We had team Dinner at this place during our stay in Manchester..Huge & beautiful Ambiance. Amazing food & drinks and yummilicious desserts.

The 2 stars are gor the staff only and the breakfast. The evening meal was extremely over priced for the quality and quantity, cold food, minimal portions. Well done to the amazing staff

I came here a couple months ago with my other half and have been meaning to leave a review but kept forgetting! From start to finish we had such a wonderful experience. We’d booked a package with cloud 23 upstairs and ended up being quite late, despite this the kitchen stayed open for us - which we didn’t expect them to at all - and made the most wonderful food I’d ever tasted!! The flavours were absolutely wonderful. The service was also just brilliant, our waiter was called Richard (I think!) and he was so delightful and lovely, we really felt taken care of. Would absolutely recommend:)

Awful restaurant. Steak was very poor quality. Staff not very attentive and waiter smelt of body odour. Not a very good experience. Had to send steak back. Would not visit here again

As part of our anniversary celebrations my partner and I took a "Staycation" at the beautiful Hilton Deansgate Manchester Hotel including the Wine and Dine Package at the Podium. My partner is Italian.....and wouldn't you know so were the majority of the staff at the hotel. We were served by Marco who was fantastic throughout our meal and "customer journey", he was approachable, informed about the food and was generally great. The food was beautiful with good portion sizes, stunningly presented and felt elegant, luxurious and sophisticated. The flavours were well balanced, the presentation was visually tantalising and exciting. I would highly recommend for a very special dining experience.

Podium Restaurant at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester. The food is great, very tasty, and well-crafted. I had the rump steak in medium rare but the sides were not enough though. The amount is not that large but could do.

We stayed at the hotel and visited as a party of 7 for a meal in the podium restaurant, the staff were amazing but unfortunately the food let them down . it was expensive for what we had with an very limited menu and came cold and under cooked . I would recommend eating locally as there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance and a real shame. the staff gave us free deserts and wine which helped ease the disappointment.

Enjoyed an evening meal for 2 at Podium Restaurant on Tuesday, 24th October. We had the Scottish Venison loin and Cotswold Chicken, which were beautifully presented, and the taste and texture were sublime. The service was flawless and we were well looked after throughout our meal. We would recommend everyone sample the fine fining at Podium Restaurant at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester. Don't forget to order the sourdough bread with Lancashire Cheese custard which was a real culinary delight! 😋

We had an impeccable night dining at Podium. Throughly enjoyed the scrumptious food, spectacular view at kitchen@cloud23 and genial service! The 7-course dinner is dreamy and worth every penny! Menu changes every season. Wine paring is exceptional and truly professional. Would recommend anyone who is looking for a place to celebrate special occasions!

We booked a package that included 2 courses in Podium and a cocktail in Cloud 23. The food is delicious and not too overly expensive. The portion sizes are relatively small which does make you think are you really getting good value for money? Quality wise however can not be argued with, it was simply fantastic. Service was pretty average truthfully. We ate quite like (8:30pm) and the restaurant was very quiet by this time. There did seem to be plenty of staff but we did have to wait a while for drinks, etc, a couple of times. This is far from the end of the world but when the service charge is already added to the bill at the end it's not hard to work out why service can be average. I enjoyed it but this is dressed up as a high quality and it was certainly lacking in some areas.

We were celebrating an anniversary during the dining experience was evacuated twice, my husbands starter was tasteless, my steak was over cooked, we had to rush the meal because we were seeing a show in the hotel. We complained at the time and the supervisor took the service charge of the bill because of the evacuation but nothing for a rushed and awful food, we spent £36 on a bottle of wine that we rushed no discount, I left half of steak because it was dry and over cooked, my husbands starter had some hard bit's in it, complained, he complained because it had no taste and the supervisor did nothing. Looking at the website to make a complaint and very hard to find, spent £112 in total for a below average meal on a very special day, I did get sent a £10 gift voucher to be used at my next visit, thank you but after this experience I paid a large price for a below average meal, should have gone to McDonald's

The Podium Restaurant was lovely, I booked the 3 courses and a cocktail at cloud 23 for my father in laws birthday and it was amazing! The food was rich and delicate but so tasty, the service was perfectly on time as we had to be at cloud 23 for 10 o’clock, highly recommend the package for a special event!

Menu is short and hard to chose something you like as food is mixed like 3 things that won't mix very well. Steak was overcooked and the lack of profesionalism of the staff for Hilton Hotel is unbelivable. They don't even know the menu and has like 10 things in it. Prety hard to talk to the waitress as she wouldn't understand english (maybe italian or spanish)

Lovely evening with a colleague. Nice touch the sourdough with the creamy cheese before the starter. (You just can't stop eating it) Didn't like the texture of the starter (that pudding kinda feeling), but the chicken tasted nice and very soft. To the duck I would recommend more vegetables, the 2 cannelloni was way too much for me. Nicely cooked though, very much enjoyed it. Dessert, what can I say, you can't go wrong with chocolate! Overall very nice experience! Our waiter Richard was amazing. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, thank you for all the recommendations and explanations.

We had some meals here at Podium restaurant & bar. Restaurant 🥩- Hanger steak - Our favourite dish so far. The steak is very tender and juicy, not dry at all. Vegetables on the side are flavourful and you can taste the grill flavor with it. We got pretty full after finish the steak. Down part is, the quality of the hunger steak is kinda unstable. For few time the steak we had, it was a bit too raw, and the grill flavor wasn't there for the vegetables as well, the whole dish was plain and tasteless. We did end up ask for extra grill for the steak. 🦆 Duck Breast - it wasn't a very memorable dish, portion was kinda small compare to the price, won't recommend if you want a property meal that will make you full. 🥦- Cauliflower Katsu (v) - The cauliflower itself taste amazing, it's fried with thin layer of batter, and covered with some kind of sweet sauce, taste kinda like teriyaki sauce. It came with a bit kimchi, white raisin, some nuts (i think) and some kind of puffed rice sprinkle on the side. Nice option for vegetarian. Both bar & restaurant have the same dish. 🐦 Quale - Don't have the pic for it unfortunately, but I'd say it's not my dish. The portion was pretty small, and the quale, it had some kind of "wild" flavor that I didn't like, not sure if that's the right taste for it as it's my first time to try quale. Over all the quality of the dishes were over average for sure, atmosphere was good as well.

Was taken here for a birthday dinner by my best friends and really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. I’m not usually a steak fan however I really enjoyed my meal, I do wish they were a bit more generous with the side fries but all in all lovely food 😊 we had a deal for starter + main and also a bottle of wine which I think came to between 30-40£ per person

Really made special by Faith, thank you so much for your care and attention and thank you to Richard for his service. The food was lovely too.

Went for drinks to cool off after visiting the crystal maze experience. Staff are attentive and friendly. Plenty of seating available. Accepts contactless payments.

Had a Prossecco breakfast Groupon voucher so this was even better value. Great choice of food and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We loved our meals at Podium during a stay at the adjacent Hilton. Every course was well presented, flavoursome and cooked as expected. Waiters were attentive and polite, service was great on the whole. The restaurant itself has a classy but not pretentious feel in the evening, and a fresh, lively vibe during breakfast service.

Seared scallops starters followed by succulent salmon rounded up with sticky toffee pudding & a mocktail...absolutely delightful. I enjoyed my meal immensely, although my partner's trout meal was very delicate in comparison. However, glad it was a Groupon voucher experience as I don't think I could justify the full price as the scallops were tiny. The main course was enjoyable, I was pleasantly surprised by the salmon steak as most places overcook fish but not here.

Id say the food itself - quality relative to price would be 3 stars for me but brought up by the staff. The food itself isnt bad at all, really nice but given the range of options a stones throw away id recommend eating out of the hotel. I was under the weather and able to expense the meal hence my decision to dine in.
