Haven't been to the dentist in many years which resulted in a few issues. I have had the pleasure to work with all staff members and they all worked hard on helping my mouth be healthy again and regaining my confidence (I was even able to get fillers with Dr. Amer!). I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you to all of the Gentle Dental Elm St. staff.

Dr Thomas Norton is my new dentist and is so caring, gentle and thorough. He has already completed an exam, root canal, crown and night guard for my husband and my husband is scheduling a follow up appointment. He's actually going back, I can't tell you how amazing that is! He explains what needs to be done and why. I have a son with special health needs and Dr Thomas will be his dentist too! I am happy to recommend him.

I am trying to provide some feedback on my recent visit to a Gentle Dental. Due to anxiety issues I needed to have an extraction and fillings so the dentist said it would be better to do them on the same day. I arrive and have the extraction and the 1st dentist is talking about the next procedure and needing to Novocain the area when he is done. This is as the procedure is ending. Then I hear the other dentist does not want to do my second procedure. No reason given. I have to further insist at the front desk as to why. The best answer I could get from a receptionist after asking the doctor was “it wasn’t in my best interest “. But they knew the situation going in and they scheduled them together. I took a day off work to have this done. And that was that. I was dismissed with a follow op for the extraction. No mention of refund for procedure not completed. No interaction/explanation from the dentist. Your Promise to Patients was not fulfilled. I did get a personalized experience I will never forget. Anxiety distress and worry and my oral care needs not met. A high quality of care. I did not get the care we contracted at the i of my visit. Dentists take pride in delivering, no. Didn’t see that. A focus on convenience was not met. It was scheduled as so, but it was delivered as a bait and switch It is not convenient to need to take more time away from my family and job. It is not convenient to have to find a new dentist get another initial consultation schedule a new appointment and wait through the stress and anxiety leading up to it again. And I did express this anxiety to the receptionist/office manager who upon arrival expressed empathy but not after paying and check out. So, I would appreciate a better understanding from you as to why this was my experience. Thank you!

This is by far one of the best dentists around they were so good from beginning to end extracting all my teeth to full dentures! Great dentist and they treat u great here to.

Great work! I got my teeth extracted in about hour and half, getting dentures on top and partial on bottom, been fitted for my dentures waiting for them to come in so I can have a great smile! 2 more wks and I'll have my teeth! Thanks gentle dental you have done great this far!

I had a wonderful visit here; they were extremely friendly and helpful. Even when I had an issue with my insurance the staff remained polite and aided the issue within minutes!

Where to start, I had to have 3 wisdom teeth extracted and I impacted with a cyst around it. I am like most people that dislike going to the dentist! Let me just tell you this, I had the best experience, I went in yesterday morning @8:00 signed a few papers and was taken back to the room. We chatted for a few, ( wish I could remember her name, she was so sweet and friendly, I felt I knew her for years) I had meet with the surgeon awhile back and he also put me at ease. I wanted to be sedated, because of my fear, the IV went in so easy, no discomfort, we chat for 5 seconds I was out. The next thing I remember was being in the wheel chair and getting into my car( obviously some one else drove). I have had no discomfort at all, my face is tender if you touch it but other than that NO pain!! This Gentle Dental is a class act for sure! I will refer everyone I know.

My visit to the dentist's office was nothing short of fantastic. The staff's warmth and efficiency immediately set a welcoming tone. My daughter hasn’t smiled in a few years, she recently made an appointment with Dr. Amer. Under his direction the staff helped me apply for financial assistance, which eased my worries and made my daughters new smile possible. Today she left the office a new person with her head held high and her confidence restored. Her smile was precious, so much so, I got my daughter back! I did not have an appointment because I cancelled it. Gentle Dental has no idea how to bill insurance companies appropriately. They also perform work that they say is covered by your insurance and then after the work is completed you get a bill saying it wasn’t covered. Be careful going to them.
