Feel bad leaving this review , as the reception staff were so lovely to me . They were smiley , bubbly and just genuinely kind and friendly people who were just trying to do their job. This review has nothing to do with them - and everything to do with whoever is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the rooms. I walked into this room after a long day travelling , just wanting to hop into a bath and freshen up. I was greeted by stains and hairs in the bath tub. Great , so I didn’t have a bath. I resulted to washing my hair in the sink … whilst trying not to fall through the floor as it was dipping down where I was standing on certain places !!! After I washed my hair , I went to dry it. But I couldn’t do that either - as the hairdryer was COVERED and I mean COVERED in dust! I didn’t even eat my dinner as I didn’t feel comfortable eating in the room. Seriously do not book this hotel. The Innside just up the road is much nicer and has always been clean - stayed there many times. I’m not writing this review for a refund , vouchers etc as it was booked and payed for from my work. I was just genuinely so freaked out by the state of the room. Increase your cleanliness … and sort out those bath stains and bathroom floor - room 239!!!!

The location is why I booked this hotel and the fact that it has a (reasonably priced) car park. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are very dated and could do with freshening up (there's no plug socket by the beds!!), but they are clean and the beds are comfortable

Myself and my partner stayed 1 night. Having stayed in Premier Inns before you know what to expect but this was far from what i expected. The hotel is old and in need of a full refurbishment. The room was dingy with stains on the settee bed and i can honestly say it is the worst hotel room i have ever stayed in. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning. There was damp and mould outside in the corridors. The price my partner paid for this room was an absolute rip off for what we got. Don't think when looking at the pictures online that this is what you are going to get.....avoid at all costs!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Room was filthy. Upon arrival, ‘fresh’ towels were stained with what looked like lipstick and feces. The windows/walls were covered in drips of unknown substances and just overall dirty. The air-con appeared to be working according to the interface but certainly wasn’t doing its job. The 3 nights me and my partner ‘slept’ included 4am cold showers as a desperate measure to cool down. Of course after the first night all of the above was politely reported and complained about to the receptionist, in which we were told there was nothing they could do. I’d like to send the hotel an email but could not find a contact address. So unfortunately this review is a last resort. I’d love to hear back from you Premier Inn…

Shocking premier inn well below the usual standard still awaiting my refund. No hot water for the shower, dodgy smells, given the wrong key and room number, have complained twice now 2 weeks on and still nothing despite promises that it was with the regional manager. Need to retrain the staff and knock the building down. Lots of other customers complaining about air con not working, dodgy windows and poor standard of general maintenance. The only good thing is its convenient location. AVIOD this premier inn at all costs.

1 star (maybe 0?!) to the night duty manager who had such a sh*tty attitude. We arrived around midnight due to a flight delay and we were promptly ignored by white lady at the counter apparently answering a personal call. We stood there for a few minutes while duty manager was still on the phone until finally another staff came out to the counter to attend to us. While she processed our check in, we noticed the hotel bar was still open and enquired if there was still food available since we were starving. She told us that pizza was available until 1.30am so we went up to put our luggage first before coming down again. However when we arrived at the bar, the night duty manager (white lady) told us that "there wouldnt be any pizza available today", even though we had highlighted that her colleague had told us earlier that there was pizza available. Rooms were standard, but not very clean. One of our towels had brown stains (maybe sh*t?!) and the bathtub drain was choked with hair. Beds were clean and comfortable though, and hairdryer was good. Rooms are spacious enough for solo travellers but tight for couples. Edit: I would like to commend the front office staff who finally checked us in, gave us rooms that were quieter, and who attended to all our queries. Sorry we did not get her name, but she was Indian. Thanks for your hospitality!

Awful experience with this hotel. I am usually very fond of premier inns and will always stay in one while I’m travelling for work or staying away for afew nights. My partner and I came down from Edinburgh for 4 nights. We had an early check in however as soon as we entered the room, it was disgusting, cob webs in the corner of the room, semen on the bed, blood on the curtains, hairs in the bath and so much more. We went down to ask for a room change which we got however we had to wait until 3pm for this which we were fine with. Checked into the second room and again, the room was dirty, still cob webs and bodily fluids through the room. We then asked to change room and it was still the same as the other 2 ROOMS. Called premier inn customer service however they were no help. Only the 3rd time we called one man helped us and opened up a case. The woman at reception was also very rude, never had a smile on her face and seems annoyed every time we came down for a room change. Showed her pictures and still didn’t seem too impressed with guests comfort and happiness in the hotel. One of the guys at reception was very polite and kind, aswell as the deputy manger who was very kind. Only compensation we got was breakfast for our stay which myself and many people would agree it’s nothing compared to the price we spent on this awful hotel. Would never ever go back. P.S we booked the remainder of our stay at Piccadilly Manchester which is so much cleaner, staff are very polite and much better location!

Not like your usual Premier Inns! Don't be fooled! It's really extremely run down and quite dirty in parts, and some rooms really quite grim! On recent stay we were first given room 349, which smells so badly of damp and mould it immediately gave me asthma. It looked dirty and had peeling paint. WHY ARE THEY OFFERING THAT ROOM TO ANYONE?!! After complaining we were given a new room, which at least didn't seem detrimental to one's health. It was tired, the bed wasn't properly made, a little grim, peeling paint and dirt by the window. Thankfully we were just staying one night and leaving next morning. The only redeeming features was that it was central and only cost us £45. I really do not suggest staying here unless you're paying these low rates. It's NOTHING like usual Premier inns.

Location good for Deansgate Station. Hotel is away from most shops and food joints so don’t arrive expecting to be able to nip to a local spar or Sainsbury’s local. Shops are within walking distance but not on the doorstep. Rooms on verge of needing a refresh but perfectly adequate especially if you get a decent price.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. Conveniently located with a shirt Ella into the city centre and close to tram that takes you to the old Trafford grounds if you are attending a concert there. Felt safe walking around late at night to and from the tram and hotel as a woman on a solo trip. Smiley and friendly staff who managed to get through the check in queue pretty quickly. Room was nothing special but they were clean and comfortable.

Central to the area I was visiting. Noisy with traffic but because there's an AC unit which is easy to use, it could keep the windows closed. Clean and comfortable room.

I stayed for one night while traveling, during a brief stopover while heading to London. It's nice and close to the train station, but a bit far from the airport. The room itself was fairly nice and very clean, with good water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a rough bump during my stay -- I went out to the vending machine in the Lobby about an hour and a half after checking in, only for my keybcard to suddenly stop working when I tried to go back into the hallway where my room was. One of the employees tried activating a new card for me, but it didn't work. Then another one did the same thing, to the same result. Finally, it worked for a third employee and a third card, but it was somewhat frustrating. The whole thing took no more than 10 minutes, though, so at least it was resolved fairly quickly. Still, it was somewhat frustrating.

Very busy hotel, lots going on. Bar was friendly and the guests were chatty too. Good breakfast and cheap parking. I would be happy to stay here again.

One of the older Premier Inns. Bathroom need updating. Great location less than 10 mins walk from Deansgate station and Deansgate itself. Loads of nearby bars. 12 minutes to Z-Arts theatre. Excellent breakfast choices (£10). Late bar if required!

Good location within city. Car park is £6 additional fee. The room is clean and spacious with a hairdryer, tv and tea and coffee. (Was a little disappointed that there was only 1 tea bag, but there is extra available at reception) It would be nice to have a plug socket next to bed as only available under TV. Bed is comfortable with extra pillows if needed. Free onsite WIFI is trash, works for a bit, and then disconnects. The air conditioner works great, keeping the room comfortable. The bathroom is clean with a bath/shower available. Found staff to be friendly and helpful when needed. Overall, I can't fault the place. 🙃

This Premier Inn is in a great location for getting around Manchester and car parking is very reasonable. The room was decent and about what you would expect. The reason for the low score is when we checked in we were given our room number and key cards. Our room was 4 floors up and about as far as you could get from reception. This wouldn't have been a problem but when we tried the room key cards they didn't work on the door. I went down to reception and they gave me 2 new key cards but they again didn't work. My partner then went down to reception and she was given new key cards. Again they don't work. I went down this time and guess what? 2 new key cards that didn't work. At no point did any staff members offer to come to the room to check if there was an issue with the door. Eventually I went back to reception and asked to move rooms. After checking with someone they agreed to move our room and the key cards worked. The next day I tried to get into our room and the key card again didn't work. Luckily the other card still worked. Overall not a great experience!

Wooden hollow floors means you can hear anyone above doing laps as they walk to the bathroom and back. Shower water pressure was non existent. Great if you go to the O2 Arndale. The breakfast was nice and our host was great, she gave us a lovely table and remembered we liked that seat the enxt morning and kept it for us. The room was spotless but as stated above I had a couple gripes. Would still return for a single night.

The Internet is terrible even if you buy the premium. No plugs by bed. You have 3 plugs. Rooms look like they're from the80s. Shower design is terrible. Don't turn the shower off whilst you're in it.

Great location only a short walk to city centre and staff are all very nice. Good size car park, which was £6 for 24 hours for guests. Breakfast was like all premier inns, good value. Rooms and overall appearance inside were in need of renovation and looked very tired.

Currently sat here in this premier Inn desperately searching for a different premier Inn to stay in. Saw my friends room as he paid to check in early and I'm waiting until 3pm but the whole hotel feels dirty, dated and scummy. Surrounding area is a mix of nice business buildings surrounded by streets that are filthy and covered in graffiti. Genuinely cannot stay a night here it's disgusting and feels like some sort of borderline ghetto.

We booked here for just one night as we were going to a gig at the Albert Hall. Location fabulous, just a15 minute walk to the venue. Room clean and tidy, excellent breakfast. Lovely warm welcome from Oshane and, incredibly, we managed to park at the hotel!! Staying at Premier Inn gives you a discount on the parking charge so it only costs £6 for 24 hours. Highly recommend.

My worst ever experience in a Premier Inn restaurant. I had a meal deal booked and arrived at 7:30pm. I was advised that they were busy until 8:00pm, but said I was happy to sit at the table with a drink. I sat down at 7:40 and my main course arrived at 8:30. However, my dessert didn't then arrive until 9:20 and no apology was offered. This was so disappointing and nothing like the service I typically receive at a Premier Inn.

This premier inn is ok, my room was clean and tidy the staff were polite and friendly. Decent size carpark £6per 24 hours. There's an in-house restaurant. "Table" i had the sirloin stake and it was quite good.

probably the worst Premier Inn i ever had. Bathroom was cleaned, but they never vacuumed the room. Over all feeling was a bit icky and VERY tired. Location was good as i had to be near, but will not return here. Staff was very friendly though. Guy that checked me in spoke in rhyme :-D

Rooms as always were clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast buffet was not great when you consider what you are paying for it. At peak time they were bringing out small trays and containers of everything that went in no time and then you were left waiting for fresh to come out and then not everything did. And I know it's difficult to please everyone when it comes to bacon but it was barely cooked . The beans were cold, I never saw mushrooms or black pudding come out. Not well organized I felt

My husband and I, Andy and Maria Perry stayed here overnight.Firstly,a lovely comfy bed! We all know how important that is! Tasty breakfast, amazing staff-Solange deserves a special mention because she went the extra mile to ensure our stay was very pleasant indeed. Good central location. Highly recommended.

The hotel it self is in need of a bit of refurbishment. It was clean and tidy but a bit dated looking. The car parking was great and it was nice and easy to walk to Manchester central. The staff in the bar and reception were super friendly and helpful, bar one last who deff didn't want to be there. A big shout out to Rhys and Chris who were always cheerfully happy to help and chat! We will be staying again hopefully next year 🙂

Good sized room on 3rd floor, quiet as it was triple glazed and decor/equipment not new but in satisfactory condition. Great value for the price £39 non refundable. £5 per 24hrs is great for parking but you must get a voucher on arrival & get in early to secure a place if hotel is fully booked. Dining room wasnt new but is tidy & well kept. Staff are very friendly. The hotel wasn't too busy on the Sunday when we stayed but it is often 100% booked. If you've paid Premier Inn top prices to queue for rooms where staff are racing to prep them for the 3pm check in deadline & guests have also checked out of your room late, you'll probably notice the flaws in decor etc more here and may be irritated before you interact with the hard working staff. They seem like a good team doing their best.

2 Stars is a push. There was a mistake made on the booking meaning that me and my dad did not get a twin room. Simple mistake but we were put into a double room. When we asked for spare sheets for me to sleep on the sofa they made no effort to sort us out. So I got absolutely no sleep and then had to get up at 5am for a flight. The facilities are old and dingy. I’ve seen better room conditions on boats. The toilets in the bar absolutely stink and they didn’t seem to care either. A bottle of water in the vending machine is £2… disgustingly over priced. In saying all of this the staff seemed to be friendly enough, just no clue how to serve customers.

  • 5/5 Sue G. 1 year ago on Google
I only stayed for one night but in that time I spoke to 5 staff members. The room was as I would always expect from a Premier Inn, clean, comfortable and practical, it was the staff who made the difference, (well and the late bar). All my questions were answered politely with a smile from the reception team. The evening bar staff were friendly and efficient. I always choose Premier Inn for a city overnight stay and this was one of thr best.

  • 5/5 Ally R. 1 year ago on Google
Superb central location and added bonus of onsite parking which is really cheap in comparison to city centre parking. Room was typical premier inn style, clean and super comfy beds and pillows for great nights sleep. Came up for a concert and to visit family and ended up staying an extra night. But what made this an exceptional hotel was the duty manager Solange. She was so attentive that she even remembered mine and my daughters first names and her customer service skills were on point! Fantastic attitude and manner. Served by several other staff on bar/restaurant/reception when we arrived early- and they were again really friendly, knowledgeable about the drinks and food and parking. Could not fault anything. Second visit to this hotel when we come up to Manchester, will not be the last

  • 5/5 Neil B. 1 year ago on Google
I chose this Premier Inn over the others in Manchester as it is close to the evening gig I was attending and the ample on site car parking at £5/24hrs. On line booking through their app is simple and at a reasonable cost. The room is comfortable for a short stay and the bed is very comfortable. My room was on the 4th floor overlooking the main road and road noise was not too much at all. There is a restaurant and bar together with both a Continental and English breakfast available if required at an extra cost.

was nice and quiet stay. room was clean and not to cluttered. TV worked. bar was cozy with a wide range of drinks. new bar man so a little slow on service but no issues. breakfast we as Nicky laid out with a good selection of cooked and continental. would stay again

Overall, a good place to rest in Manchester. Despite the necessity of a new face and a general cleaning, the hotel offers comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and the staff there was very friendly! Moreover, the price was very affordable being an hotel near the city centre (5 min walking).

  • 2/5 Bea T. 9 months ago on Google
Rooms dated , need updating. Very clean though. As a couple we were placed in the family section and as a result we were woken up at 6 am with banging feet running across the room above us - so much for a lie in. Food was cooked well , clean restaurant , helpful. Reception were friendly and helpful. About 15 min walk to Arndale. £ 10 in a taxi .

It's an older premier inn with parking and it's just outside of the centre, but well within walking distance of the city centre and venues. Staff are polite, rooms are clean but show there age. Very squeaky floors in room and corridor. Bring ear plugs as there is constant noise from the ring road/motorway.

Lee was our main point of contact and he was outstanding. The team of staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating throughout. Rooms are clean and tidy, but some updating is required. Breakfast was worth paying for and the bar is reasonably priced. Good location and walking distance to most places if interest. Discounted parking at a good price.

A great location Our room was a little tired and there was rubbish left under the bed. However the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was VERY busy but very goo. Lots of choice from cereals, yogurts, fruit, croissants and hot food. They only have soya milk for their milk alternative., which is ok for cereals but not great in coffee. I was impressed with the vegan bacon though. It was the This isn’t bacon which I’m a big fan of and I could order what I wanted which was fab. Overall a good stay and would recommend.

Customer service is excellent. The room is good size, clean and well equipped. It's quiet and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast served are unlimited continental or full English breakfast with unlimited drinks. Extra tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar and milk are available in reception. The hotel is family friendly and near the train station.

Super friendly staff at booking. Knew the local area well and the restaurant was excellent. Pay on departure parking is utterly stupid at a hotel though, like its set up for you to forget. Also set so you can't use the app to pay for the parking after you've left the hotel.

👍👍 I was craving curry during my stay in Manchester. And Google suggested this place to me. It's in the centre, almost 6 minutes away from my hotel.
