An
overall
very
disappointing
experience
at
the
Piccadilly
Tavern
after
an
afternoon
visit
to
Manchester.
The
food
was
average
and
of
Wetherspoons
standard
as
was
the
whole
atmosphere.
The
main
thing
that
let
the
pub
down
was
the
terrible
attitude
of
the
young
bar
man
that
served
me,
he
was
most
unhelpful
and
rude.
My
advice
would
be
go
elsewhere
or
if
not
don’t
be
misled
by
signs
behind
the
bar
that
say
‘a
beer
and
burger
from
£8.25’
(note
the
word
from
-
as
was
pointed
out
to
me
when
my
bill
was
considerably
more)
or
if
ordering
a
Diet
Coke
request
a
smaller
size
in
advance
because
you
will
receive
a
pint
(and
charge
you
over
£3
for
the
privilege!)
In
addiction
make
sure
you
read
the
menu
thoroughly
before
ordering
as
the
staff
are
most
unhelpful,
make
a
note
of
your
table
number
which
you
can
hardly
see
on
the
menu
holders
or
you’ll
be
ordered
back
to
go
and
find
it
(and
then
when
you
can’t
the
bar
man
will
sarcastically
tell
you
it
himself!)
Overall
summary,
average
food
served
by
very
rude
and
obnoxious
staff.
