinds of vegan meat alternatives. We were very surprised by how good it tasted. I will definitely order again from this place and definitely recommend it.

Their braised aubergine is excellent, love this place, ordered a lot of times, always perfect! They also gave us free spring rolls this time. Lovely couple running this place, must have!

Absolutely fantastic to have a fully vegan Chinese restaurant for delivery in Manchester. The taste is as good or better than any Chinese food I've ever had in the UK. And an excellent broad selection of options. Wish you guys every success for a long time into the future!

I dream about this place. My list of 🫦🤌 Vegan House Special Combo Vegan Chicken in Garlic Sauce (insane) Vegan Chicken Lemon Sauce Vegan Chicken Kung Po I don’t remember anything disappointing me. so disappointed after ordering in the past and this being amazing. ordered delivery again and the chips were solid and obviously over microwaved. same with the chick’n, soldi and burnt and too chewy with no taste

Really poor customer services. Something was wrong with my order but unfortunately I couldn't reach the restaurant by phone, text or social media to rectify the situation. The restaurant said I collected my order when I hadn't! Food was at best mediocre, and in my opinion not deserving of the glowing reviews you see online. Unless you want to be disappointed, I suggest you avoid.

Awesome food! Had the duck in plum sauce, sweet & sour chicken, fried rice, broccoli in garlic. All vegan and all amazing!

Good food, arrived quickly. Satay was too on the sweet side, very small portion of seaweed in the starter selection, though great job on the fake meat; the chicken, lamb and crispy duck are very good.

Tried for the first time. Best takeaway ever! The mock meat is really lovely, everything we had was super tasty, and the preparation/delivery was quick. Good range on the menu, too. Expensive but worth it. Defo the new go-to for us now.

some of the worst take out food ive ever had. I couldnt finish any of it. extremely overcooked / burnt. tofu was like eating a block of rock hard toenails. never again. look at the photo provided hahaha The chips were absolutely horrendous as well. It always amazes me how places can do take out food, and not even know how to cook chips properly. Literally one of the most common things that people buy... You can tell zero care is put into the preparation of this food, and with no quality control or quality checks what so ever. No idea how this place has any good reviews, people must have dangerously low standards. Not looking forward to going to the toilet tomorrow. can already feel my stomach turning. Ignore the other comments, save your money i beg you. There was no zero star option.

I'm visiting Manchester and I've found this lovely restaurant on Uber eats, while I was looking for something vegetarian or vegan and I'm so glad I did! It's amazing! I wish I lived here just for this amazing restaurant!!
