Unbelievably shocking. Could tell that the food served was likley warmed in the microwave. The food was definitely not freshly made. The meat balls were small lumps of mince meat Even the bolognese had next to no meat in it. Only positive was that the food came in about 5 minutes but that's probably how long it took to heat up. Was literally an overpriced microwave meal.

Just about what can be expected from a chain restaurant. The food is average but the service and cleanliness is what lets this place down the most. Understaffed on a weekend lunch time which means that tables stay dirty, drinks take an age to be made& long wait to get any service. So many better places to go for Italian food nearby!

My sister and I visited here before a show. She had a voucher from work that she wanted to use that allowed us to order from a set menu. The food was great, apart from the aranchini balls (they seemed a bit greasy). The service was also really good. The only bad thing was we were told at the end that we couldn't give a tip on our cards but we didn't have cash since noone (including them) is accepting cash anymore. We felt a bit bad but we were going to a theatre show and wouldn't have had time to go to a cash machine and come back. Definitely would go back here in the future.

First visit. Really busy city centre restaurant. The food was really excellent.

Quite simply the worst ever experience I’ve had not just with Zizzi but “eating” in a restaurant! Had a table for 4 people pre-booked arrived in time, ordered drinks, ordered food and then waited for over an hour until we questioned where food order was. Was told would be 4 minutes. Still nothing after 20 minutes so chased again and was told our order hadn’t been passed through to kitchen re-ordered and told would be 10 minutes. Only 3 items eventually turned up with 1 starter. Told waitress to cancel remaining item (pizza) asked to see the manager (for a third time) and told was too busy. Didn’t pay for food or drinks which didn’t make any difference to a shockingly bad experience where the part order of food took 2hrs to serve! The WORST experience ever!

1st time to zizzis for my girlfriend's BD. They noted all my requirements and were extremely kind and attentive, especially Laura who even joined in with the BD song. My only disappointment was my gfs dish was spicy even tho Laura did request it not to be but that was the chefs fault. No biggy as I got more food to eat!

Terrible service, it started off okay. Then the staff were clearly stressed and any time we asked for something which we hardly did. Literally asked for cutlery because they just put the food down on the table an walked away without saying anything. Then they seemed annoyed we asked as if we was inconvenient. We didn't want to ask for anything and felt uncomfortable. I understand restaurants are busy but the attitude was so bad. The starters didn't taste good and they bought us the wrong food. The main was okay. Also there was dirty plates all around us right next to us and we was eating, they just walked past the plates we had for the starter an left them on the table. Even when they put the main on the table they just left the plates. Actually was shocked.

Never been here before, and what have I been missing, the food was lovely from the starter to the main, I was stuffed by the time we had finished, we had from the Christmas menu, 3 courses, will definitely go a zizzi again.

Visited this place for dinner on a Monday. We ordered a portion of garlic bread, smoked mushroom risotto and smoked salmon with fresh prawns hand made pasta. The food was excellent. The portion size was very good and so was the pricing. However, i felt the service from the kitchen was a little slow as the restaurant wasn't very busy and had three staff in FOH and 2 in the kitchen. But nevermind, will still visit again next time to try some pizzas and tiramisu.

To be fair the place was very busy. We arrived at 16.35 and did not get our mains until 17.55. We shared a garlic bread starter. I had to pay £1.75 to have 8 olives on my pizza, £1.75 for 6 meatless meatballs and £1.75 for a pinch of sliced mushrooms threw on one piece of my pizza. Not worth the money imo. The vegan lasagna was lovely but not worth the hour long wait! Very disappointing.

Went for tea with my daughter, I has a risotto and my daughter had gluten free pizza. We ordered chips flavoured with salt and rosemary - they arrived plain. The waitress took them away and they came back with some sprigs of rosemary chucked on the top. Not very impressed and not tasty. A shame really as the rest of the food was lovely.

The owners should consider more staff, as the people working when we were there were clearly rushed off their feet. One of our drinks was forgotten and took 15 mins to arrive AFTER we prompted them. They also didn't ask how our meal was, and didn't ask us about deserts. We also had to chase someone to get them to take payment. I don't blame the staff, who were all doing their best, their bosses need to provide more help.

Lovely ,tasty food, drinks a little pricey but that's Manchester I guess. You can only pay by card and there was already a suggested tip amount keyed in which was able to be changed but uncomfortable to do so as the waitress was stood over me. ( Clever touch there Zizzi) overall, it was enjoyable.

I had vegan meatballs and Pan-fried fish bass and it was peng and I had a strawberry mocktail which was alright and I had a brownie honeycomb pizzette which was filling My brother had gluten free bolognese and gluten free sundae and passion mocktail Service lacking even considering there were like 5 staff on. Need to do check backs as I heard conversation on other table of woman complaining about her food but choosing to be silent

Went to Zizzis with a couple of my old friends as we had heard great reviews about it. I am quite a picky eater so I ordered a beef meal. Can’t quite remember It now but I have attached a picture below. We had an amazing time. Courteous staff, prompt service and there were enough chairs to sit in.

Lovely large venue on piccadilly. Friendly staff and massive pizza. Tried 2 different pizzas and both were lovely. They gave some complimentary snack whiles waiting, I didn't like the flavour of that. The pizza is massive but really stretched so you are prob eating the same quantity of dough as a standard pizza. I have eaten at other zizzi & this was just as nice

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and pizzas delicious 😋 Amazing catering for celiac, Spanish exchange student and so extremely stressful. Staff so reassuring and Gluten free sticker on food totally reassured her, thank you! She even popped the sticker on herself and has kept it. She was so excited to eat pasta out, helped make a great impression

First time at zizi a couple weeks back, service was excellent, food was great, other than the dessert which I didn't eat, but they took this off the bill without me asking and wouldn't let me pay for this. Place is beautiful as well

Food was gorgeous but staff were sadly lacking, this could be because they were a bit stressed with the dortmund fans I don't know. Everything I tried to order was off the menu but we weren't told that when we sat down, we finished our mains and asked for a desert menu, 10 minutes later I asked again as it wasn't given to us the waitress then stood over us until we ordered, again what I wanted wasn't available, ordered 2 coffees but only 1 arrived, I'm not sure if it was the music too loud or the football fans distracting the staff but it was just off, however as I said at the start the food was fantastic.

Typical overpriced tourist trap in city center. Not really worth it and food not good.

this is the most ridiculous thing in my life, food are delicious, but the service is sucks. When I'm eating there are 2 guests sat beside our table, then one of the waitress was trying to put a tomato sauce on their table, unfortunately the sauce was spill over, all of my clothes, t-shirt, pants, jacket, shoes were dipped by the sauce. instead of apologizing, the waitress just came here and asked me if I needed any wet tissues. and I reported this for at least 4 times, no clerks in the restaurant wanted to take responsibility to this disaster. also, I told them about the spilled sauce on the ground, no one wanted to clean it. that is the most terrible experience, I have in my life, and I won't come back ever.

A beautiful restaurant with 2 floors of seating and cosy decoration! The staff are very hard working and friendly! Service was relatively quick even for a busy evening. The food was delicious, and I can recommend the cheesy garlic bread, rustic pizzas and also the raspberry and mint cooler for a drink. For desert I very much enjoyed the lemon cheesecake!

We booked in advance, as soon as we entered they asked about any dietary restrictions/allergies that we might have. After disclosing my gluten sensitivity, they offered us a gluten free menu and an allergen folder. After ordering, they had an allergy alert on their kitchen screens, so that the chefs are aware. Overall, they were so understanding and meticulous about allergens. We ordered a GF Pure Pepperoni pizza and a standard Margherita. I would recommend them to all, they were extra delicious 😀 Keep it up, guys!

Had to wait for our reserved table as it had not been cleared. Food was alright, nothing special, however, the mocktails were delicious.

Decent restaurant, good service. However food could be improved. The herb rolled pork belly was quite a disappointment. Skin around pork was not crispy. Hardly any green vegetables, only a small clump of spinach.

I was happy in the end but my first plate of main course was described as chicken breast but was just pieces of chicken and not much at that! But in fairness the waiter did bring a bigger peice of chicken and an ample portion of food, it filled the gap but the pasta dish with a mushroom sauce was passable but not exceptional, found it hard to relax too with the noise of clanging pans from the kitchen as if the chef was throwing them around in frustration. My wife seemed happy enough with her dish. I was satisfied with my desert of a chocolate pudding. Service was good food average, would I go again? Probably not.

The complimentary snack was well debatable, but I had a wonderful time with my sister there. We both were exhausted after spending the day in the heat. The salmon was delicious. If only the air conditioning was working we would have spent a few hours in there. I do recommend for the price of the drinks for them to come in larger glasses. But overall a wonderful day and will go there again sometime in the future.

The pastas were good, but the panfried seabass tasted more like regular fish and chips. Unfortunately it was not as good as expected

Lovely atmosphere, staff were very pleasant. Food was fresh and hot. Remember to join their club, that will get you free garlic bread on your first visit. Check wowchers and Groupons for extra savings.

Staff were friendly and food was good. Ordering and menu accessible via QR code, making it efficient to order. Was hard to get the attention of staff as most were training. I highly recommend the Tiramisu for dessert, it was delicious!

Started with calamari. Undercooked and not crispy enough for me and not a lot of dip. Had the pork belly roll, pork was ok but not much taste in the rest of the dish. Wife had sea bass, fish was dry and had to ask for garlic sauce, not much taste in the rest of the dish - fries and carrots and a tiny piece of spinach. Had sweet potato chips as a side, served with no dip - again had to ask. Waitress was fine. Environment fine, toilet clean.

Staff were polite but not trained properly. I had to wait for reception . When I ordered , she came back after 5 min and said the dish is not available . So I had to order again . Stsrter and main course arrived together . OK but could be better .

The concept of the salad was good but I literally spent the entire meal separating the very old, soggy salad leaves. Salad leaves should not be served when past their date and good looks. I did mention it to the waitress and told her that in my home I would not serve it, but had no feedback from the kitchen other then odd looks from staff toward our table. Looked more like the salad that is bought from the reduced section in the supermarkets. And there was no lift to get to toilets which are downstairs. It’s a not again from me!
