Friendly staff and the strawberry mojito was bangin’ but the food was so overpriced for the amount received and for the quality of food. I’m a massive lover of steak but I was not impressed with mine. The steak was £25.99 (that doesn’t include any sides or sauces) and it was nothing that made me think ‘wow’. The food was a let down for the price payed. The size, taste, quality, all could be better. There is also a 10% service charge. Would I recommend this place? No, I wouldn’t. Asian businesses need to stop charging stupid prices for steak. It should not be as expensive as it is.

Ate here over two days and was greeted with a warm welcome each time. I'd recommend: - starter platter for 2 (this contains 2 buffalo ribs, 2 chicken wings, 2 prawns + a bread and goats cheese thingy - was nice) - buffalo ribs main (4 pieces) - beef steak + peppercorn sauce - mojito mocktail Servers are efficient and do a good job in bringing food on time/taking back used plates/bring extra food when ordering more and tidying up tables. However, I did feel the waiters were hovering around 80% of the time so it felt a bit intrusive as if you're being constantly watched over. I feel like the knives used to cut the steaks can be made a bit sharper so it's easier to cut through the steak. Pricey but good for a treat. You can find their menu/prices on their website. I didn't appreciate the loud music. They accept American Express (Amex), the food is halal and no alcohol is served. May God bless this establishment and keep it upon goodness.

We came here yesterday and we were so impressed with the overall experience. The customer service was fantastic, thank you to the man who made us feel comfortable and had a good laugh with (didn’t catch his name, but the owner I presume). The barbecue ribs were exceptional! We got a portion with just spice and one original and loved both, I highly recommend it! It’s definitely worth the price.

Great service and great food. I had the t-bone which was great and the mrs had the sirloin, tried a bit of hers and yes it tasted better than mine 🤣 but both were still fabulous. We also got some of the ribs which were absolutely amazing never had ribs like that before highly recommended if you go. Shout out to Asif a great guy who made us as comfortable as he could for a great dining experience. Keep up the great work 👍🏾

Absolutely Loved my visit to Rump N Ribs Steakhouse. We visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy. Luckily we were given a table so I would definitely recommend booking next time. FANTASTIC FOOD - Enjoyed the Ribs as starter and steaks were cooked perfectly! Even the sides and the mushroom sauce was full of flavour. Will definitely be visiting again when I travel up to Manchester again. EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. A Big Thanks

All in all not a great experience, ribs were ok but the steak was sub standard and had some really rare bits which was off-putting. Second time here but won't be making a third visit for sure. Even the mocktail was like a mix of cheap juices.

Absolutely amazing food. The Buffalo Ribs are finger licking delicious and so tender that you can't lift one piece more than 3 inches. Literally melts in mouth. I asked for medium rare fillet steak and it was perfectly done to my liking. Asif , the manager, was very helpful and he treated us like we were their special customers. I was not sure about this place but I can say now, this place has the best Beef Ribs I have ever tasted. 100% coming back here and highly recommended to others. Thanks again Asif.

Well impressed with the ambiance, the ribs were off the charts complemented with the perfect bbq sauce, The Angus burger well still wondering why I paid extra for cheese a bit annoying but the brioche was welcomed, the burger size and taste 8/10 which is pretty high loved it, it’s a shame they use frozen steak cut chips, it would have been great to have some freshly cut triple cooked chips…. But no, as for the service…..needs to improve had no check back on my table, even had to ask the the waiter to bring me more water when my glass was near empty and then I’ve got a pay a service charge for this? This should be completely voluntary not mandatory! Bonus they had Encona my favourite sauce.

The food and the service are really good. The buffalo ribs are amazing. The steaks are not extraordinary but taste good. I really enjoyed the classic mojito drink too. I think the ambience of the place can be improved. It felt a bit cramped. Great experience overall.

I've been twice and will go again. Food is consistently very good, and the ribs are particularly amazing. Great portion sizes - I recommend 1 main and 1-2 side(s) for an adult. Steak was well cooked and seasoned both times served with a nice sauce but unfortunately got a fatty cut the 2nd time. "Seasonal Vegetables" is boiled carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. Atmosphere can be a little loud with the phone at the entrance and cutlery/dishes/drinks being done near tables but overall very very worth it. If you like ribs, it is a must-try.

Absolutely amazing, steak was perfect with the peppercorn sauce. Mash was a bit bland but they give salt and pepper on the side which is great. they also give those hand wipes which is great for after eating sticky ribs. So yum highly recommend and I will be going back. UPDATE: Went back another time, food was great. My only complaint is that the waiters tend to hover around you. There were 4 waiters standing right next to our table which made it a bit awkward to eat and have conversation with your dinner date as the waiters were literally right there. The place is pretty small so it feels like there’s too many waiters around. Appreciate they’re trying to do good service but it’s a bit overkill having 4 waiters in the same section.

I've been here several times, those buffalo ribs for starters and the t- bone steak are the best in town, don't need anything else. I did notice the workforce, were quite attentive and always served with a smile. Big boss quickly arranged a table for us in the corner as there was only 2 of us on the visit., also have tiny room to pray in the back which was an added bonus. See you again soon.

Although it had some chewy bits, the ribs were very tender and flavourful. The T-Bone was just right, juicy and tender and the mushroom sauce complemented it well. The prawns were great and the overall service excellent. We were promptly seated and served. Highly recommended.

Very nice food and good portion sizes to reflect the price. Be aware that sides and steak sauce is not included in the price. The service is fast- we are all done with starter and mains after about an hour. Will definitely be back.

First time visiting here. Ordered the Rib Eye steak. Like most steak places the sauces and sides were separately priced but the overall cost wasn’t too bad. The steak was decent but the presentation really made us doubt it. Looked really plain and boring. They also charge a discretionary service charge of 10% which I find wrong. The service was nothing special, wasn’t even as good as most basic restaurants. Waiter came, took order, left, gave food, cleared plates, isn’t that what most restaurants do anyways without a service charge?? If there was banter and theatricals like Etçi then fair play, makes sense but nowhere close. Parking is a nightmare but that’s nothing to do with the restaurant so be aware you might have to park far or wait till a spot becomes a single. As we did enjoy the food, we will be definitely giving this place a try sometime in the future.

Great steaks, great starters, cooked they way you want, nice staff and host. Nice prawn starters, absolutely tender, falling off the bone juicy BBQ ribs, and tasty medium rare cote de boeuf 16oz steak. Edit: 9/9/23... went down again today after several months, and quite simply I have to say, today was THE best cooked and best tasting côte de boeuf🥩😋 I ever had. I can't get over how good it was.

The ribs are just the best!! Can’t wait to come back again Great service from staff and the personal touch from the manager Asif and appreciated his recommendations as we enjoyed the fillet too. Drinks were great, overall 10/10 Gave us a voucher for desserts next door, but we just didn’t have space! Next time hopefully! Be sure to book before you go, as it’s a busy place and you know why

Turned up without a reservation but the brother managed to squeeze me and my wife in which we really appreciatted as we heard good things about the place. Honestly food was really good. Cooked both our steaks right which you would be suprised some places still get wrong but they did it right. Only downside is where we are used to having steak come with sides and sauce, they charge seperately here so be aware. Otherwise i highly recommend. Thank you for the hospitality Rump N Ribs. Will visit again soon In sha allah and next time we will make a reservation lol.

Just visited this place with my family! Absolutely amazing. I can't fault it at all. One thing is, you need to book a table as it's so busy. Staff are so helpful and polite. The waiter discussed items from the menu with us. The food came out fast and it was all so delicious. I just hope they open a place in Glasgow. Can't wait to visit again

The mix starter was lovely, ribs were tasty. Steak was thick but taste was average - nothing to rave about. Steak chips were great. Ambience was 0. The lighting is not warm and the waiters were just hanging around in front of our table chatting which was a little uncomfortable. Our order was taken by a lovely lady and she was great and explained it all well compared to the rest of the waiters who provided service without a smile. For the price you pay, you might expect just a little more ambience or just something a little extra. I'd come back for the ribs but not the steak.

Rump n Ribs is a halal steakhouse in Manchester! The Sirloin steak was pretty good, seasoned well, and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes were also pretty good, with a creamy texture. The ribs at Rump n Ribs were simply amazing! They were doused in flavorful BBQ sauce and cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender that it could be shredded, and it truly exceeded our expectations. According to some research, their meat comes from Aberdeen cows. Overall, I highly recommend Rump n Ribs for their outstanding ribs and decent sides. And another plus is that it doesnt serve alcohol!

Amazing experience. Booked weeks in advance and when I arrived I was seated instantly. The service was good and food came very promptly and fresh on a busy Saturday night. Food was very tasty and perfectly cooked steak for both parties. If they ask if you want the steak spicy I’d recommend saying no 😂. The £8.50 service charge was hefty I won’t lie but happy to pay when the experience is good. Overall as far as a halal steakhouse goes, food prices were fair, atmosphere was good and food was great. Would definitely recommend,

The chicken was excellent but the cook on the beef could be better. I do understand it is difficult on such a cut so I cut them some slack. But the service and hospitality was amazing.

Enjoyed the ribs and Angus burgers. Not needed to wait for seating. Quick service. A bit loud in restaurant. Parking available near by.

I have been a regular customer for several years, when i need a reliable steak, meaning good size, great taste, cooked exactly as specified, and absolutely rapid service. The staff are extremely freindly and pleasant. Highly recommend sirloin and ribs and supreme chicken.

Starters were lovely, especially the beef ribs (meat just falls off the bone) and chicken wings. Steak was tender and perfectly seasoned. Service was excellent, however they do add a 10% service charge on the bill which they should inform customers that it is optional.

I’ve been to this place three times now and I can’t get enough of the ribs! So soft and juicy, full of favour and tasty. The steak has great flavour. The service is very fast especially since we went during Ramadan. They also served samosas and dates to break our fast, which was great.

We started with buffalo chicken wings and ribs. Under normal circumstances I would not order ribs but these came very well recommended by the niece. The ribs did not disappoint! They were cooked to fall off the bone and cooked to perfection. Ribs are definitely recommended for anyone who likes or does not like ribs … they are that good! The steak was cooked perfectly as requested. Overall experience was amazing which was added by Asif, Stacy and the rest of the Rump and Rib team I am from London but this restaurant has been booked in for my next trip to Manchester Larry the Little Lamb

By far one of the best steakhouse restaurants there is in the UK. The bbq ribs are so tender, flavoursome and I don’t particularly go for bbq sauce dishes but these ribs tasted unreal! The creamy mash and mushroom sauce completed the meal. Recommend you try this place. The man at the door made us all laugh and feel very welcome even after the Liverpool jokes. He managed to get us a table considering they were busy, we didn’t wait long neither. Would definitely come again soon. :)

The manager was accommodating enough for us to have a post mother's day celebration without any reservations.The food especially the meats (the 16 oz T-bone, 10 oz sirloin, ribs and the Aberdeen Angus burger) were all amazingly succulent and cooked the way we liked it also including the grilled halloumi cheese salad. The soup of the day which was creamy mushroom soup was a bit bland, not tasting much of any mushrooms with an overpowering cream. The caramelised onions were a bit burnt as it tasted bitter and not sweet as it was supposed to. They got over zealous staffs very eager in taking our plates away despite of us not finished with our food yet.I found it very awkward with staff standing a meter away from our table, I guess that was the perk of not having an advanced booking as our table was just in front of the pass through kitchen window, we could have stayed longer and try out (for the 1st time) their non alcoholic cocktails... Rump N Ribs Steakhouse is not suitable for people using wheelchair and mums and dads with kids using prams, as wheelchairs and prams are not allowed inside the restaurant as clearly posted on their main entrance.
