I used to love training here, it’s close by, convenient and has a nice layout, however, this gym is constantly packed no matter what time it is and it is so off putting, the weights room is never free, the equipment always has about 3 different people waiting around it to use it. No matter what time of day it is - it’s never just relaxed/a little more calm, it’s made me consider moving gyms because there is never the opportunity to get a nice workout in anymore. This is the only gym close by, so a lot of the members are students giving it’s a student area... which makes it even busier. I do feel there should be gym times that are a little less busy/less full, because I am not waking up at 2/3 am (the only empty time) to train... I woke up at 6:00 to train today - there’s already nearly 100 people in the gym and it gets busier and is like that until about midnight.

Nice gym but way too busy. The free weights area is constantly packed out, even at 10pm! They should consider having the entire floor dedicated to free weights, as the current allocated area is not adequate. The only reason I continue going here is because it's the closest gym to me, so I will just have to bear with it for now. If you are looking to join this gym and use the free weights area, I would strongly suggest you check it out before hand! I sincerely hope The Gym Group will actually commit to doing something about this problem, instead of merely taking my feedback on board?

Please don't sign up here it's so bad. It's the only gym nearby to Fallowfield, where loads of students live. Their only option is this gym & students like to be healthy. Which means, it's PACKED literally any hour of the day. (unless you're willing to go between 12am-4am) Everything about it is off-putting. The weights are never returned to the right place, it's a miracle if you can find a free rack or bench, or machine even. It's also actually a bit funny how many people take up a whole area for themselves, and almost push people out the way. And then they don't even lift correctly/safely, so they drop the weights on the floor and look like they're about to pass out. (does anyone monitor this) It doesn't feel at all safe to work out because you're always worried about someone taking the equipment you're using, or worried that you won't have equipment available for your workout. Or worried that you'll get accidentally hit by someone in the weight area because there's no room, ever. You also sometimes can't actually walk around the machines and weights because there's so many people, plus the people who don't care to use lockers so leave their jackets and bags in the middle of the floor. It's literally more expensive than the other Gym Groups in Manchester, because it's in such a popular area where there are no other gyms around. Just sign up for the next nearest gym and sacrifice the bus journey, you'll have a nicer time.

After giving myself two weeks to adjust to the new layout of this gym I can confidently say I'm not a fan and it has ruined my gym experience. Firstly if you believe there were any quality of life improvements made to the gym you are more than mistaken. Previously there were 6 Squat rack areas, and now there are only 5 because the one on the first floor next to the office has disappeared. There is also one less leg press, and a Latt pull down machine was removed. If you class removing equipment as improving the experience for the gym members then maybe your vision makes sense. Otherwise, the only thing I can conclude is you have caused an unnecessary downgrade to this gym and reduced the capacity it can handle despite knowing it can get extremely busy during peak months when students move back in. The dumbell area with benches on the first floor was also removed, and everyone goes to the new second floor area which is now much smaller and feels claustrophobic when there are more than 5 people in the space.  Whereas before you could go downstairs if the second floor was too crowded It's just beyond my comprehension why a step backwards has been taken by whichever incompetent person you hired to mess with the gym. If anything I am now getting less for my money and I will be looking into alternative gyms.

I only come to the gym because of Ciaran. He is an amazing PT. I have lost 10kg so far and continue to get fitter by the day!! Would surely recommend anyone wanting to start this journey!

Beyond lost for words, shame on the stingy individuals who manage this gym. The air conditioning is virtually none existent at this gym! I have been coming to this gym for the past 3 years and this was never an issue before. The membership count at this gym is clearly at an all time high as its packed 24/7, so you'd think they'd want to look after all the members. Unfortunately this couldn't be further from the truth, they'd rather have you sweating your bacon off even during the heatwave temperatures. Absolutely disgraceful.

The gym is great when you can actually go, between 4 and 11 it’s way too busy, every other gym group site in manchester is never this busy, not sure why the fallowfield one is so busy at these times but I often had to walk in and walk straight out. Due to this I have cancelled my membership and gone elsewhere, other than that the facilities are good and it’s a nice location but needs to be FAR bigger

Without doubt the worst gym I've ever been a member of. People hogging equipment and using it in groups of 4/5+ at a time, never any equipment free, no one puts anything away. Walking around the freewights section is taking your life into your own hands. Think the behaviour of members leaves a lot to be desired, a lot of the problems I've mentioned above could be solved by calling people out when they're acting like n*bheads during their workout but I'm not sure I've ever seen a member of staff checking the freeweights section. Its the only budget gym in walking distance which is why they have a lot of people there but trust me, its worth going elsewhere. I'll be off at the end of the month and won't look back.

The worst gym I've ever been to. The gym is an outrageous mess throughout, staff are incredibly rude, disinterested and there is absolutely no control over the behaviour of members. I've been here three times since joining a week ago and in that time I've seen members vaping, working out topless to check themselves out in mirrors, and even bringing their own sound system to blast at full volume. Just awful from start to finish.

Gym needs to either limit the capacity or increase in size and equipment since it’s always packed 24/7.You will be waiting a good 15 mins to use each equipment. The gym being in a student area makes it impossible to work out. I’ve been a member for years now but it’s got to the point where i can barely complete a workout due to how busy it is. Il be joining another gym soon instead of staying at this mediocre gym.

Too busy, too messy, never any staff presence. Only good bit is the location, if there was any other gym nearby I'd move without a question. I have been to many "The Gym"s across the country and all are of a far better standard at a significantly cheaper cost. Up your game The Gym Fallowfield!

Great gym, wide selection of equipment and plenty of floor space at the top. Friendly staff on hand most of the day, classes are all good and challenging. Special shoutout to Josh and Steve on the Friday strength classes!

Yesterday I've been to gym with my dad . While filling up the form i forget to mentioned that my dad is disabled. He couldn't go through stairs .the lift was only for disabled people and staff. There was a staff member in the gym Fredery kery he provided the best customer services ive ever get here in England . He received me and my dad at the gate on ground floor used his own staff pin for the lift . through out our whole session in the gym he look after me and my dad like our family memeber .this world needs more nice people like him . He is truly an asset for this organisation. God bless you Fredry . I'm really impressed with your excellent customer service. Stay blessed man . 👍👍👍 You deserve more then 5 stars.

A good functional gym in a convenient location. I have been having sessions with personal trainer Josh Luckhurst for a year and he is the best! He is always there for support and guidance, makes sure your form and technique is perfect to get the most from every exercise, and has a wealth of knowledge about nutrition but is realistic and won't deny you life's luxuries! He'll sit down and review your plan with you according to your goals and concerns anytime and is always a friendly face, encouraging and making you laugh when exercise may be the last thing you feel like doing. Highly recommended 👍

Based on 1 time visit, not the best I have experienced with The Gym Group. For starters, the good thing about this branch is being round the corner from the public transit and so allows for easy access. That is what the 2 stars are for, apart from that 1 star is more than enough. As a gym, it is absolutely busy. I went on a Wednesday between 8:30pm and 10:30pm. I am not sure how many people are allowed but the traffic is too much in the gym. Absolutely NO gym etiquette by the members (weights are all over the place "you are lucky if you can find a pair of DBs in their place", no one returns back the weights "DBs nor Plates", hugging the machines while using the phones and hardly allowing others to work in, etc.). The setup of the gym is quite confusing with its multi-floor tier, no clear indications on what floors offer what; just go and figure it out yourself kinda thing. In addition, it is one of those ones that don't offer you a workout vibe (lack of proper music and volume, not very bright, out if order machines everywhere, etc.). Would never return back for a workout there.

Do not sign up to the gym I went a few times no matter what time it was always busy with students or people who have no life outside of the gym. The staff were always polite and friendly but there were to many people in the end I cancelled and now do how home gym work outs on The FITON website for free . No crowds nothing .. Not worth the money unless you are going to go 3am in the morning. Avoid... How they manage to function I don't know I'm just happy I don't have to go there anymore... The students congregate like its a pub and chat and hog equipment ......This gym is pure Peasantry never again...

If I could give 0 stars I would have given 0 stars. This gym is not for people who do traditional workouts especially during peak hours. You will just end up waiting and wasting time. Dumbbell rack area on second floor is the negative highlight as it is not planned properly and someone has to stop working out to give way to others. Changing the gym for sure.

I have been at this gym for some time now since switching from my uni gym and it has generally been an okay experience. Recently however, I was made to feel quite uncomfortable when a personal trainer (whom I had previously met during a trial session last year) came up to me in the middle of my workout and out of nowhere proceeded to make unsolicited comments about my weight, telling me I ‘had a perfect body from the gods last year but have since put on quite a bit of weight, what happened?’, and that I should ‘go to the classes everyday and then do a full workout and I’ll be able to lose 5kg in 6 weeks’. As someone who is considered to be a healthy weight, I was confused by this interaction and left feeling quite hurt. I don’t believe that anyone, especially someone in the fitness industry should say things about a person and their body in such a way and it has sadly made me feel self conscious in the gym, a place I would otherwise enjoy going to. Despite raising this with a member of the team, to my knowledge nothing has come of it.

I’ve been a member since Nov 21, it took me a while to become consistent because at first it can be daunting, the huge spaces, the 3 floors, the people, the stairs! I eased in by doing classes which I love. They change up over time, which at first I didn’t like but I realise it’s good to put your body through different types of workouts. With that ‘gym friends’ were created as you see regulars attending and it makes coming in that much better. All the staff are great, super friendly and helpful, always saying hello. Fast forward to now, I’m now a proper ‘regular’, coming in 4-6 times a week, feeling super confident in the gym. This is down to my PT, Ali who I started working with June 23 and haven’t stopped since. I’ve lost a huge 16kg and lifting weights I would never dream of. Thank you for giving me my health and confidence back.

It’s a really convenient location for me, but you have to time your visits as it can get crazy busy. I like the three floor set up, especially doing cardio on the top floor looking out over Manchester. They’ve got a lot of equipment and it’s well spaced out in most cases. Compared to every other gym group I’ve been to, this is the dirtiest and least tidy though. There is old dust everywhere and the changing rooms can get pretty rank. The culture at this site seems to be to dump your weights and leave them, move stuff between floors and hog machines and very little seems to be done about it in the three years I’ve been there. The staff are all great and lovely, and clearly make an effort to tidy up, but it’s a losing battle given the subset of clientele that don’t care don’t seem to be sanctioned at all. For £22 a month though… I guess you have to accept that. My PT Josh Luckhurst is the main reason I stay, have done a mixture of weight loss exercise and muscle gain and he’s taken me from a complete anxious novice to someone who genuinely enjoys going to the gym!

It's a good gym with 3 floors and plenty of equipment, but it gets ridiculously busy, so you might not actually get on the equipment you want to use. Coming early in the morning is best. And many of the rowing machines are dodgy- most are either broken or in serious need of a service!! But they neglect them though.

This gym would be perfect for me as I live next door , however each day I go another item of equipment is knackered , its ridiculous, out of the 5/6 towers approx 2 function properly , this is not a new thing either - you should maybe consider charging a little more and getting appropriate equipment. I watched a PT step over a puddle of water last week several times and ignored it - I’m perplexed by the place to be honest as it’s such a great space but clearly neglected with staff who have very little motivation . shame

Fallowfield gym is great as it’s a 24 hour gym and therefore allows me to train whenever I want. It fits in well with my busy day to day schedule. The environment is great and their members are very friendly. No matter how experienced you may be in the gym everyone is treated with respect and there’s always someone there who’s willing to help. The Staff are great and they are very approachable. Moassab is an amazing staff member at The Gym Group Fallowfield who's always there to pick up unwracked weights, offer a spot, help out when injured and overall a nice, friendly person who makes the gym experience that much better.

It's a average gym overall here at Fallowfield Manchester but below are some much needed improvements needed asap Such a big and expensive gym, you should have treadmills here with screens to watch TV on, it's very boring walking for hours on the treadmills and most other gyms have it as standard. Also, please bring more equipment as once it is term time, we have to wait in queue to use the machines as there are many people in the gym at the same time. Also, please update the look and make it look more new and modern, it looks dingy and old building from inside let alone from outside. Hope these improvements are considered, quite a lot of people have been speaking about these things at gym and some even talked about leaving for other gyms which were offering more modern standards.

Don’t know what on earth you were thinking with this HORRENDOUS new gym layout it makes ZERO sense from a practical standpoint the equipment is all over the place and the space is no longer efficiently utilised because there is empty spaces in every floor now where there was equipment thoughtfully placed previously. I hate to imagine the state of this gym when the students return in September. I don’t even want to think about what the state of the dumbell area will be since you so gratefully decided to remove the extra dumbell area we had on the first floor. So now everyone will be overcrowded on the second floor it’s just silly and ridiculous

Charged for parking there despite being a paying member at the time, parking company are asking for proof that I went there saying they required my gym usage records( and apparently couldn't accept a screenshot showing an email of my literal membership payment, which is just ridiculous from the parking company), I couldn't access these records anymore as I had cancelled my subscription since. To get my records I had to send an email to the data team who just straight up didn't respond and now the parking company are saying they wont accept further correspondence, so yeah if you want to add a £100 parking fee on top of your membership feel free to visit.

I’d been training at this gym for months before the pandemic and to get me back into my training and best shape, personal trainer Fredery Kery has and currently is helping me to get the most of my training. He’s a fantastic trainer! I personally struggle with self motivation and by having my sessions with him individually within the gym, I have progressed so much, both mentally and physically. I owe a lot to him and the gym.

Good facilities, love how there are different floors for different work outs. Also think its great that there are water stations around to make it more readily available for people to drink and keep hydrated. Love seeing the screens with the news on them, nice way to keep people informed, also can give you things to think about while working out. Cant say I've ever interacted with a member of staff because I've never needed to however they always seem really friendly when I see them about and helping other people too.

This gym has great facilities and equipment. The staff are really friendly especially Freddy. Freddy ensures workouts are fun to do and not a pain. He is very friendly and his boxing sessions are out of this world. Through his boxing sessions, I feel empowered and it trains every part of the body which is a plus. I feel good every time I enter and leave the gym. #biggestfanofFreddy

The gym group is a good place to train, they have the best team. Always there to help you with whatever you need. I just have started to train with one of the PT, Fredery, and he definitely is the best because he helps you to get your own goals and for me the best is all the things and training techniques I am learning to do the excercises correctly.

For what you pay, it's a solid gym. Been to nicer ones but they come with a bigger price tag. First off it can get very busy, especially at peak times but that's mainly by virtue of it being right in the middle of a student/young professional area. If you're an early bird or work flexibly, you should have no problem using whatever you need. For me, the classes are a very big bonus and with no extra charge on top of membership for everything bar yoga. I have to name check Fredery for his Tabata Fit class on a Wednesday. He will take the time out to correct your form if it isn't quite right and is extremely motivating to get those last few reps out of you! He also brings a brilliant enthusiasm that starts you in the right mindset! 💪

Its always packed but its the only one in the fallowfield area so, there is no other choice if you gotta workout near by your house, well equipped, just wish the trainers were around more to help someone that didn't workout for almost 3 years and need to get used to it again. Although it's always full, you can train without problems. Edit: After 2 months training here, I've got to say that I love the environment! Stephen and Xeena are my favorites, even tho I don't have PT sessions with them they are always there to help. The classes are more than worth it! I do every class they have and I love each one of them. There are peak hours like every other gym, I'm looking forward to see how it will be in the summer.

This gym is the worst gym I've been too in a long time. I've tried going at different times throughout the day and it's so busy you have to wait 10-15 mins for a chance to get the equipment you want. That on top of the students who just talk and don't exercise in groups of 4-5 🙃.

The gym group uses a fraudulent payment company called Harlands for customer direct debits. I missed one payment and was charged a ‘fee’ which is more than my gym membership cost! They also threaten court action over not paying their fake fees. Please sign up with caution.

Great place to go and have to attribute this to the staff because no other Gym Group is like it! One trainer in particular is Moassab absolutely fantastic member of the Fallowfield team, I can confidently say part of the reason I have progressed the way I have and stayed motivated is down to the help and advice he has given me. He’s always friendly, always has a smile, and always preaching a positive attitude other Gym Group’s take note!

I use to go to this gym before 8months ago it was very food, so thought to rejoin again by seeing good reviews when I realised here. now the equipment is hard to get. They are not in proper organised way and toilets are too spell. The seats are ripped out, equipment cables are not good. All the lockers are damaged, treadmills are not in queue some of them don’t work at all. When some one paying £35 he obviously expect this all things. As they don’t care about this Gym anymore.

WORST, most FILTHY, PACKED and POORLY MANAGED gym in Manchester hands down! Never clean, never free equipment. Majority of members are rude students with little to zero knowledge of gym etiquette or hygiene for that matter 🤮 The Personal trainers (Minus Moassab) are vile horrible individuals. The main being a chap named Ciaran Connolly 🐷 (Looks about 60, PT'ing since he was 12... never made a quid though, maybe thats why he's so mad hmmmmm 🤔). He's the most UGLY, VILE looking CREATURE I've had the displeasure of laying my stunnin brown eyes on. He hates my guts because his chick stares at me in admiration, kinda like how a kid would look up at superman 🥰 Me and all my mates (WHO BTW HE ALSO STARES AT FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER!!!) agree he should just retire, He already looks way past retirement age (Silver Fox minus any of the good looks and charm). 🤢😷 But seriously though, he just stares at anyone who's not caucasion as if they are the worst low life criminals going! Even though he looks like he crawled out of a dumpster and wears the same clapped out brown ultrboost trainers since 2014, rumour has it they were originally white 🤫 In conclusion, if you're debating joing here due to it being local to you, spend the extra money on a bus pass to the cloesest pure gym!!! If you ever do decide to have all 5 senses rabidly attacked by attending the gym group in fallowfield... just know your boy said.... I TOLD YOU SO. 🫡🫡

Awful. Zero support. The app and website don't work when we try to change the home gym. They don't answer the emails. Not this particular unit necessarily, but the franchise's customer support was awful.

Really nice gym, affordable and it's really big so there's so much equipment you can use, there are three floors and big changing rooms. staff did a great job to maintain social distancing.

  • 3/5 Levente K. 3 years ago on Google
It's an okay gym, but it's almost always very busy, there isn't enough equipment and lots of people is not putting back the weights after they used them (this is not the gym's fault). I love other venues operated by the Gym groups but this is the closest plus this operates 24/7 even in these Covid times.

Really good gym, antibacterial spray and paper towels available to sanitize surfaces and generally there's decent equipment in the gym. Price isn't amazing and there are cheaper gyms with equipment just as good, overall 4/5

  • 1/5 liv 3 years ago on Google
Used to be good, I understand its hard with cover but every time I've been since signing back up ive not been able to do my work outs properly because equipment I need is being used, 8 matts out for the whole gym, queues out the door, just an inconvenience and a waste of money

I restarted my training after 5 months with my trainer simi. Simi spoke to me about my expectations and eased me back into my first session. Simi was very thorough with all the new guidelines due to the coronovirus . Simi made my first session thoroughly enjoyable ...she motivated me and introduced me to exercises which were challenging but not to strenuous. Im looking forward to resuming my sessions with her . I feel thoroughly motivated and supported by her

Overall good gym for the price, and what made it really enjoyable is the staff. Positive experiences with all of them, but particularly with Kub. He puts on amazing classes, is really dedicated to his clients and the people that take his classes and pushes you the extra mile. Started taking his classes and then progressed into having him coach me. In under 6 months he helped me lose fat and build muscle but also get comfortable with the weights room and lifting weights in general.

Decent gym with loads of equipment and the good thing is its 24 hour gym usual I come at midnight because its not to busy. The other positive thing about the gym is it has 3 floors so there plenty of space to workout if one of the floors gets too busy.

My experience was positive. friendly staff, clean gym in general, and has everything you need to be in shape. Rayhan my coach was professional, and he knows how to push you to archive your goals. It’s really a good place where you can improve and get fit.

  • 5/5 Nick D. 3 years ago on Google
I've trained here since the day it opened and have always had a positive experience. For the price it's amazing value, huge inside with a large range of equipment. Yes it can get busy at time but it does reside very close to the student accommodation so this is expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The car park isn't great but there's plenty on on street parking. The gym is also open 24 hours which is a huge bonus.

  • 4/5 Will S. 3 years ago on Google
They doing their best due to COVID. I just find it really frustrating that everytime I come there the machines have moved. Machines and equipment are really good considering the price too.

  • 2/5 Omar A. 4 years ago on Google
Pros: fairly big, alot of machines and new equipment. Really like the third floor for circuits and cardio training. 24 hour access. Free parking. Good location. Cons: too busy even at off peak times! Alot of people are probably using their mates codes and the Gym needs to crack down on this - perhaps introduce biometrics? Toilets not very clean. Some (not all) staff don't really seem that friendly Some of the people using the gym seem to be abit rude and obnoxious.

So oversubscribed you can't get on the equipment you want. Pointless waste of my time.

  • 5/5 H J. 4 years ago on Google
Friendly gym with a great atmosphere. What makes it stand out are the PTs, specifically Kub. He seems friendly when giving you advice on form and what exercises to do - however completely destroys you with his MetCon classes! Great way to start the day!

  • 5/5 Sharlene H. 4 years ago on Google
Easy to get to. Easy access. 24hours literally means 24hours so my working pattern and lifestyle no longer inhibits my Training. The staff are really friendly. Always a good vibe. Lots and lots and lots of equipment so even at its busiest, you still don't find yourself waiting around for something to become free. Enjoy the classes I do, specifically the Strength and Conditioning with Kub Dalkowski and Matthew Laurenson. And, here's the biggie!! Which other gym would actually create an additional class earlier in the morning, not on the timetable and free of charge, simply to accommodate its members who due to work start times find the 7am a bit of a challenge? This gym does and more specifically.....KUB DALKOWSKI does! My week now begins on a Wednesday!! He's nothing short of... Ace.com!

Started going to “the gym followfield” just over 6 months ago and everyone was so welcoming for a gym newbie👌🏼 I ended up meeting Edwin who has now become my personal trainer. He has really helped me get into shape with a large variety of HIIT circuits. Every workout is different and I’ve become so much stronger. I think he is a credit to the gym group as he has taught me things I would have never learnt alone. The details he puts into each workout make him stand out from the rest of the personal trainers. No two workouts are the same. I look forward to continuing my journey at the gym. So far it’s been a pleasure.

really clean and friendly environment which i’ve found to be super motivating !! i’ve trained with ed (one of the PTs) a few times and he was incredible- made my sessions really fun, but was still professional and even patient with me! owe a lot of my progress to him :)

  • 3/5 Fraz K. 4 years ago on Google
The gym itself is excellent, free weights, cardio machines, HIT equipment, machines are all brilliant. The issue is that it's too busy, there's a lot of waiting around to use equipment with weekdays being especially busy until late at night i.e. 9pm+. Stockport is far less busy and just as well kitted out.

  • 5/5 Akam A. 4 years ago on Google
Great gym, started my personal training program with Edwin, pushes me to my limit every time we have a session and is determined to leave the area that you’re working on in pain, for the best results and circuits Edwin is the PT that you need

Dead busy could hardly get on anything absolutely packed out

  • 3/5 M 3 years ago on Google
While it's a great value, clean and has new equipment. It's unfortunately the only gym in the area. It's packed with students especially at peak hours, it gets busy to the point there's no point going there between 3 to 10 pm. I wish they had more space and equipment especially cycling machines and chest/back machines.

  • 5/5 Liam K. 2 years ago on Google
Really good gym, open 24/7 so I get in early. The only thing I'd like is some punchbags for boxing and kickboxing practice.

  • 3/5 Eamonn G. 2 years ago on Google
A bit of a confusing layout, & I imagine that it would be difficult to get on kit at busy times. I trained @9:00am on a Bank Holiday Monday I was still having to share plates with other users on the lifting platforms. 6x20kg bumper plates shared between 2 platforms with people squatting & deadlifting on both platforms is not enough - management needs to double up on the 10's, 15's & 20's 👍

  • 1/5 George H. 2 years ago on Google
This is the most horrendous gym i have ever attended, 22 quid for a gym that i cant even breathe in. Limited equipment and non logistical set up. I cannot stress this enough, go to a different gym. Constantly busy with awful equipment.

  • 3/5 Sophie w. 3 years ago on Google
If you like going to the gym for the exercise classes then don't join. The classes are in the middle of the gym floor with people doing free weights and machinery around you. No privacy at all. You cant hear the instructor even though they have a mic on due to the loud music, not the best environment for a yoga class. There is lots of equipment which is a plus. But it is super busy all day every day so you wont always get to use what you want. Would highly recommend trying a day pass before entering a contract to see if its for you. Personal trainers and staff are extremely helpful!

I love that it's open 24 hrs so I can go at anytime. The manager Steve is really lovely, he always makes time to listen and to make changes. The rest of the staff are really nice too. It is a bit busy at certain times but if you avoid those times and go at a time when it's not busy its fine.

I’ve been going to fallowfield for a few years now, love the gym and it’ll always be my second home, specifically I started gym all thanks to MoassabPT before he was a personal trainer and until this day he still helps me with my lifts and gives very good tips. He also does a good job when he’s on shift as he’s always making sure everything in the gym is okay/tidy.

Great gym with a lot of equipment if busy , I would recommend coming before 4pm as we all know the big rush that follows in the evening. Overall a amazing gym with good people. Shout out Moassab, the PT there who everyone loves to talk to and is just a good guy that loves to help whenever.

I love the Fallowfield gym. It does get busier but I love the atmosphere and the people there. They treat me like family. The classes have always been my favourite especially the cardio blast, HIIT and legs bums and tums. The staff at the gym are always so welcoming especially Moassab. He’s always been so helpful whether that’s asking about certain exercises, during the classes or just in general he’s always happy to help.

This gym is awesome. The location is very convenient and it has a good social atmosphere. But one trainer in particular has made my experience even better - Moassab Gakhar. He is knowledgeable, friendly and can help take training to the next level. If anyone is looking for a good gym with a good community, and has an awesome trainer, this is the place to be.

I would like to start saying love the gym culture there. Everyone is active and just amazing to be around. A trainer there by the name of moassab honestly a great guy and a pt. Best person to go to for pt training in my opinion !

Really good gym with great staff. Particular shout out to Moassab who is my PT. He has helped me a great deal and I honestly would not have been able to make the progress I have without his help. His ability to be very attentive to what I need and also ensure that the workouts are tailored to maximise my results is something I have to commend. Would recommend him to others in a heartbeat

Great gym. Lots of equipment. I’ve been a member for a number of years. The staff are quite transient, but the current cohort are the best I’ve experienced. The managers - Steve and Jonny - are really good, as is Josh Lockhurst - one of the PTs. He’s extremely knowledgeable and personable and seems to take great pride in having a really tidy gym.

I have been training for almost 5 years at the Gym Group in Fallowfield and I always enjoy my training sessions there. The atmosphere and environment is great, the staff and PT's are extremely friendly and helpful too. I would like to give a special mention to Moassab Gakhar who is a PT there. He is an extremely friendly and welcoming member of the Gym Group, always looking to give helpful advice and to help less experienced exercisers including myself to improve my technique and form. I have know him for many years and he has helped a handful of members get stronger, healthier and build better lifestyle habits through his Personal Training service.

I started working out a couple years ago but with Covid I lost most of my progress and motivation. I then got into Volleyball but I defo wanted to get back into working out. In order to benefit both hobbies, I decided to hire a PT and Moassab did a great job! He was serious, I could see improvements over time and he was really approachable and always ready to help. The gym itself is very well equipped, main drawback is the size, given how many people go there, at time it might he hard to workout.

  • 5/5 Rebekah W. 9 months ago on Google

Great gym filled with great people and great personalities. As a wheelchair user everyone made me feel welcomed once I joined the gym. I have trained at many other gyms around Manchester but this was most definitely the most inclusive and sociable which brings a great lot to the culture and experience at this gym. Something that you don’t get at most other commercial gyms. I would also like to give a shoutout and praise to my now PT Moassab. He has made me feel alot more confident and comfortable with working out at the gym and attempting certain workouts. Prior to him joining the gym I had never benched a day in my life as I was not comfortable with it and did not think it was something I could do being a wheelchair user but he showed me that I could and I can now bench 100kg thanks to his PT sessions, help and inspiration.

The staff are very friendly and helpful (Shoutout to Mo Assab and Stephen), and they do a great job of keeping the place clean. Only negative is that as a result of all this, the gym is a busy place.
