One of Manchester’s best kept secrets, I reckon. It’s quaint but not so it’s claustrophobic, and at first I wondered where on Earth the band could possibly be playing. As you worm your way through to the back, you’re met with this wonderful room with a stage; a sight you wouldn’t expect as you walk through a pub. It makes for a very cool spot and I’ll definitely be back. Very good night put on by Fairplay—check their gigs out if you fancy a memorable night out!

Have been here a couple of times and really like it. The place looks absolutely beautiful and the drinks are great. It gets busy very quickly but it does have s nice atmosphere. More on the civilised rather than the rowdy side on a Saturday night.

Not been to Levenshulme for a while on a Friday night. The place was buzzing. Went to see the marvellous Flamin Groovies at the Tallyrand and was very impressed with both music and venue. The place has a fabulous 'used' feel; none of your bright lights and sharp edges here. This all feels comfortable and familiar immediately, like coming home. Friendly staff and a decent bar. What more do you need for a great night out? A music venue? Well, you're in luck as out back (so as not to disturb the other customers) there's a cosy place to listen to bands. Niiiiice.

Really cozy little spot with a good beer selection and buzzy ambience. Only stayed for one drink but would definitely go back.

Easily the best place to drink in Levenshulme. Love it. Some decent beer on tap. Comfy atmosphere. Nice staff. Better still - there's some really good musicians starting to play there now. Quality bar.
