I think this restaurant is quite expensive provided its food quality is just about average in my opinion. We had 3 Tastets and 1 Catalan Style rice, 2 drinks and it’s over 90 pounds. I think the Bravas potatoes is not crispy enough, it was quite soggy with the sauce on top. The pork ribs & mushroom rice, half the pork ribs was fat and very salty, we were quite disappointed to have chosen this restaurant, with the money we paid I think we could have a more satisfying dinner elsewhere.

Great and delicious Spanish foods, the seafoods are so fresh. Lovely and friendly staff, nice place for dinner and lunch! There's both downstairs and upstairs table both with great views, inside is spacious and beautifully decorated with many and various option of foods and drinks, the toilet is upstairs it very clean and pretty and there's also some private room suitable for business dinner.

It was OK but not worth the price Some of the dishes were really good and some were not £40 for 2 plates of rice was ridiculous Service was really slow El gato a couple of doors down is miles better

Arrived here for lunch on a weekend. It was relatively quiet but it was good to see that they still had a lot of staff and offered good customer service. The dishes are best shared and I would recommend around 6-7 dishes between two people. The food came out as and when, but all arrived relatively quickly. While the restaurant advertises itself as traditional Catalan food, the menu suggests otherwise. Some of the dishes we ordered (like the beef brisket bao buns and the mussels with Thai flavours) certainly has some influences from other cuisines. And if I'm honest, while not terrible in any way, those two dishes above were probably their weakest dishes. Their standout dishes were their Iberian Ham Croqueta and Duck Egg - Baby Squid & Tartar Sauce. And while you can't really go wrong with Padron Peppers, they still tasted really nice. All in all, it was around £90 for two people including a couple of drinks. While a little on the pricey side for a lunch, it was expected for the amount of dishes we ordered.

Enjoyed the grilled octopus and our waiting staff did a great job with recommendations. Overall, the dishes didn’t blow us away, would not pay on my own dime. The duckin donuts dish was unique but not to our taste. Did not enjoy the meats on the mixed charcuterie board as much as we would have liked.

Bringing the flavors and aromas of home to Manchester. A welcoming atmosphere, and really nice personnel, creates the perfect space to enjoy dinner or lunch. We started with the Duck'in donut, with some pan tomaca, clams with garlic and parsley, croquetas and the Duck egg, which was over the top, very creamy in the inside. For main we ordered a Mushroom rice, that was an explosion of flavors, and I can say is one of the bests I have ever tried. We finished with a chocolate coulant filled with dulce de leche and the Xuixo filled with coustard, which I was surprised to find is imported from Girona from Xuixos Castello. Highly recommend ordering the croquetas, Duck egg and Xuixo. In my opinion, Tast is a must go restaurant in Manchester.

Went in for a quick lunch. Service was good from the beginning till the end. Lovely atmosphere for couples. Not a big fan of the food, the chair is more like a bar stool which I personally very dislike. £56 for 2 people, we didn’t order any drinks.

Was here as part of Mancity pre-match hospitality. Decent food, easy to get to, would recommend to come early as the food will take some times to serve. Hence can go the stadium earlier and watch the player warm up 😅

Tast was lovely, the staff were all so nice and friendly. Sadly, not the best Tapas I have ever eaten, it was still nice, however for the cost, I’ve had much nicer. It’s 100% worth trying though.

Everything that came out was perfect. Ordered some dishes I typically wouldn’t to try something new and it was all perfectly prepared. Great flavours and really exemplary service. Lovely views from upstairs as well.

Have been several times now and there is a good reason for this. Just can't fault it, fantastic tapas, service and wine. Very attentive service and a no rush chilled out experience...Will be back

Really enjoyed the overall experience yesterday Friday 23rd of June. Each of the dishes was very tasty with the exception of our burnt basque cheesecake which had a grainy texture and in our opinion was under cooked. If quality is of the highest importance then consistency in cooking and presentation is paramount. Would I go back again. Yes, certainly but maybe miss the desserts altogether.

Lovely atmosphere and service, with lots of nice outdoor seating. However, the food was disappointing! We went to Tast a few years ago and loved it, but having gone again this weekend, it seems to have gone downhill. Portions were very small and the dishes themselves seemed to be of a cheap quality, compared to the price. Sadly, food just was not that good.

Very pleasant outdoor brunch experience with good, helpful service. The three plate tesatas for £18 is good for a snack and an Estrella. Recommend the duck egg

Really lovely food. Small portions, but high quality. The octopus was particularly nice, and the croquetas were lovely. The Xuixo was a perfect little finish. Service was spot on, not too fussy, friendly, but very professional.

The venue itself exudes rustic charm, blending traditional elements with a modern touch. Warm modern accents and soft lighting create an inviting and intimate atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and convivial gatherings. The service at Tast is nothing short of exemplary. Attentive and knowledgeable staff members guide you through the menu with genuine passion, ensuring that every aspect of your dining experience is impeccable. When it comes to the quality of the food, Tast truly shines. Each dish thoughtfully crafted using the finest locally-sourced ingredients. Furthermore, the ambience at Tast plays a pivotal role in elevating the dining experience.

A lovely chique Catalan restaurant serving a mix of tapas and large plates. A unique mix of fine dining style tapas and more traditional big plates. For Manchester, this restaurant is quite expensive but if you are looking for high quality Spanish food, this restaurant is for you. Above all, the staff were wonderful and extremely friendly and polite. A special thank you to Emy (like the Emmy awards as he said) for his helpful drink suggestions and friendliness. A must try if you are in Manchester!

What feels like a truly authentic taste of Catalan cuisine. Blown away by the standard of the food, impeccable service and decor of the restaurant. I've been back several times now and have always had an excellent experience. Can't wait to go back and see what else is on offer

Young lady singing some great tunes. Lovely little seating area in the sun, feels like I’m on holiday.

We went here for our anniversary meal, it was the 3rd time we have eaten here. Simply put, the chef must be a gastronomic genius. The octopus is the best octopus I have eaten. The croquettes are bursting with flavour and leave such a beautiful after flavour coating the palate. Their signature rice dishes have a unique and rich flavour which is worth trying. Their wines and cocktails aren't half bad. It is pricey but well worth it!

Congrats about the service and the job the people are doing here. So cozy and friendly the atmosphere. The best egg I’ve ever had. Thanks everyone!

Very disappointed. Portions quite small for their price tag! You would have hoped that the taste would compensate for the quantity but not even. Extremely average food- simply put eatable. Even drinks were quite small, a coke of 200ml… Not reflecting Catalan culture, taste or hospitality.

Some Really nice food but not a lot of choice. Some of the dishes weren't really worth the price paid. I would think twice before revisiting.

Unbelievable food. Great service. Tasty cocktails. Top 5 restaurant in Manchester. The octopus was the best we’ve ever had. The duck in donut is a must try for something different.
