Went for pub quiz night on Thursday, and arrived at half 5 to save a table for a quiz that starts at half 7. Waited for two hours, only to be told that the table we had sat on was reserved and that we had to move. No reservation sticker on the table like the others had. Member of staff was rude and told us to 'book a table like everyone else'. Mate, we waited since the pub was empty at half 5, you messed up by forgetting to reserve enough tables, not us. I'll add, we did not refuse to leave at all,merely calmly explained the situation. He then theatened to have us physically removed. Wont be going again and my group has gone every week for the last year. That's about 10 people buying drinks for 4 hours every Thursday that will be directed to a different pub.

Good place for a beer, again great beer selection which seams to be the same in all the pubs in Manchester. Had some major issues in the toilet as the smell of piss is so strong you stop breathing. Absolutely awful and is the reason for the 3 stars.

Luke has been a wonderful server and made my experience here so special.

I am an absolute regular at the flour and flagon and I have had a 10/10 experience every single time! The service here is impeccable and everyone who works here is always so lovely and caring. The food slaps and there weekday deals are always sensational!!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Manchester for the first time. Jess L is an absolutely amazing server, her pints are always top notch and the long islands she makes are second to none. Come here for an absolutely slay night out xx

Had a great night, Thursday quiz night. Honestly couldn’t hardly hear the questions, but we still did good, answering most of them. The reward for winning is £300, however I didn’t realise that means you must only win the bonus question to then be able to draw a key out of a bag and hope it unlocks the box of cash. Basically, winning the money is based on luck, not knowledge. Maybe I’m just a sore loser !! Still a very good night. Desperados are £2 for students. They do run out of alcohol by 10pm though, so watch out. Also, all the staff are hung over, karaoke was supposed to start at 9pm, it is now 10pm and nothings going on. The staff don’t care, and drinks are super expensive unless you get a deal/student discount.

Came in for a couple of drinks after work. Luke was amazing. Gave good drink suggestions and cracked some jokes with us. Served us with a smile and overall made our experience all the more enjoyable.

Absolutely incredible spot to grab some food and a cheeky bevvy before gigs. Or even not before gigs. Up to you. We were served by Luke who's got the best knowledge on the best drinks behind his bar, so helpful and incredibly charismatic. The grub was fandabidozy too. This place would get more than 5 stars if it were an option. You go glen coco.

Been here a few times but came yesterday with a group of friends and the atmosphere was brill as usual and staff were great and very attentive. Brandon especially was really welcoming and made us all feel so well looked after and was just all around amazing, really made our night!

Awesome place, especially the Thursday nights quizzioke. Been regulars for years and The DJ quiz master is one of the best around, such a great guy and makes us laugh everytime. The karaoke afterwards too is great and it gets so busy and popular it feels like your own gigs going on. Can't rate this night enough for anyone.

Me and some of my friends went here for the first time on Saturday. We met an absolutely lovely gentleman working there, his name was Brandon as I recall. Amazing service from him and honestly couldn't find better service anywhere else! Highly recommend coming here as was an amazing night overall but Brandon topped it!!! :)

The karaoke was amazing, I have asked some songs that was not in the list and he was happy to download the song and let me sing Infront of my friends. Quizmaster Flash he called himself was friendly and had a great laugh with me and my friends while his assistant Alex was cheering when I was singing songs when I was nervous, which I am very grateful for. Food was great as it was quick, and not expected it to be fast, sadly I couldn't take any images of the food because the food was so good 🙃, worth a visit for a cheap, friendly cheer environment.

I had a wonderful experience at the Flour and Flagon. The food arrived very quickly and Quiz Master Flash is super friendly and made great quizes on a Thursday night. I would highly recommend going on a Thursday night for the quiz and the karaoke.

Strongbow cider just gained a new fan. Got to this place around 3:30 on a Tuesday and it’s pretty empty, but that’s ok because we enjoyed the drink and relaxation.

Great bar with a great atmosphere! I was greeted by Tommy as I walked in and served in turn and within a few minutes. Tommy and I exchanged a few laughs which would definitely encourage me to return and bring more of my mates in next time. Highly recommend!

I often come here for food and end up staying for the beer. They have a good selection and keep it well. It gets busy in the evenings as it's a very popular pub for students. Food is decent portions and prices, and the puddings are tasty. Has a small outside seating area for smoking that fills up fast even when cold outside.

Great atmosphere and choice of ales. Also food is good quality and at a great price, especially on offers for 2 people. Quizzes are also top notch and you get a £40 bar tab if you win!

Came to manc for one night and had a quality night in this pub. Karaoke was on so of course I joined in. Chris was one of the bartenders that day and what a legend he is, made me night better.

Nice place, definitely more of a pub than nightclub as in the description. Was having a pleasant evening until I tried to return one of the two pints of Punk IPA I was served as it was cloudy and obviously the end of the barrel, barman was down right rude and obnoxious refusing to change it. I certainly wont be going back and would suggest trying somewhere else.

Been coming in for many years, decent pub, fair amount of screens for sport. Toilets aren’t the best & being charged £5.10 for a pint of Innis & Gun, probably the most expensive pint in Manchester, for a pub that isn’t in the centre, isn’t acceptable.

Great place.. Great atmosphere.. I got served by Rachel on the club night and she was very friendly... went back the next day and had some food. The chef (I think his name was Frankie) came out to talk me through allergens. The food was great and very tasty!

Burgers were good. Definitely will come back to try beer as well.

Cosy, classic pub with a reasonable menu. The burger I had could or had a better quality meat but I can't complain to much as the prices were quite reasonable. The variety of beer is as to be expected from a city centre pub.
