Called in for a drink Saturday afternoon was a good vibe, nice bar and good selection of drinks. Went back the next morning for breakfast around 10:15am as website says it opens at 10am, place didn't look open for service but door was open. Asked the member of staff who was outside putting tables out what time they opened and she didn't really know said 10:30 to 10:45 usually? Went back at 10:30 stood and waited outside for 10 min, she saw us stood there made no effort to speak to us or at least to say not be long or come a sit inside etc. Nice menu on the door telling what you could order though, very helpful! Went elsewhere and was met with outstanding service.

Very bad food, too long waiting time and catastrophic service. The food was inedible and absolutely didn't taste good!! We left 6 portions there and no accommodation was shown.

Very poor sevice I ordered a drink which came in a dirty glass the tables and chairs outside are dirty inside the cafe area looks rundown and could do with a clean and fresh up with a lick of paint

Absolutely beautiful little bar with such a friendly team and is fantastic for an intimate show. The venue has a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks if you're driving (we were) and a great selection of spirits. The coffee is seriously good as well and we will definitely be back to here again.

Been going here since the 90's. I used to play here alot in various bands. Great venue, a Manchester legend. Not been for a few years went to watch David Ramirez other night surprised how quiet it was for someone as good as him. Love the newish decor..

This place was wicked when we popped in for some drinks. Very cool interior, nice crowd and reasonably priced (two single gin and tonics and a pint for £15ish). Jazz soundtrack was great.

Intimate venue at the heart of Manchesters music scene for over two decades now. Friendly staff, nice decor, bar prices arent too expensive, easily accessible from the centre of Manchester. It's quite a long narrow venue, so get there early if you want the best view. Also it can get warm in there so make sure your clothing will allow for that!

This place is just so cool!! Arty, friendly, quirky and extremely creative! if you love art and appreciate eclectic design you will love this place, a great atmosphere and staff are really nice too! 😎

What a fabulous night we had watching Young Gun Silver Fox but also catching up with people from the 60s outside and inside your lovely venue. We had a wonderful night. We'll be back 🎶

Fantastic venue, famous for its love music. Saw Eric Paslay here lady night, and he didn't disappoint. Great venue. Lost a star as, for some reason, they don't sell 0% alcohol. This is the first place I've been to in a long time that doesn't. N&D, sort this out, please!!

My first time in this fabulous building watching my workmates band! Absolutely bloody loved it! Lovely staff, funky building, just my kind of place!

I popped in on a whim looking for a coffee + honestly probably had the best Oat Vanilla Latte of my life. £3.30 too! Comfy seats outside under cover - lovely place to sit and watch the world go by 🌟

Went to BBC introducing. Bilk were and always will be incredible. Skaar was like a pop band I have heard before she was so impressive. Also listen to Jackson crisis for the love. Amazing. Incredible. Unmatchable

Overall quite a cool bar with a fun atmosphere. Feels very authentically Mancunian. Few disappointing aspects, the DJ didnt turn up and we werent very impressed with the espresso martinis - but we did get to meet Tony Wilson's Grandson! Would return and give it another go but probably wouldn't be in a huge rush to recommend.

Night & Day is always awesome. We first went to see Shovels &Rope I concert. It was the most awesome and intimate concert I could've imagined. Proper good vibes in Night & Day, attracts a lot of good folk too.

You always feel at home in the Night & Day . Over the years they have consistently recruited staff who are strong independently minded and attentive Their programming is immaculate. With artists of some stature with the cream of touring bands and enough space to accommodate those making their first tentative in this precarious business Over the years this formula has worked like a dream

Surprised that the place was relatively quiet on a beautiful Friday evening. DJ was good, dance floor was bare, tap selection was lager-heavy, staff was attentive, crowd seemed pretty chill, would like to see an actual gig in the admittedly very funky space.

Still awesome.... I haven't been in years and turned up on what I hoped wouldn't be a quiet Tuesday night. It wasn't 😁 They had a few new local acts on..... Such a lovely, lively, friendly and cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Can't fault it. LONG LIVE NIGHT AND DAY 👍

Great venue. You can see bands playing from the street which is pretty cool. Friendly bar staff. N+D lager is top drawer. We were there for the amazing Shape of Water celebrating the release of their album Amor Fati. Just a magic night!😎👍

I’m not a big fan of this place as a pub or as a music venue (when they put the prices of their beer up, and into plastics) — also, this is the only venue in Manchester where I have ever had vertigo due to their weird disco balls or whatever they were

The best venue in Manchester. Always has been, always will. Manchester's wholly adequate answer to Glasgow's King Tut's. And that is high praise.

Awesome independent venue, great food (esp. the brunch menu), great house lager, has a warm welcoming vibe which a lot of other venues with a more industrial feel are lacking - whenever I get brain fog about where to go for a drink, this place is my go-to. Manchester would be lost without it! Such a rich musical history and a place filled with special memories for Mancunians.

Not been here in a couple of years due to Covid. Saturday food not served until just after 2:30, which is a pity. Staff are lovely, atmosphere good and welcoming to dogs. Five stars if they'd had lunchtime food.

Went to a gig here recently, had a good time! Staff were nice and the venue is cool! Didn’t feel ripped off buying pints at a gig either which was nice! Gig was sold sold out, unsure of actual numbers but plenty of room to move around!

Very lively bar. One of Manchester’s oldest live music venues. Just popped in for coffee. An eclectic and interesting crowd.

Lovely vibes got a buzz about it. Would have been nice for some live music when it would be available.

Lovely atmosphere inside, nice to be back drinking indoors. Staff were helpful and polite and the toilets were clean. Definitely on the expensive side however with a pint around £5 so bear that one in mind. All in all I'd say the expense is worth it!
