👍👍 We had a brilliant night in YES for the Black Keys after party Record Hang. Was amazing to be close up to the band while they played records familiar and not to an excited and appreciative crowd of fans. Great location and atmosphere. We went to see My Baby there on Halloween. Amazing venue with great sound system. Felt really intimate and enjoyed the vibe! Only wish they had a better selection of beers and ciders and the place would be perfect! DJ downstairs was great too!

Nice bar near the University, reminiscent of Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds, but slightly more polished. Great rooftop area and bar. Will come back to try the pizzas and see a gig another time.

We had a great time here watching Ben Ottowell lastnight! This is a cool music venue set in an old Victorian building, the bar has some great craft beers & lagers. We also eat here too and the food was great. We're going to return and check the roof terrace out in Summer.

I simply cannot sing the praises of this place loud enough for human ears to hear. The layout is incredible - bar on ground floor, underground indie acts in the basement, pink dance and rock room above, another bar and rooftop terrace above that - what’s not to love! The best part about this place is the people - the staff. Nicole Sharpe is a standout staff member who makes everyone feel welcome - give her a raise!

The bar itself was fairly average. It had a pretty limited selection of beers on tap. Mainly run of the mill faux-craft beer, if you're not a macro lager drinker. The in-house pizza place looked good, and seemed very popular. The live music space upstairs was great, very intimate space, there was a bar setup in the room, which was convenient. The stage height provided a good view of the band from anywhere in the room and the sound quality seemed decent. I'd definitely go back for another concert. Probably wouldn't go back for drinks/food, the bar was fine, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

Went to see Daniel Avery on a Sunday afternoon. Great venue, atmosphere and decently priced drinks. Staff are friendly. Great way to wind up and wind down on a Sunday. Ground floor bar is a bit small but they do move the tables out of the way

A bustling pub with lots going on. There is food on offer which looked really good, but we'd already eaten, so didn't try any. There are a good selection of beers on offer and the space is nicely quirky. There was a DJ present playing jazz soul style music. You have to shout to your friends to talk sadly, who are sat next to you, which resulted in us moving to the next pub down the road. If you like good food, good beer and disco volume music, this is definitely the bar for you.

I had a fabulous evening at Yes on Tuesday the 15th of August for the Hurray for the Riff Raff gig. Yes has everything friendly welcoming people, bar, great pizza and gyros, D.J. beer garden, roof terrace and the Pink gig room. There was a cool relaxed atmosphere about Yes evident from entering the front door. Special mention must go to Yaseen for organising an accessible seat for me in the Pink Room so I could enjoy the show pain free. I'm already planning another day trip to Manchester and Yes. Next time my friend Jayne will be coming too.

Great venue for smaller artists. Saw Buck Meek in the Pink Room. Nice intimate room, decent sound, great view. Bar area looks nice downstairs, good atmosphere. Food too.

A surprising nice place to have a few beers! The choice of drinks is decent and a lovely setting too in which to have drinks. The menu was wide ranging and looked great - however a big disappointment when we asked for an array of plates only to be told the kitchen was shutting down on that day and the only thing they have is pizza. This was at 4-5pm so goodness knows what’s going on there —— so don’t expect to get food - plan to eat somewhere else

Great place. The whites of the eye Pink Room is a great place to watch music. The basement is an underworld and similarly a great place to see things close up and personal. Awesome atmosphere, beer and food in the heart of Manchester. My favourite venue.

Great place. Decent size, loved the atmosphere. They have Donner Summer vegan fast food and a regular pizza counter. Saw a live act in the basement called Nathan Fake, the sound system is fantastic.

Pink room is a great venue within yes... One of the gems of Manchester and a real treat to see an artist you love, or find someone new in there

First time here for Screaming Females. Nice bar and pizza place downstairs, cool terrace bar on the second floor and the Pink Room venue was decent. Sound wasn't the best, but the air conditioning and atmosphere was spot on. Good selection on tap and in the fridge across all three bars too.

Great vibes. I loved the ground floor room, which wasn't too busy. The 1st floor was techno and I absolutely loved it and the terrace on top is really nice. They should add security to prevent spiking but overall I felt pretty safe. Great idea the ine to have a little food stall that serves pizza and kebabs! They both looked really delicious for a good price

Really cool all vegan Berlin style döner kebabs! What's not to love? The atmosphere was great, the beer selection was a bit limited but they had some nice ones on tap. The food was excellent, well priced and very tasty with a tonne of vegan options. They also did pizza which was mostly non-vegan. My friend had some slices which were generously large and he said they were very nice. Would totally come here again, great bar! Also they do loads of very cool live music epoch I'm keen to check out.

I saw the most incredible artist there and received a t shirt made out to my daughters. Just amazing. Great life experience. Will be unforgettable thanks to Hayden Thorpe.

The gig space in the basement downstairs was small but intimate and afforded great views of the stage. We went to see the wonderful Alaskalaska who performed superbly with studio quality vocals. Unfortunately the gig space is not wheelchair accessible. The bar is frequented by students and has a fun and trendy vibe, bar staff and security guards were all very friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating on the ground floor when you enter the building. The toilets were clean and located on the ground floor.

Got there on time to see the main act but for some reason we had to queue on the stairs for 10 mins and wait while nothing happened and then they started letting people in after the band had started playing. The sound wasn't great, a lot of feedback and couldn't tell what the lead singer was saying where we were stood. Seen this band before a few times and this was my least favourite performance mostly because of the venue.
