31/08/23: the beer tasted on the turn. It wasn't great. I had the Blackjack Brewery no. 21: Brew by Numbers pale ale 4% and Turning Point Brewery: Astral Voyage session NEIPA 3.4% (the Astral Voyage was ok) 21/08/23: Blackjack x Runaway Breweries: The Mangolorian mango sour with chilli & lime and Blackjack x Fell Breweries: Pub Piano pale ale 29/10/22: love it here. Such a great atmosphere and choice of craft ales! A Blackjack Brewery Taphouse

Brilliant little boozer which is never too busy, nice and quiet clientele and perfect for a pint away from the madness of the Northern Quarter. Cask ales are superb and often less than £4 👍🏼 And who said the NQ was expensive?

We stumbled upon this place quite randomly when it started raining outside, but we left very pleasantly surprised. Not only they offered large selection of traditional and craft beers, but they were also very friendly and attentive. What I appreciated a lot was how they focused on health and safety - there were multiple hand sanitizers here and there and the staff cleaned all the surfaces immediately after customers left.

Found by accident whilst our daughter was at Band on the Wall but so glad we did find it. Nice ambiance and great beer at good prices.

Great pub. Great cask. Friendly staff, but don't stand at the bar too long or you'll get told off 🤣

A really chilled out pub/bar, just a nice place to have a drink. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks on offer. Atmosphere during the day is incredibly relaxed, a good place to visit if you want a drink but don't want to go to a loud bar. Good music and good drinks on offer!

Great pub. Nice escape from the busy-ness of the city centre. Loads of craft options but wish they had a gluten-free option less than £7!

Superb Manchester city centre pub. Great range of its own Blackjack ales plus plenty of guest beers. Great selection of cider too. On this visit had a lovely pint of Irk Street Pale.

Classic old city pub brought up to date by Blackjack but keeping the traditional edge. Great range of cask & keg beers. Even better with the expansion of space, cosy and relaxed atmosphere.

A friendly pub in Manchester's Northern Quarter offering a good range of ales. Well located for Shudehill Interchange and the Band on the Wall music venue.

Good pub for socialising and serious drinking (without trouble!) They sell Beer from the local brewery and I have to say, it was a smooth creamy beer we tried - which was really nice. I think when I say 'serious drinkers pub', it specialises in real ale - for the connasiour (don't know if I've spelt that correctly 🤔) They do sell a lot more different bottled beers, wines and spirits. My only gripe if any was the decor seemed a bit plain but if we're there for a drink, the decor's not truly that important. Good Pub 😁

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel. The interior design is very hip and it has a great vibe. The music that is being played is modern. The curry was amazing. And the prices were perfect for...
