Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! We stayed for one night and wished it could have been longer; everyone at front desk was friendly and attentive (special shout out to Jess who made us feel instantly at home), our greyhound Captain was treated like royalty, the room was modern and airy with a great city view, and the location (straight out onto the bars and restaurants of First Street) was perfect for our short stay in Manchester. The included breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of veggie options for us and a tasty sausage or two for Captain!

I’ve been here in the UK for about a month, and this is the first time I love a hotel that much! The room is spacious, quiet and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is also great! Just 3 minutes’ walk from Deansgate Station and 8 from Oxford Street. There is also a great restaurant on the ground floor, and the main places I wanted to visit is nearby~! Thank you guys for making me feel at home in Manchester. Definitely will book again if I come back to this city in the future ~

Great hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. Handy location for accessing central Manchester / a quick escape after a meeting. Interesting layout of the bathroom, but the complimentary soft drinks in the mini fridge are a nice touch.

Lovely hotel (they really should sell the fragrance) clean and modern with an urban vibe. Discounted car parking. Italian restaurant - excellent food and wonderful staff. Would definitely recommend. Shortwalk to the Convention Centre

I had a massage here in June 2022 - absolutely awful. The lady didn’t really spend the time to really get the knots out and it felt like a very “newbie” massage - she wasn’t friendly either and the whole experience was pretty awkward - I was a bit nervous about it all and she didn’t put me at ease what so ever - plus it wasn’t made clear we could use the faculties before our spa time - I would not be going here in a hurry which is a shame as this was a birthday gift from my friends for me after having a hard time with having a baby through Covid . Very disappointed and did not feel good leaving it.

Superb hotel. Located in a new build area, and pretty Central for Manchester close to many bars and restaurants. The checkin desk tried to up sell us a bigger room so watch out for that tactic. The rooms are huge and highly quality, with robes, slippers, complimentary drinks. We went down to the bar for more complimentary items, but this time a snacking plate of olives, cheese and bread. The Restaurant in the hotel has my full compliments to the chef and the decor. We had lasagna and burger and it was all very good quality gourmet. Overall a better than expected experience and I would most definitely visit again.

BEST SHOWER EVER!!! I recently stopped in Manchester with my 10-year-old son for a couple of days to watch a Manchester City game, and I decided to give this place a try, as I had never stayed at a Melia before. Really, really nice hotel! Very modern, clean, well-designed room, super friendly staff, and a 10-minute walk from the center of the city. We had dinner at the restaurant right before heading out to Etihad Stadium, and the food was excellent as well. However, the most memorable thing was the shower in our room- the water stream from the top-mounted shower head was so strong, that it felt like you were in the middle of a warm rainstorm! It was like getting a hot-water massage! Overall, an excellent experience- I will absolutely stay here again next time when I am in Manchester!

Very clean modern hotel. Welcoming check in and a quick game of table football in the lounge before you leave. free cold drinks in the room as well as coffee and tea. Comfy beds and views of the Manchester people buzzing by.

Fantastic 4 days. On arrival, we were greeted by professional and very friendly staff. The fragrance of the reception area had a lovely welcome. Our room was amazing . Very comfortable and spacious. We were in a room on floor 10. It housed a huge bath with a separate shower room .Lots of storage ! We were very grateful for the great replenished mini bar. The room is perfect for a break or business. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with something for everyone. The outdoor restaurant area is amazing .You can enjoy dining or simply relaxing outdoors to enjoy a drink . We loved this area . It had a Mediterranean feel ! The location of the innside was perfect . Walking distance to the centre and the tram is 5 mins walk if walking is not for you . I can't praise this hotel enough. The Hotel Manager ,is doing a great job as he and his staff are very friendly, approachable and very professional . Keep up the good work, Innside .I highly recommend this Hotel. I intend to try other Melia Hotels as we were delighted with the I

Walkable from Deansgate Station or tram stop. Only used the conference facilities, which were average. Lunch buffet was awful very odd combinations of fillings in the wraps and sandwiches, and orange in the salad! No healthy options for the coffee break - only cakes and no fresh fruit.

Had a great stay. Lovely quiet room, great breakfast, very clean gym. Some much appreciated cold drinks in mini fridge. Had a meal in hotel, and think the waiter's name was Jamie - came across exceptional and dedicated at his role in hospitality

Great hotel with excellent food! Also, it is a great location to go see music close by as it is near several music venues and college town areas. Would definitely stay here again!!

We chose this hotel for our first night out after having our baby boy (7 months ago). We live in Manchester so just picked a location that we knew was there we wanted to go out, and what a decision is was to pick this hotel. We have stayed in some lovely hotels over the past 10 years or so and this was by far the cleanest we have ever stayed in. It’s really modern and fresh. The best location for where we like to drink (castlefield) and the rooms are very well designed. Staff are very friendly too and it only cost £104 for a Saturday night, which is insane for the quality of the hotel and the brilliant location. We parked in the Q park which is a 1 minute walk away and it only cost £18.50 for 24 hours! We will 100% use this hotel again if we stay over in town in the future. 10/10!

We had a standard room for one night and we were very impressed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was quite big, clean and tidy and well stocked. The free soft drinks in the room were very appreciated! Will definitely be booking again for our next stay in Manchester.

Bit of a walk across town, jump the tram if you have travel needs. Hotel is stunning. I was there for an event and it was really well appointed to. Food they served was fine and the event went off without a hitch.

Beautifully modern and clean rooms. Spacious enough for a couple staying a few nights. Beds are huge and fantastically comfortable. Pillows not too high but not too low! Staff all friendly and helpful, zero complaints. Location is brilliant on Deansgate and a 15 minute walk right into central Manchester.

Beautiful modern hotel situated in a great area. This hotel has everything and more. The staff and the atmosphere is lovely. The food is delicious. Great atmosphere floating around the bar and restaurant. I felt very comfortable. The facilities were great. The showers are so relaxing. Sadly the steam room was under maintenance. The hotel was very clean. The art work around the hotel is beautiful. Welcoming all. I would highly recommend. The only downfall was that there was no opening window in the room. The room did have a Air Conditioning system that offered both cold and heating options.

Clean, modern hotel situated near Oxford Street, but not too close to Manchester centre. Good breakfast, attentive staff and well stocked. Beds are on the firm side.

Was a great experience. Not anything fancy but just good! The good spots where on walking distance and it was close to the station. Rooms where fine, clean and the breakfast in the morning as well! The gym isn't that good for lifting weights, so just find a good gym near the hotel. Pure gym was a good one! Everything together not the best, but just good 👍🏽

Stayed here in August and was really impressed. The rate made me think it would be a budget hotel but the room quality and amenities were that of a full service hotel. The room was a decent size and very clean and comfortable, the location was fabulous and the staff were helpful. No onsite parking was the only drawback. Loved it.

Was there for the Louder than Words book festival. Good facilities for the event. Beautiful building and bar. A bit pricey for drinks but I suppose not too bad for the city centre but no cask ale unfortunately. Just outside the hotel is a statue to Friedrich Engels!

I’ve been several times to both the ground floor cafe/bar and restaurant, and to the first floor event space. Always exceptional services, great quality food and drink, and the location is just about perfect for a city centre location. The restaurant lunch time menu is excellent, perfect for lunch with your partner or on expenses with a client 😉 Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel. Big spacious rooms, high spec and clean. Great location, close to nice restaurants and pubs. It has a gym and sauna. Staying there again next time I'm in Manchester

Central location, friendly welcome. Nice room with all the necessary facilities. Nice evening meal on a 2 course special so good value. Great breakfast!

Great hotel. Great location. Staff on reception desk were polite and really helpful. The only reason I didn’t give 5* was due to the mini fridge in the room making a constant humming noise with no means to unplug it. It made it difficult to get to sleep!

Stayed here recently and it was a treat, from entering the staff were super helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the shower area is not separated by a wall, so imagine you'd have to be close to the person you're staying with! For me, this wasn't an issue but maybe for some. The gym was great, small but decent kit and the sauna and steam room a total treat too! The breakfast has loads of choice and again, staff very friendly. I would LOVE to go back soon. There is a mini art gallery on the first floor too and it is in a great location, close to Deansgate Station, Oxford Road and so much more.

Absolutely loved this hotel! On arrival we checked in with no problems at all and found out room in no time. The room was perfect, we had a huge bed, big TV and a rain shower. The only thing I would say is I wish all the staff had uniform as it was confusing who worked there and who didn't, but that's just a personal thing. Would definitely recommend 👍

Excellent hotel, easy parking in Q-Park with a good 25% off the parking fee. Substantial buffet style breakfast, very tasty. Overall excellent would definitely recommend especially if going to a concert.

Visited for a weekend in Manchester and a graduation ceremony. Very nice modern hotel with character. Friendly staff. Handy location for venues to the south of the city centre such as HOME and Bridgewater Hall. Several nearby restaurants, and only a 20-minute walk into the heart of the city. The restaurant and bar are also very good, serving a high-quality evening menu and a well-stocked breakfast buffet.

Really comfy bed and pillows. Shower is nice and powerful and all the staff are very friendly and accommodating but SILVIA is outstanding. She really goes the extra mile and saved me from a bit of a pickle. Thank you Silvia. You are awesome!

I'll start of by saying this is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Just a short walk to St Peters Square and then on into town. The staff were warm and friendly. The room was stunning as well. The reason for the 2-Star on the room is purely down the the mattress so please see the picture below. I'm not one to complain but I could of actually injured myself. Luckily it didn't brake the skin. It could of been so much worse. Question is how has this not been picked up sooner seeing as it doesn't look like it's just happened? Overall I'll 100% come back, was just a little disappointed by that one thing!

Stayed in the Townhouse 10th Floor with my wife for our anniversary. Very satisfied with everything. In room bar excellent. Cleanliness top notch. Staff were so friendly and helpful from check in to the restaurant staff. Even a free drink for our anniversary which was a lovely touch we didn't expect. Honestly the only thing I could find that wasn't superb was the TV reception but who is bothered about that on your anniversary :) would absolutely recommend and will stay again!

Perfect location with multi store parking two minutes away, modern and chic building, great function room available at the first floor. Can not comment on the rooms or services as didn't use them. Would recommend as function room facility

Great stay and classy from the exterior and main reception interior however rooms for guests are not worth the money. Upon checking in and making my way to my designated room in 9th floor, the bedroom wasn’t very clean. This made me question hygiene. Staff at reception was very kind, easy access to park around in area nearby hotel with a 30 second walk at Q-park. I don’t think I will return.

Well located near bars, restaurants and tram station connecting you to all points of interest Manchester has to offer. Everything else is walking distance. Hotel has a great atmosphere, the health suite was a major plus due to having a sauna and steam room after a long day shopping. Best of all, the staff made our stay. Special thanks to Claudia and Joe who went above and beyond to accommodate us! Recommend all day long!

Nice welcome, nice location, nice atmosphere. The room would've definitely been nice when it was new, but worn carpets and chipped surfaces let it down. The dying plant also didn't give off a good vibe. Unfortunately I can't recommend it over a Premier Inn based on the experience I had.

The stay was really good until they stole my brand new mobile charger. I don't know if it is the house keep individual fault or lazyness of the hotel management to check properly. I was dam sure i left my charger at the hotel. I came back in leaving other commitments 2-3 hours after check out and also came back the next day so that they have time to recheck but, in vain. Pest !

My new favourite hotel in Manchester! I stayed here with my partner last night for one night. The hotel is located in a great position for the side of town we needed, we checked in early evening and Vanessa was so smiley and kind with professional, welcoming front-of-house customer service. We took her recommendation to add breakfast and was pleasantly surprised, it was worth it. The room was perfect, so clean, beautifully designed and laid out, particularly impressed with the locally sourced independent merchandise at reception and brands in the hotel room fridge. Cannot praise the staff enough, everyone we spoke to was polite, chatty and kind. Will be recommending and coming back!

Staff very helpful and polite. Very comfortable room on the 6th floor. Bed large, comfortable and warm. Room quiet. Really central hotel to everything. Free soft drinks in the mini bar which is appreciated. Daily cleaning. Breakfast -good choice of hot and cold foods. Don't like the open bathroom but it's not a big deal.

Lovely hotel in a great location - 5 mins walk from Oxford Road station. Room was huge and comfortable. Awesome range of refreshments in the fridge. Different teas and coffees to choose from. Huge bathroom and lovely shower.

Great Hotel for really good price, close to main Manchester attractions. Comfy bed, big shower with great water pressure. There is also a small fridge with complementary drinks for their guests. I would highly recommend it!

Just a little note about Jessica Owen on the front desk to say how great she was at helping me with getting my clients suit finally couriered to his house after he’d left it at the hotel post-event. We had issues with the courier and Jessica made sure that the suit was securely packaged and safe at reception ready for the collection. She kept communication with me throughout and put my mind at rest that the suit would slowly but surely make its way to its home…and it did! Thanks for your efficient service Jess!

Lovely hotel and room, staff were really friendly and helpful and approachable! The coffee machine in the room was a very nice little addition! Gym was great for a hotel, small but had everything needed for a decent workout!

  • 4/5 Clair D. 11 months ago on Google
Wow amazing location. Great conference facilities Brilliant, modern and Staff really helpful. Only problem would be, when the room above the room we stayed in flushes the chain. You hear the water running. Kept my friend up. However, that in mind would still highly recommend this location and hotel for conferences and stays especially if you want to be close to Deans Gate

I have given this 5 star rating for those areas listed. My only complaint is that housekeeping did not keep to their rules about cleaning towels etc. We hung up the towels etc and yet we came back to new towels. We were only staying 2 nights and felt this was such a waste, both environmentally and money.
