Gullivers: located on Oldham Road in the older part of Manchester City Centre, Northern Quarter., dates back to 1865. Originally a Wilson's house called The Albert Hotel, The Grenadier, then back to Gullivers when J.W. Lees bought it in the 1970's. Craft Beer, Cask Ales, Live Events.

Bobbed in to catch Zombie Zombie. Bar staff absolute legends, really cool, funny, helpful guys with great craic. Venue upstairs is cute, small, full of its own type of ambience. The lights are a great touch, feels very Victorian and looks classy. Great jukebox downstairs and the eclectic mix of punters says to me that this is a cool, welcoming place. We will be back!

Not what it used to be. Could not even get near the bar as too many people sat at it. But by no means a bad place. Try for yourself. Afternoons are a great time to visit. Comfy booths and good atmosphere and live bands on Saturday nights upstairs.

Lovely little pub in the Northern Quarter but for its size you wouldnt expect it to also have a stage for gigs, if you like smaller bands and indie music this is the place for it. Even though it is on the smaller side it just makes the events feel that bit more intimate.

It can be good as a live music venue although at times people talking are louder than the performer — as a pub, I see no appeal to it whatsoever to be honest — but back to it being a music venue, it’s not usually well organised but still better than my experiences at Gorilla

Decent pub just within the city centre of Manchester. Paid £5.50 for a pint. More than a ticket for the gig I went to.

Came to see a few bands last night, awesome live music from all of them! However not enough staff on the bar, one guy serving while another didn't do much, waited 10 minutes and even other people at the bar pointed out I'd been waiting the longest but I was completely ignored and eventually gave up. You'd think if you knew you had over 50 tickets booked for an event you'd put the staff on to serve them all. Didn't hang around for a drink because of the service, also needed to use the facilities but was told by other girls not to go in "because it's gross in there". Would see the bands again in a heartbeat but not sure I'd visit this pub again.

Great venue, and great sound in the concert room. Leroy retires soon, and is a gentleman host. Visit soon 🔜

Brilliant little boozer, with a fine beer and spirit selection. The main appeal of Gulliver's for me is the music which varies from old school punk to modern indie with all sorts of alternative fusions sprinkled in between.

The bands play upstairs over the pub (steep stairs to get there). Very good sound and atmosphere in an intimate setting. Drinks from the bar downstairs.

Absolutely lovely place and the staff at the bar are so friendly 💖 a great venue for smaller and intimate gigs too. I very much recommend Gullivers for pub goers and musicians alike 😁

Some blokes at the table behind me started an argument with two women by the bar. Then upstairs during a gig a group of lads who seemed to have been let in for free were talking really loudly. Seems the staff might need to keep an eye on the behaviour of the punters.

Great place to watch a gig. Sound system was awesome. Unfortunately, the toilets were horrible. Second visit to this pub. It was extremely busy. I would watch a gig here again, but the toilets definitely need a good clean

Comfortable pub"l large bar area with separate rooms at the back.Situated on Oldham At in Manchester city centre, Lees beers(local brewery). No food. Music upstairs.Friendly and helpful staff.

A pub that underwent a drastic transformation from a basic Manc pub. The decent Lees beers and proper pub atmosphere remain while the upstairs offers regular live music

Kind staff, friendly patrons, great little stage setups. Came down for Sarah Shook & The Disarmers and the venue was perfect for a good night of cowpunk and cider.

Great selection of local beers, reasonable prices. No need to wear "smart" clothes like in other bars nearby. Nice staff and good music. Eskerrik asko, Real Sociedad supporters.

Came for a gig, the venue is upstairs whilst the pub is downstairs. The pub was relaxed and friendly considering it was a Saturday night, and the gig was great, proper music in Manchester!

What a great pub with a nice, small room above for small gigs. Saw Seazoo there last week and they were brilliant. Pub has a great atmosphere and reasonably priced.

This is a good old 'proper' pub in Northern Quarter. Good selection of beers, plenty of seating and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Great NQ spot for local beer in a proper pub. Can be difficult to find a seat in the evenings, as it fills up quickly, but this is testament to it's quality.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
