Great place to pop in for food and drinks before an event. Drinks are good and quick to arrive, and the soft drinks were brilliant value with the soda and lime being only £1 for a large glass. The food was tasty and plentiful. Our table asked for mayo which didn't come but wasn't a huge problem as the meals came with other sauces. Appreciate we visited on a Saturday evening, but did find music a little loud so was having to talk really loudly to hear each other. Would happily visit again.

Really nice pub with good options for food. Especially for vegan food, I had their vegan bbq chicken burger and loved it. Their cocktails are great too, I had one with bubblegum and my friend had something with peach. Prices were a bit high but other than that no complaints. Staff was really nice and friendly.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Staff were polite but my meal was terrible. Chicken and bacon Caesar salad with no chicken (sent back, waited ages, to then have some weird crispy but soggy chicken added, and then no bacon… I gave up as we were in a rush and really hungry so just ate it. No discount offered at all. How hard can it be to include the 2 main ingredients. Very disappointing…food made by someone with no clue.

Brilliant for an office Christmas party. We had a fairly large group, with lots of last minute changes, Revolution and especially Molly were so incredibly helpful! The food was great and they even helped us turn the money from one of the cancelled places into a bar tab. Absolutely outstanding service and we had a great time!

We booked a Christmas party at Revolution Oxford Road. Lovely staff and great venue. However, we finalised how many people would attend/be eating a week before the party (66 people) and the amount of food served was definitely not enough for what we paid for. People did not have major portions and those who turned up late who had paid expecting food could not have any as there wasn’t any left. Vegan options were also not as described on the website. Disappointing.

Me and my partner came for afternoon tea and cocktails for Valentine’s Day. The place was very quiet when we arrived. We thought you was able to pick from standard, vegan or vegetarian when having the afternoon tea however the waiter brought it over without asking us anything about it. Luckily enough we was able to scrape the sauces off the food however we would have preferred it without the sauces. The food was very juicy and tasty. The waiter who was serving us for our time at revs we friendly however he came across as he was new when we questioned him about the cocktails he said he didn’t know which cocktails we could have with the afternoon tea and told us to choose any. Overall a good experience and something unique to do on valentines

Went for pre-booked bottomless brunch and had a great time! Service was fantastic, drinks & food were delicious. Atmosphere was great, music was just loud enough so we could have a conversation. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon

I went to revolution twice and everytime it gives me suprise. The first time I went there because MUAS held a karaoke activity there and I was suprised by their friendly bartender and their awesome drinks. I was not too hungry that day so I tried a corn dog, it was delicious! Since then I want to try make it myself but because I am so lazy so I give up this idea. Second time I went there was because I tant to celebrate the end of exam season with my friend. We had some really good time singing in the bar and tried some weird drink--I would never try that again, I paid for my curiousity. Every flavor was a torture to me but that is because we ordered "weird and wonderful" collection. ALL NORMAL DRINKS ARE GREAT. I would definatly recommend this place to my friends.

The food was worth the money With drinks at reasonable price

Service was pleasant at all times but seemed rushed for such an early on visit. Cocktails were amazing and well presented as were the grazers however both chicken and beef burgers were overcooked and dry.

This Revolution is offering £2.99 meals at the moment. Just simple food but great price if you are looking for a bargain. Hopefully it will get better with more customers. Go check it out.

Staff were lovely I realised there was no vegan cheese pizza option on app but the man working said he would check and was able to put through an order for us! Was very happy as I just arrived in Manchester and was very hungry and didn’t wanna leave to go find another place for food! We ended up staying for drinks after as well

Across two different visits there were two quite different experiences. The first visit was during the evening, we had a great gentleman help us since the app wasn't working correctly. Sorted out our food order and was friendly each time he brought drinks around, talking to us about stuffed animals and stuff. Our second experience was for lunch, we ordered on the app and just ordered fries. While other two other tables (that came in after us and were being given gift bags) were getting their food ahead of us, we waited over half an hour just to get one small portion of fries.

Drinks were very well made but the floor was rather wet. The atmosphere was lacking for a Revolution Bar but that might be in comparison to others I've been to.

Went here for a pre show (Heathers The Musical at the Palace Theatre) drink and meal with my wife and daughter. I bought an online Groupon deal for burger or pizza with choice of cocktail for 2, cost £25 which was good value. My daughter picked some stuff of the main menu, had a non alcoholic cocktail and a lemonade which cost around £20. So in total £45 for all 3 of us I thought was good value. The food was nice and tasty, the cocktails were great and the staff were amazing. It's a lively venue and you get a good mix of people, it was busy when we went but the staff are very good and keep the cocktail orders flowing, whilst taking the food orders. We visited around 5pm onwards and it was a perfect venue and location for the Palace Theatre which is just across the road, about a 2 min walk. A special mention to the lady behind the bar, I think she was the Manager, she worked her socks off. From making cocktails, taking food orders and sorting any small problems, she was fabulous.

Great vibe and friendly staff. We went for the bottomless brunch and although drinks took a while to come, we still had a great time. Would like to thank Catherine and Morgan in particular for their great service! Would definitely come again!

The BEST revs. Great service, warned us of potential long wait on food, but it came quicker than that anyway. Lovely bar staff. 10/10, will definitely be back!

Food and drinks were really nice. Cool location and atmosphere. Only negative for us was de ordering on the bar or online. Would prefer if they would come to table when you are ordering tons of food and drinks.

My sister got an afternoon tea voucher and brought me along with her. When we arrived it was completely empty so it was nice and quiet if a little awkward. The food was a bit of a let down, except the cookie (but they bought it out with main so was a melted mess by the time we ate it) but the cocktails were nice. The staff were both lovely and it was clean

No toilet roll in any of the ladies, very loud but good fun

Came here for drinks on a Sunday afternoon. They now use a contactless app system to order drinks which makes things a bit easier as you don’t have to leave the table.

Waiting for daughter outside....students obviously enjoy the place regardless of how late it was (as an 'oldie' I remember those times🙂😉)...just hope they keep safe!

Went here for a cocktail making experience as part of a hen do recently. Henry was our bartender and involved us all in the fun experience, I was lucky enough to not have a chilli shot! Will definitely recommend this and hopefully will do this again.

Way too loud, couldn't even hear myself think, could hardly speak to the bartender about what drink I wanted because of the noise. One of my friends also got told to wear his cap backwards which was weird, if you're anything like me then this definitely won't be the right vibe for you.

Bottomless brunch was fantastic plenty drinks and no waiting when glass was empty! Food was amazing! Heather the barmaid is an absolute credit so friendly and helpful 5 stars for her alone. Well recommended, will defo be back 👍

bar man spiked me, passed out, but it was great because the police help me when i was throwing up in the middle of the road almost getting hit by cars. would definitely recommend just make sure you’re with some friends who can carry you to bed and sit with you while you throw up for 5 hours after being spiked. xxxx

Visited back when we all you could do in bars was sit and bum shuffle in your seats because #Covid. Still had a fantastic atmosphere, drinks were on point and so was the music. For those of us that enjoy a good Revs.

Excellent place, we went for a mixology cocktail class, when we got there at 2pm we were joined by 10 other couples all on the same class, by the end of the time we were all chatting away like we've known each other for ever. We went upstairs to a private bar with cocktails and shots lined up waiting for us. Dan the bartender was great and showed us the different measures and glasses. We were asked to pick our favourite cocktails to make, We went for the ones with the most alcohol in, mine was the Zombie and Lorraine chose the Long Island ice tea. Dan pointed to the spirits and mixers and helped us through. BIG TIP when the measures full don't stop let it overflow OMG best Zombie ever must admit though I looked like a Zombie later that afternoon. So everyone else in the class took turns to make their cocktails (anything off the menu) and our next cocktail we had to make blindfolded and our partner had to tell us were the ice and bottles were. After we had all done the blindfold cocktails we had more shots then it was down stairs for a 3 course meal, which unfortunately as I was now in a near state of Zombie only had a few slices of pizza and was looking forward to the burger sliders and corn. So I will have to make a return trip and have them another time. It may of been a bit early to get drunk but hey it was a great after noon, made some lovely friends and Dan was definatley 'The Man'

An excellent night with great staff. We had attended a private party upstairs, the room was a good size with great atmosphere. Food served was delicious and the staff looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend this place for a function.

I went here a couple of weeks ago for a travel industry event. Although the event was fine, the food (or most of it) arrived stone cold. In fairness, the staff were very apologetic and brought us (hot!) new portions (and even some extra portions!) however the overall experience slightly marred things hence a star knocked off.

Always a fun spot to go for a drink, great cocktail deals if you're looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. Staff are always very friendly. Could do with a bit of a refurb to freshen it up.

The food was cold and the waitress was rude when I informed her. A reheated plate with no apology or any comment was just put in front of me 10 minutes later. The chicken was awful and inedible once it had been reheated. 1 star for awful food and terrible service!

Lunch date with my 2 daughters. I enjoyed the cocktails and my daughters enjoyed their mocktails too! Food and service is excellent!

Door guys made up some weak excuse about a well dressed friend having cuffed pants (not listed in their code) and refused entry. Many other less pigmented folks seemed to have no trouble getting in without following the supposed dress code. Also why does this place even have a dress code, it's like a dimly lit Nandos.
