Went on Superbowl Sunday. Great atmosphere. Large bar, plenty of space lots of seating available to watch the game on. Plenty of choice of beers - although they ran out of 'Coors' early on. They also do these 8 pint dispenser. Nicely decorated sports theme bar. Biggest cheer of night was for staff who dropped a full tray of drinks.

Highly recommend for great friendly atmosphere, tasty food for low price and vegan friendly. Dtaffs always lovely and only £5.50 for a double vegan burger and chips which was a great portion size and can add a drink under the deal for £1 more for soft or £1.50 alcoholic. Would recommend going here rather than spoons tbh

Came here for match day. Loads of screens and good sound which was good. Tables not clean. Sticky and bits of food on it. Ordered a pint of lager and a Coke. Both were very flat. Gave the pint back and received another fairly flat pint. Asked for a food menu and the bar staff said they are on the table. I said there is just a drinks menu on our table and she just said - they are on the table… Food was ok, lots of sauce options for burgers on the menu but a very small amount in the burger so may as well have been plain. There is a sign at the bar saying free shots if you give us a 5 star review so maybe take some of the reviews with a pinch of salt!

Good atmosphere

Huge sports pub. You can watch events from British Premier League, Champions League up to "fake" football aka the American one.

The lack of organisation was embarrassing, booked a table but took half an hour getting to it because you have to get to the front of the bar to speak to anyone because there are no people greeting on the door, took another 15 minutes for dirty table to be cleaned, 90 minute wait for burger and chips because there was only 1 person in the kitchen. App is also completely unhelpful. A terrible experience would not touch again.

As an absolute Fan of the city of Manchester, who's been visiting it like 20 times over the last 14 years, this is my favourite place to be in Manchester. Fair prices for nice food, beer, watching sports and partying on the weekends. Last weekend I found out that they even serve "Mega pints". I absolutely recommend this place and would give them 10 stars, if I could. Hope to work with you one day 🙏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nice pub, food is average but good. However, larger on draft is served flat; whenever you raise this with most of the staff they tend to have an attitude, despite the drink being of poor quality. Would recommend for food and drinks if you're having spirits. Would avoid any draft drinks given the quality of the pour and the price charged.

Brutal experience. Music should be iron maiden and everyone inside has maiden shirts on Order a triple yanki doodle burger. Told it will be 1 hr. Ok. Thank you. Table 14. Got a receipt for table 40. Told manager. Set stop watch 9min 37 sec a burger n chips arrived at 14 Great. I ate the chips and tucked into burger. It’s only a double. And there is mac n cheese on it. Clearly someone else’s. Who got the triple ? Is it at 40. I over paid a £1 but at under ten minutes I was happy. But staff here are brutal. Or management.

Went in for some food after playing mini gold next door. Food was delicious, great portions for the prices. Only thing I didn't like was when the food was brought over we hadn't been given any cutlery and had to go up and ask for some. Isn't a major thing but it's still something you'd think you'd get along with your food. Atmosphere was pretty chilled. Didn't like how there was a different sport on every single TV that was there but nothing major. All in all, really nice and chilled place for some food and drinks. Would recommend.

Really nice bar with okay prices. Drinks are generous sizes though. Ordered a burger and chips and took 35 minutes to arrive which was frustrating but the burgers were fresh and they tasted great.

Good if you know what to expect, but not for watching football and the World Cup. I booked a table explicitly to watch a WC match with some friends and was given a table far from the screens that showed the match (the nearest ones were showing rugby) and by the dancing floor. Additionally, they were passing very loud music, so we could barely watch the game and were interrupted more than a few times by people "annoyed for us not having fun and seating instead of dancing and singing" (they were not aggressive though). The drinks were OK and the Hunter's Chips were quite disappointing. We left at half-time and went somewhere else to watch the second half of the match. If you're on a pub-crawl, want to get drunk and sing and dance, this place might be good. But not for live sports.

After a long day of traveling we arrived in Manchester and Walkabout was just what we needed! Good drinks and bar food (we got wings and nachos) and it was very reasonably priced. We also wanted to watch the US Open (golf) and they changed a few of the tvs for us. Very friendly staff!

I've been in this club for about 15 min, then after i went smoke they didn't let me in for no reason. Never more... even that I had drink inside, which they stoled from me by not letting me get in

This bar has a very friendly atmosphere and I’m really happy with our service. From being greeted by the doorman as we came in to being served our drinks and food promptly we have always been treated amazingly here. Thank you to the friendly staff we’ve encountered, you’re all doing a good job 👍🏻

Worked up a thirst looking for an apartment to rent and popped in here for a beer after givin up on my mission. Was pretty quiet since there was no sports on , which suited my mood perfectly. The beer cost a fiver which since its manchester central it matched birra moretti prices elsewhere but there are cheaper alternatives. Felt a slight australian vibe with some 'down under' based artwork and decor , which catch the eye perfectly. I particularly love the grafitti style parrot on one feature wall. Overall , beltin mate !

This was a slick pub for an afternoon drink, where options are presented clearly that include a summer special menu! The pub has a nice feel with strobe lights, replica objects and live music, making for relaxing time after being out a lot. I enjoyed a pint of Heineken for around £3 at a comfortable table, where cleanliness was maintained, after being served by the lovely staff!

Not great, weighted an age for food even though it was quite, when it did arrive it was well displayed and tasty but the chips were worm at best, we had weighted long enough so could not be bothered to send them back, sorry but they missed the mark this time.

I always have a great night out here, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are friendly & always enjoying themselves! Would highly recommend going here if you’re out in Manchester by the Printworks. The food is great too and the drinks are reasonably priced and a fab selection!

Me and husband came in for a meal and a pint, we was greated with a big smile off the bar staff they were all lovely and very helpful. The decorations make us feel very christmassy, the food arrived quickly and the all day breakfast was perfectly cooked. Would highly recommended.

Visited before Rick Astley yesterday, tables clean and wiped despite being a busy Saturday. Food came out promptly and was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Bar service slow and over an hour wait for food which wasn't communicated when ordering. Toilets absolutely disgusting, smell of urine very strong when walking down the stairs towards loos, several cubicles damaged, disabled toilet was appalling, floor was soaking wet

We came here to watch the boxing and a for a few drinks! It was absolutely perfect, the vibes were 10/10, music was good and staff were very helpful. And lots of tv’s so you can actually watch the sport. Would defo come back

Place itself was ok later on staff come and moved tables to make space on dance floor and was quite abrupt staff just grabbed our table and shoved it back and knocked over full drink which we pointed out to him and said you could of waited 2 mins they never replaced the drink also leaving a friend walked outside with a drink and rather than the bouncers telling him to go finish it inside they just snatched it off him and said you had your chance and refused to give it back with another bouncer squaring up to us pretty rude and aggressive really so that was 2 full drinks we had lost due to staff and bouncers. Crowd inside were all friendly with no trouble only issues we had were with their staff which lost us over £15 worth or drinks.

Arrived at Walkabout early, found plenty of seating in a welcoming atmosphere. Received excellent and prompt service, and the double vodka was accurately measured, perhaps even a bit generous. Took advantage of great deals on Jägermeister, which we appreciated.

I recently visited this walkabout and had a terrible experience from start to finish, no welcome, staff with no idea where or how we order food. Chairs higher than the tables the list goes on. I wrote to them in my feedback survey and this is the reply. Service was outstanding, we had BEN serving us and he was going above and beyond for us at all times, its been a busy bar but he still went out of his way to ensure we had the outstanding service we required. Would definitely recommend the bottomless brunch and would happily have BEN be our main server again.

Visited this place yesterday afternoon, the toilets were a disgrace, looked as though they had not been cleaned for years, the tables were no better, they were dirty and grimey. Decided not to dine as I would hate to see the kitchen area!!

Whilst out for the first time in years & with my work colleagues we came in here as a few wanted to see the City game. The atmosphere was great & not overshadowed by the football (not everyone likes football) so with the blend of music & people happily coming & going it was an enjoyable night. This place is spacious with seating areas & room to dance. A long bar area with a powerbank machine for use if you need to charge your phone. Toilets were downstairs & kept clean with a man offering for a small fee some nice popular sprays . Food is served here at reasonable prices too! & they have non alcoholic beer for those of us being the D.D or driving/riding home. The food was great (burger & chips) the beers too & great staff.

Best Matchday experience here. The speakers are really good that provides you a stadium like audio experience. The food was good too. Highly recommended..

Good atmosphere for a works day/night out. Serving speed at the bar was a little slow for a Saturday afternoon but not awful Good music, and DJ took requests For a bar in Manchester prices were reasonable and a decent enough selection of drinks Bathrooms were clean for a high volume venue

The staff were lovely (especially the young blonde 21 year old woman who served our group). Whilst not cheap for Manchester prices where reasonable. Lots of TVs with different sports showing. Music playing was a bit too loud for easy conversation but was good music.

Service was excellent, food was excellent, fed 6 of us very well for £36. Would definitely recommend. For families with older kids on a day out looking for good value 😍

Cheap drinks, loads of space and booths. Open windows and relaxed atmosphere. Lush.

Took about 25 minutes from ordering for food to hit the table and there was only 4 tables taken in the whole venue. Food was good tasting, staff were polite and friendly. Toilets are a mission away though. It's about 40ft underground swear I saw dwarves down there!

Was waiting for 15 minutes at the bar, where the staff could clearly see us. Everyone was served who just walked straight up to the bar. An absolute joke, proper bad service. Will never be going here again.

At the time of writing, it is table service only. However, the staff, customers and atmosphere are as brilliant as ever.

A great bar. Very relaxing and fun at the same time. Can get very busy on a weekend although not obviously at the moment. Even during this stressful and uncertain time you still recievr service friendly service from the staff. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit if you're in Manchester and need a break from things.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. The staff are rude as anything and behave as if they would rather pull their eyelashes out than serve you. We've never felt more unwelcome in a place especially when the person you think would be the most inviting (the manager) has an attitude as if she's entitled to whatever she wants. Avoid at all costs and go elsewhere around printworks, you'll have a much nicer night.

Called in early on a Sunday afternoon. Quiet to start with but soon ended up busy. Loved the old walkabout off deansgate which closed a few years ago but this bar has got a good few things going for it excellent bar staff who actually look after customers. Food & drink was spot on can't fault the place.

Well run by super, friendly staff. Very clean and extremely organised in tricky times. Felt very safe.

Atmosphere was pretty dead even though the bar was full. Security shouted in our face “WE HAVE NO TABLES” before even asking if we had a booking (which we did). Drinks tasted like they had 0% alcohol in them and we saw loads of people leaving pitchers. Female toilets were full of flies which was gross. Don’t recommend

Visited yesterday unfortunately only one lady on duty and took almost 15 minutes to get served at the bar with very few customers in. also wanted food but was informed short of kitchen staff so ate elsewhere.

This place was awful from start to finish. The tables were incredibly sticky. The food we ordered 2 sandwiches hardly Al a carte came out wrong I mean who puts BBQ sauce on a club sandwich. This has implications for allergies at the very least. The manager was very argumentative and didn't want to refund our money. 100% not coming back. This is a picture of the menu stuck to the table

We ordered chicken tikka masala which came out raw and after confronting the manager she admitted it was microwaved curry which isnt good. The chicken was that raw we would of had a more cooked chicken straight from the farm. We also ordered bbq chicken, bacon and cheese melt which the peas were rock solid and cold. No wonder it was 50% off as it was only 50% cooked.DO NOT EAT HERE. Also we ordered a beer which came to our table with part of the beer pump with it.

We got kicked out for accidentally breaking a glass, quite a nice place even during covid!

came on the 5th August (Wednesday) for an impromptu drink and bite to eat with my parter and son who all live in the same house. We had the walkabouts burger and drink deal for all 3 of us. Which came really quickly and was delicious. The waitress discounted our order in line with the governments 50%off scheme. We were all really impressed. Shoot forward less than a week to the 10th August (a monday). Where just me and my son ordered the same deal. This time no discount was added and dispite there only being 2 of us the bill came to more than it did when there was 3 people with alcholic drinks. I questioned this with staff to be told that the deals arent included in the 50%off and was refused a refund. Our food came and it was not good. The burger was sloppy and not good at all. Our visit was disappointing. Its a shame they are inconsistent. Because i would have happily become a regular customer even after August when the government scheme ends.
