My friend and I were looking for somewhere to eat and were glad to come across the most adorable, halal little diner. We went inside to find delicious hand made food, great drinks and great vibes. I had the nachos, which were very tasty and the Fried Chicken burger was as outstanding as I had expected it to be after seeing all the other good reviews. The diner also has a large selection of American drinks and milkshakes. If you want good service and good food then this is the place to go.

The restaurant itself is clean and has pleasant atmosphere. The food tastes good and the plating is lovely. I especially like fried chicken burger, very juicy and tasty. Servers and shopkeeper are very friendly. They have special offers for students: if you order a burger, you can get free fries and a drink. Overall, it’s a nice place to grab a burger. Recommended!

Really enjoyed our visit here today. The service to the food was brilliant! Burgers were very tasty and flavoursome. Had the Oreo milkshake and it was just 😋 A special thank you to the owner who took special care of our daughter. She throughly enjoyed the food and is usually so picky, so this definitely made my day Wish they open a branch in London!

This HALAL burger place is a hidden gem. The owner is friendly and welcoming as well as all the food being handmade. We got the chicken burgers with seasoned fries which were delicious. The only downside I would say is the portion of fries for £2.50 was not worth it. The food however was delicious overall. We also got onion rings which were a large portion that complemented the burgers well. Not to mention, if you want to try a different drink this is the place to go! They have imported drinks from all over such as different flavoured fanta drinks, coke flavours and many more. The owner also kindly gave us a sample of their milkshake flavour and I would definitely be back to try their other flavours because the milkshake was great!!

I had probably the best burger of my life so far. The place is also really nice with typical American diner outlook. Great customer service. Very polite, considerate and courteous. But most importantly it is wheelchair accessible and there's an accessible toilet too. Can't go wrong.

Mouthwateringly delicious halal burgers 🍔 Loved the interiors, designed tastefully (pun intended!) to feel like an all-American diner. It was a pre-birthday treat so tried the Challenge Burger!! Food was amazing, service was professional and courteous. Have made this the new favourite hangout.

He makes this food all hand made to perfection in my opinion. The food was made with care, and he is such a genuine nice man to top it off, thanking him greatly. The experience there was worth it, especially for moneys worth too, considering it’s my first time, he made a beautiful impression. We went Wednesday 5pm – surprised at how quiet it was (which was good timing for us), although it’s quite a busy place normally. Thank you again.

What a little gem this place was! Gorgeous burgers, fresh crispy fries, fab old fashioned milk shake. The service was amazing and prices some of the cheapest in Manchester. We could have got a better deal too if we had known they did student deals but these weren't advertised so we missed out. Some of the booths are looking a bit tired but apart from that I will definitely be visiting again and recommending it to people. I had a chilli burger which was cooked perfectly and my companion had the Mexican burger. And look at my bubblegum milkshake! Heaven!

My brother and I had a great bite to eat here. Very friendly, food was fresh and hot and plenty of it. Milkshake was delicious too!

Amazing little gem of a place to visit, never knew about this place but I saw it on Instagram. Saw the high reviews and thought I should check it out. It did not disappoint, food tasted amazing I could have easily had seconds. They have alot of drinks available some I have never seen before. This place deserves to be alot more bigger and popular. Next time im back in Manchester I will visit this place again. Forget Nandoes and Dixy's this is where you want to eat.

Burgers are made fresh, it may take awhile but it tastes super good! If you are a student, there’s a free burger upgrade to a meal! I would come again to try all other things on the menu, because it is that good! Hope to see Grand Daddy open in Singapore one day :)

A fantastic restaurant with great tasting, classic, American diner styled food and drink. The service was efficient and friendly and there was a great range of stuff to choose from.

Awesome little halal diner, which serves top quality food. I got a classic burger and others got the big burgers, all tasted amazing. But most of all, big up Eli! Such a cool guy that made our experience so much better. Definitely up there with the best service we've ever had at any restaurant.

It's a nice little burger joint tucked in a side road off the main road. The gentleman who served me, Elliot, was brilliant. Very polite and hospitable young man. The food was great, I got a grand daddy burger meal with water. This comes with 2 fried chicken pieces and a beef slice, watch the video, it's a pretty generous portion. Would recommend, the place. Some of the booths need renovation as I noticed the leather seating coming apart, but apart from that it was delicious. Would go again.

The server Ali is amazing. Really kind and caring towards customers, making sure we are enjoying the food. Giving us discount tickets! Please give Ali a pay rise! The food is flawless. My partner certainly enjoy her spicy chicken burger. "indescribable" she's said and just juicy as hell. The buffalo wings were the best I've had so far. Really lovely sauce and spices. I really recommend this place. The food is really cooked fresh and quality and taste is not compromised by the speed. Quick service. Truly will come again, but with more people next time.

Been here couple of times and the spicy chicken burger was juicy and bread is soft and fluffy The chicken just melts in the mouth and the juices in the chicken make uou feel out of the world. When i went first time i tried fried chicken that was good and spice chicken is best.

My friends and I wandered in at 9pm after a long day at a convention, and the guy running the place was an absolute star. Quick service, friendly conversation, and when there was leftover milkshake in the blender he told us to drink while we waited and he'd top us up with the spare. It looked like a nice place to eat in, but we got takeaway, with sturdy paper bags and separate boxes for everything. He even offered us a bag to carry some of our con purchases. The fries were solid and the shakes were delicious, but the real star here was the burgers. The Big Daddy was absolutely gorgeous, and I 100% recommend it. Juicy and filling but not greasy, flavourful but not overpowering. I also tried some of a Blue Cheese Heaven, which was really lovely. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Manchester, and I recommend anyone visiting to give it a try.

Wonderful buisness and the owners were so welcoming! Arrived at 11am on the dot when they opened and the owners were already set up and welcomed myself and my sister in ❤️ We grabbed our own seats and ordered at the till when we were ready. The lady at the till had to come back and tell us that the food we ordered was not ready to be served because that was one of the dishes that was not prepared quite yet since everything was made fresh to order. Not a problem at all, we changed the order and it was made within 20 minutes! We got an extra serving of specially made fries that were not on the menu for the inconvenience! The food was so fresh, delicious and the portions kept us full for ages afterwards too. I would highly recommend eating out here ❤️ The staff were lovely and attentive and made the effort to make us feel important and offered refunds for the difference in meals when there was an issue. The place was very quiet and I have no idea why because the food was great, the music was all classics like Elvis Presley and Tina Turner, the atmosphere was spot on for a classic style diner. I would love to see this place thrive!

Great shakes however, thought i try the Grand daddy burger looked really pale (possibly boiled?) and didnt taste too good. Mexican burger the tortilla chips possibly 3 inside if that. Loaded fries , the chilli con carne wasnt all that. Sweet potato fries were ok.

Absolutely fantastic diner and food! The owner is extremely helpful and friendly, and genuinely loves delivering a great experience. The food itself was delicious, very authentic - and we loved the milkshakes (especially the cinnamon bun one!) and the classic American fizzy drinks, we've recommended other people at the conference we attended to pay this place a visit whilst in Manchester - and would highly recommend it to everyone else too

Been in Manchester for the week with work and gave this place a try , ended up eating here 3 times in the week . Very friendly and welcoming staff and the burgers are top notch , not just an average burger gaff. I have a big appetite so my first visit I added an extra burger to my burger , totally unnecessary as they are big meaty burgers that really hit the spot . Onion rings are class aswell . If you are in the area and enjoy burgers give this place a try . Price is very reasonable for the quality. Place as a large selection of American drinks aswell

I’ve eaten better burgers in my life. This was pretty tasteless for £10, fries burnt. Staff friendly until my boyfriend said he doesn’t like the food. He left full burger and no refund was offered. I’d never come back and no recommend- there’re better places with higher value for the money.

Free fries and drink for students, perfect portion of burgers, wide selection, only 5 days in manchester, already twice being here. Big daddy is something else. Still the best burger in Manchester.
