Booked an over night stay here, very good service at the south hotel, bar staff were lovely. Room was clean, great comfy bed, everything worked as it should, they also provided extra pillows and blankets in the rooms along with a kettle, tea and coffee. We had a meal and that was good to. Book ahead if your going to eat as the restaurant was full so we ate in the bar. Plenty of parking at £10 a night which I felt was a bit expensive but other than that everything was good. Stayed in more expensive hotels and they have not been as good.

Actually quite impressed with this Premier Inn. From check in to out the service was excellent. The room was clean, large, airy & comfortable. The food was very good and bar area inviting. 5 minutes from the airport too tho still £22 return in a taxi because of Manchester airports greed in dropping off fees!

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Only stayed for 1 night for access to the airport but was ideal. Shame that parking is not included in the price (£10 per night), it would make it all lot more attractive to people. Check in was quick and easy. We stayed on the top floor so we thought it would be quite but we still had people getting to their rooms about 2am shouting, laughing and banging doors with no thought to others having to get up early.

My stay with the hotel was excellent. The rooms are clean. I bought the dinner and breakfast package, unfortunately there are less options unless you pay more. Well, overall the hotel experience was good except with my current conversation with the receptionist (the lady). She was rude to me. She thought that I got past two guys in front of me. Which they were kind and told the receptionist that it was okay. There was a cue so maybe she’s just not in the mood. I hope next time you’ll be kind to everyone. More smile?

An ideal place to stay when you have a early flight in the morning. They have decent, clean rooms and the on food from the restaurant and all you can eat breakfast is great to set you up ready for your flight. Will always come here when I fly from Manchester

Lovely rooms, that have just been refurbished.... so comfortable. Highly recommended. The staff on checkout were lovely, the only negative we could say was the lady who handled our check in who was not very personable, maybe not best suited to customer service. Pillows were like concrete.

Premier inn manchester airport north. The room was clean and roomy. Nice size shower with lots of hot water, great size towels. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty to eat, warm and nicely cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative, (personal opinion), 2 Teabags, 2 coffee sachets.... we arrived late evening, the last thing I want to do is to head to reception for a couple of Teabags and milk, so a few extra on arrival would be nice. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, it is very close to the airport and the motorway but soundproofing was very good, no noise. Good night sleep, comfy bed. Would stay again if travelling to Manchester Airport and needed overnight stay. Please note Additional costs for overnight parking but drop off/pick up have free access.

Nice clean hotel with Thyme Restaurant and bar - great selection of drinks. I am always use this hotel before flying away. Please if you can try Fish (Haddock) & Chips or Stack Burger with bacon - best dishes on the menu i try so far.

Perfect place to stay the night before a flight. Rooms are decent. The staff are very friendly, and they offer airport transfer shuttle's starting at 4am, or alternatively, they can arrange a taxi that costs about £13.

The hotel is fine but they do not tell you when you arrive that you have to pay for your car parking at a separate meter when you leave. I have just received a large fine for not having noticed the signs. When I called the Premier Inn to say how upset I was and how helpful it would have been if someone had pointed out that there was a change to the system since I was there in January… the man on reception was very rude and unhelpful. All he kept repeating was that the car park is not their responsibility. A very nasty attitude which made my upset even worse. There’s a desperate need for some decent customer service training at this place. I’m not sure I’ll ever stay there again. So BEWARE if you do stay there.

Can't fault the room bed very comfortable. Had a evening meal staff very friendly menu choice is fine, food was served quickly. I think they do a deal if your having breakfast.

Dreadful, was given a room with a disabled shower, 😕 smoke alarm was lit up all night and the TV screen was so small and fixed so you need5to be lying down. I sent feedback and received a sincere apology, that was it. Oh, and beware the shuttle bus, is booked up incredibly quickly and apparently not the hotel's fault. Nothing to do with them, apart from booking through them and appearing at the front door.

The room was adequate but needed updating as there was a drawer missing in the set of three and the bedside lights were badly adapted to use bulbs that weren't designed to fit, so could have posed a risk as they were loose. However, the bed was comfy, the room quiet and the washing facilities worked fine. Breakfast was interesting - the fried eggs looked like joke rubber ones and were about of that consistency. They had, obviously been left out a while! The mushrooms were dry, almost crispy, for the same reason. However, at least we got something to eat in the morning and the coffee was ok. They offer a transfer service to the station and airport which was reasonable at £5/person. The room was also reasonably priced.

Fantastic for the airport and at a great price. We used it for twilight check in baggage. Stayed over for flight early next morning. Food in the bar very nice and not too expensive. Good range of beers etc. Will use again.

A reasonably priced (depending on when you book it!), clean and comfortable hotel which is ideally placed for a night before or late night arrival stay at Manchester Airport. The additional £10 per night car parking fee over and above the room cost is a rip off, alongside a fairly badly staffed breakfast has dropped them a star from me.

We stayed here before our holiday flight as part of a hotel + airport car park deal bought through Holiday Extras. The hotel is only a mile or two from the airport so takes all the anxiety away about being late for the flight. The hotel itself is the usual high standard you'd expect of a Premier Inn and with friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely stay here again.

For a hotel where tourists are staying overnight before or after flights it's not a very good impression of Premier Inn,s. Badly in need of upgrading and redecoration. I have stayed in quite a lot of lovely Premier Inn,s and the room we had was shabby and not at all inviting. Having said that the food was good as was the bar and service.

Extremely handy for T2 airport, and looks best of the 3 hotels next to each other. Food portions were large for tea, and a lovely lady helped us with ordering to get best value food.

Fine for one night before a flight as it does the job, the room is definitely aged but it’s clean and tidy. There was a small issue with my booking which Emma kindly sorted right away - much appreciated. Removed one star as the airport shuttle driver insisted on charging £7.50 instead of £5 as it says on their website.

Opposite the south one, so dont get them mixed up. The north one is the horse shoe shaped one. It also has nice views of the airport. Found on the outskirts of Manchester, its not only a 5 minute drive to the airport, but its literally just off of a main road too. Parking is £10 a day. Pay at reception and give your registration. Check in was easy, and a required room on the top floor was given easily. 2 lifts available.. Stairs also if you're feeling energetic. The room was standard and as expected. Bed was OK, and I didnt hear any noise from other guests. Breakfast was an open buffet including hot food. My only criticism would be is that the breakfast area felt a little cramped. It was full and busy, with close tables. Considering how big the downstairs area is it could be a really spacious breakfast area. Yes I'd stay again !!!

Staying at the Historic Riverside Mansion was like stepping into a period drama. The mansion's grandeur and antiques evoked a sense of old-world charm. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff's knowledge of the mansion's history added depth to our visit. The riverside location provided a serene backdrop. A stay here is a journey through time.

Some parts needed a bit of TLC, one lift was out of action. Just remember the taxi from the Airport will rip you off for £13 but the hotel arrange shuttle service back for £5 a head. The girls in the restaurant were very busy even when the restaurant wasn't that packed, could probably use another member of staff. Restaurant food was OK. Room was really lovely, very cold when I arrived and the heating was OK but couldn't find a happy spot, was either too cold or too hot. Really liked the mood lighting.

This is a great hotel if your planning on flying out Manchester Airport. The parking costs £10 a night. The rooms are a standard premier inn clean and tidy. Our room had a broken kettle which was sorted within 10 minutes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The window in our room was dirty and extremely small with a view of a carpark.

Lovely refurbished rooms, great nights sleep even though it's right next to the airport, stayed when we flew out and when we returned, good food and drink with friendly staff.

Plus points: amazingly quiet considering airport location, helpful and friendly staff, clean. Negatives: bathroom extractor fan not working, fuse box in bedroom made constant noise, badly damaged carpet, £12 taxi ride from airport as no shuttle.

  • 5/5 Shirley W. 4 months ago on Google
Clean well presented. Both going on holiday & our return. A big thanks to the lovely young lady at the front desk (sorry if the name is not right), Michelle. The taxi she arranged for us said she had been there meny years.

When waiting at reception to check in, the member of staff walked past us, completely ignoring us. Breakfast was great. They advertise free WiFi but, it didn't seem to be working

Stayed here on 22nd Sept as flying from terminal 2. The staff were amazing, treated me to some bubbly as it was my birthday. Special mention to Callum who organised our transport and gave us much needed help in all areas. The hotel had a great atmosphere, restaurant food was lovely, room clean and warm, would definitely stay again. Just beware of the £10 parking charge. The barriers weren't working when we left and we recieved a hefty fine on our return home

Not great. Bathroom has some disturbing looking stains. Also, the (paid) “shuttle bus” is only available to go from the hotel to the airport - not the other way around. So it’s not really a shuttle .. So allow for another 9.50£ in a taxi to get here. PS Ive now got back from my travels, I have to say the more I think about it the more gross my room was. How on earth is this deemed acceptable in a chain like Premiere inn? What else do they have oozing out of walls and surfaces? They go on about how they're 'recovering' from covid with shortages of staff and to be patient etc, but this appears to be their actual level of hygiene.

It’s okay. It’s dated. It’s a bit worn out. It’s bit noisy. There are far better Premier Inns. But it’s cheap and near the airport. And you get what you pay for, so you can’t really complain about the old carpets. I was charged for car parking that wasn’t being enforced - a tenner cash taken from me with no receipt. So my dude on reception, I hope you spent it well.

A local hotel insight of the airport. Massive rooms and good choices great. Prices very good to stay here. About £10 to £12 taxi ride to the terminals.

We had 2 large beds one each (sister and me). Large comfortable room.. Only complaint is that we are still trying after 3 days to get hold of some regarding an item we left by mistake. It's near on impossible to get to speak to anyone these days

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking 11hours before I was due to check in due to a Covid incident. Under the booking conditions I should not have been charged however the fee was taken out of my account. I cancelled via the app on Booking.com who have verified my email was sent but the Premier Inn have said they didn't receive my email!! Booking com have said it's down to the Premier Inn to refund me. I don't know what the Hotel is like but the customer service is disgusting.

Decent place for budget stay but the food is not great. No possibilty to get lunch, only breakfast and dinner even if one has purchased a meal deal. Only one drink allowed on a meal deal. No safe in the room. However the room was decently cleaned but not noise proof. Staff are helpful and friendly.

We booked a night here as a stopover before a very early flight. The staff were absolutely lovely, from the reception staff, bar staff, and restaurant staff. The meal in the restaurant arrived quickly, and more importantly it was delicious! Our room was fairly priced, comfortable, clean, and the A/C helped us get a great night's sleep! The reception staff even helped book us a 4am shuttle to the airport the next morning. We would stay here again if flying out of Manchester Airport!

Hotel Public areas not very clean, furniture not in a great state of repair. Good location to the airport. Reasonably priced. £10 parking, quite steep when in the hotel for less than 8 hours (as just used for a few hour sleep)

  • 4/5 Craig W. 1 year ago on Google
Clean room and comfortable night sleep the duvet was made for the depths of winter so was was a bit warm all night and it's a little bit sneaky of them to charge extra £10 for parking as your not going to be able to just walk in of the motorways. I don't mind paying for parking but just change it at the same time as charging for the room it will come across as less underhanded. There was a waitress in the restaurant that was excellent in her role and I found wasted in this place forgive me I didn't get her name but very nice evening meal and even better service.

Perfect location if you are traveling out of Manchester airport, I've stayed a few times and it's a brilliant location for this reason. The hotel is clean and the bedroom are a decent size and the restaurant is ok as well. If you're like me and you worry about getting to the airport because of road closures or motorway issues definitely book here. Book in advance to get a decent price too.

Check in staff were great and helpful. Food as expected was a bit pricy but quick service, hot and nice tasting. Bit awkward to get to for airport inn, as only shuttle bus to the airport, so taxi required to get there if public transport used. Too much noise from outside, people talking and smoking could easily be heard in rooms.

  • 3/5 Kristina 10 months ago on Google
Room was great and what you would expect from a Premier Inn. Location was excellent for drive to Meet and Greet parking at Manchester Airport. Car Park was full when we arrived except 2 'drop off' spaces which we had to use, a coach had taken up about 6 car parking spaces. We asked the receptionist if this was OK and she replied 'well it will have to be I suppose'. She repeatedly asked me for my booking reference and told me the one I was giving her was wrong and it should be in a different format. She then had a conversation with one of the other staff members about checking whether our room was ready (we arrived around 9pm so there should've been no problem) and they then had to go to the room to check! They also had a moan about another staff member who wasn't pulling her weight. All this in front of us as though we weren't there. She then asked again for a booking reference and I told her this was all I had and she said 'oh yes that's it'!

Great place for Manchester Airport, rooms as described clean and fresh. Restaurant on site is excellent re food and cost. Price wise cheaper than the other Hotels around the airport. But still pricey in my view. Make sure to book online rather than do it at the desk you will save yourself 20 to 30 pounds per room. Further its around 12 pounds for a taxi to terminal one outbound as they have to pay the drop off fee. Would be 5 stars if not for the room price.

  • 4/5 John W. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are what you expect at a Premier Inn, clean and spacious. There is a bar here and a restaurant that really set this hotel apart though. There's a good menu and the bar has plenty of seating. We spent a few hours here the night before out flight. It's close to the airport and cost us £11 to the drop off, so not cheap. Not a bad choice if you're not in a rush and your flight is in the afternoon as ours was. Wouldn't recommend for an early flight, you would need an extra 20 or 30 mins before you got to the airport and would need to book a taxi in advance

  • 5/5 PAUL W. 1 year ago on Google
Great rooms, decent size. Everything you need. Bathrooms are tired to be honest and the bathroom floor needs changed, it was old vinyl and bubbled causing it to raise in areas. The restaurant staff at dinner were extremely friendly and good service. The food was exceptional.

  • 2/5 Shelley J. 1 year ago on Google
Run down under staffed, 1 person running round for breakfast when the place was full and not able to cope which wasn't his fault, not enough food out and tables not cleaned for others to dine. Furniture tatty and worn. Bedrooms are clean and better quality than the main areas.

Myself and my son spent night for airport access, staff were helpful and friendly. I'd not shuttled before to the airport so was a little wary but they booked us and told us where to wait etc, we got there early but they checked us in no problem. Shout out to Mark in the restaurant who went beyond to make us feel welcome. Lisa

With the exception of the staff who were great, this is by far the worst premier inn that I have stayed in, so glad it was just one night. The first room we were given had faulty electrics, the light flickering and the key card wouldn't work. The second room had a broken towel rail and a toilet that wouldn't flush, kept having to go to the foyer toilets. On a brighter note, the evening meal was really nice, but the breakfast was a disappointment, not much choice and no tongs were supplied for the bread and baked goods, watching people picking stuff up with their fingers is not appealing or hygienic. Apparently this one is having a much needed upgrade in March but I'll not stay here again, better to spend a little more and stay elsewhere.

Location is great as it is so close to Manchester Airport. The taxi only took about 5 mins to get to the airport. We stayed in a family room and it was as expected for an overnight stay. Room was clean and has everything required for a "comfortable" evening. Hotel has free wifi which is good, there is a bar and restaurant, food was decent for the price you pay especially as there is nothing else around the hotel.

  • 4/5 Benson C. 2 years ago on Google
I spent a night in this hotel and I was not disappointed. Even though you can see signs that it is an old hotel, it is properly cleaned and the room is big. Nice shower, but the toilet push button flush system is a bit too hard. All the staffs I met were friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was great and I enjoyed my full English. I recommend them as I will stay again.

Nice comfy rooms, TV, nice staff, self serve check in machines. Convenient shuttle bus service to the airport for £5, but cash only. Only issue is WiFi is advertised but is really poor speeds to force you to pay for additional WiFi.

  • 4/5 Neil C. 9 months ago on Google
Premier rooms were like all of the other Premier Inn room, so there were no issues. We didn't eat at the onside restaurant but did grab some drinks from the bar. The check-in is a self-service thing. When you arrive there are 2 machines so you can check yourself in and create your own key card. It's a very impersonal and cold greeting. You also have to pay £10 per night for parking, so make sure you input your car registration into the machine.
