Great Thai food at a reasonable price. As with previous reviews I am surprised that this place is not packed out as we were able to get a walk in on a busy Sunday! Service is speedy and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

As a Thai, I could say this restaurant is a kind of the most authentic Thai foods in UK. Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow made us like I'm sitting in Thailand. The must for everyone to try!

Walked past it thousand times but never tried until recently. What a gem. The chefs are Thai which will set the tones for the dishes which have that vibe and authentic zing you don't usually find in fake takeaways. Bill was reasonable and the dishes were superb. Got a last minute table and yet was welcomed to sit down and eat till I could. Lovely waitress.

Not authentic Thai restaurant. Only for someone who love British flavor. Everything (including curry and Tom Yum soup) is super sweet and terrible to eat. The soup has a strange flavor and they put fried tofu into it. I doubt whether it is yesterday’s leftover. We are so disappointed. The worst Thai I have ever tried in Manchester. I won’t go to here anymore.

i went here with my friend today, we received a very warm welcome from our Waitress Katie who was great the whole time we were there. We ordered Yen ta fo noodles, Pork noodles, Glass noodles salad and Fried tofu, and I have to say the chefs were amazing because everything had a genuine Thai taste (I am Thai) and was really delicious, I will definitely return here again to try everything else on the menu !

Overall the staff was very friendly and it was a clean spot. I’ve not had a lot of luck finding good Thai food in the UK. The dis was very greasy and sweet and it looked like some of the vegetables weren’t fresh today maybe prepped yesterday as they weren’t crisp. Also one of the noodles was undercooked but the rest were good. For UK Thai food this is fine but not what I’m use to in the USA in terms of freshness and taste.

Absolutely brilliant. I honestly visit this restaurant at least once a week for my lunch (weekdays) and probably every other weekend with my partner. The food is fresh and delicious, and always served within 10-15 minutes max. The portion sizes are brilliant, the price is incredibly reasonable (two people can have starters, mains and drinks for around £30-35), and the servers are always willing to recommend dishes to try! Recommendation: Chang Mai Kow Soi (no.21) - the Thai curry sauce is unbelievable.

Went today for my birthday lunch. It's small, but gorgeous, great service. Immediately felt welcomed and friendly. The food was amazing and generously portioned. And so reasonably priced! Loved it, highly recommend.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. It’s independent, cozy, the food is no-nonsense amazing Thai food. Relaxed and casual vibe. (I have been many times, but this time I had the chicken and pumpkin curry, and would highly recommend!)

Cute place with pretty authentic Thai food. Som tam is super flavourful with fresh ingredients. Tom yum is on the sweeter side with cherry tomatoes in it. Which is quite different from what I’ve had in Thailand. Wish it was less sweet and more sour. But still flavourful enough I gobbled down the whole thing. The lady is also really friendly and nice.

We've been twice in two days, really lovely and authentic food and great service too ❤️ love the massaman curry ❤️

Great little place for a quick Thai bite on the way to a gig at the Arena. We got lucky and just beat the evening crowd. The food arrived quickly and was super tasty. I had the Massaman curry and often I'll ignore the potatoes but they were just as tasty as the chicken and sauce. The steamed pork dumplings were so good too.

It’s a cheap and nice Thai restaurant. Red curry with crispy chicken is only £12. They offer takeaway discount which is lower than £10 and is a really good bargain. Generous amount of chicken and we ordered a duck noodles, it has a coconut taste with lemongrass, duck is also very generous. Although it is a bit ‘white’, but overall still a good restaurant to visit if you want some good thai. Not to mention their staff is very nice and the Thai milk tea is also very nice

My favourite restaurant!! All the food is delicious, you can't go wrong choosing from the menu, and everyone who works there is so lovely, especially Katie who knows our favourite orders by now because we go so often!

We visited Afflecks while on holiday in Manchester and were looking for a different style of food on this particular day. Not wanting to walk too far, we lucked out and found MyThai. Short walk from Afflecks and conveniently located. Right away we were greeted with a big smile, quick service and an awesome table. The decor was really awesome with a cool mural and pictures that added to the atmosphere. We were traveling with 2 teenage boys that can be picky with their food choices at times and they found so many options that they wanted. The food came out very quick, the beer was cold. Perfect portions and probably some of the best tasting Thai food we have had! I highly recommend MyThai for delicious food, amazing service and all around value.

Delicious and authentic. My Thai is by far the best Thai food I’ve had in Manchester. The staff are so warm and welcoming and the atmosphere of the restaurant make you feel like you’ve travelled to Thailand. I couldn’t recommend this place more, I will always keep coming back to this beautiful place with the most wonderful food.

I love it here, my boyfriend always takes us here for dates as he’s from Thailand and the staff are always so friendly! Food is amazing and spicy too! :)))

Thai style fried fish cake is recommended, it taste really nice. However, some spices may be omitted because of the need to accommodate the tastes of the local people. After adding spicy green papaya salad, it is very close to the taste of Thailand.

Lovely small restaurant with welcoming friendly staff. Not a typical A class flavoured Thai, but the food was pleasant enough with good portions. Lots of chicken added with the veg not bulk up with lots of veg like some restaurants do.

Did not enjoy the food much but found the service friendly and welcoming. I ordered a pad thai and unfortunately was disappointed with the dish as it was overly sweet and the chicken had a strange aftertaste. It was my first meal in Manchester and was really expecting something more authentic tasting.

I visited My Thai with 2 friends on a Monday evening. On entering we was seen to our table very promtly and we instantly like the vibe and feel of the place. We all choose what we wanted off the menu. Unfortunately when ordering drinks the house ipa wasnt available so bottle of chang where choosen instead which at over £6 a bottle they wasnt ideal. The food was served vwry quickly and looked fantastic. We had some thai prawn crackers & chilli source which we loved and for my starters i had crispy tofu which was ok & the satay chicken which was very good. My main was ready straight away after we had finished our starters and we didnt even have to prompt for it to be served so great service. For my main i choose my favourite thai red chicken curry and i wasnt disappointed it was really really good 😋 👌 Overall we all rated our dining experience at the My Thai restaurant on Tib street Manchester and i already know ile be visiting again at some point to try more of the menu. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Didn't have the best experience :( But would like to give it another go! Nice customer service, but not the best food. Went for an early dinner on a weekday, very excited to try this place for the first time! We were the only table there, so we were served nicely. Both the drinks and the food arrived super quickly... but then I understood why :( 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙! They were all stuck together, a big ball of rice noodles haha It was a shame, because the tofu and veggies were super tasty. I found it odd, since it is not like they were busy or had many other customers to serve... there was just another couple who arrived before we left. Still, the place looks nice and I would like to visit again!

Beef Doo Dee. Good service, food served within 5 mins of being ordered. Could have done with a little more spice.
