I went to Zoey's before the pandemic hit and they had the best sandwiches and fresh bread! I happened to be in Manchester today so I popped in to grab a sandwich. After waiting, I got my bag with excitement, only to open the bag and pull out a sandwich that barely one, maybe one and a half slices on the bread! That's the other thing, the bread was not fresh and the crust was hard as a rock! THEN, I had to wash it down with a warm water from their "cooler". All the drinks were warm. I threw the bread out and had barely two slices of turkey for $10. Also, the person working the register asks if you want to leave a tip. Initially, I forgot to pay for the water, so I went back up to pay... She asked me AGAIN if I wanted to tip. I told her I just left a tip, she said, "Sorry they make me ask every time". I always do, it's just pretty tacky. Our family will not be going back.

I am a local. I grew up going to Zoey's Deli. I used to love it but in recent years, I have seen the quality plummet which has challenged my love for Zoey's. After giving the benefit of the doubt on my past handful of visits, today was my final straw. I purchased my overpriced $15 chicken salad sandwich which I optimistically hoped would resemble the ol' Zoey's quality and received the saddest sandwich I have ever purchased. I know it was busy in general, but the sad sandwich took 30+ minutes. Anyways, I finally got the sandwich and wanted to add some extra pepper, prompting me to notice how skimpy and depressed the sandwich looked. At this point, my hanger was justified. For $15 I barely had any chicken salad on the sandwich and received burnt (beyond toasted...) chips. The chicken salad itself was subpar and flavorless (used to outstanding) but I would personally be embarrassed serving a sandwich looking like this. Will be boycotting until quality improves.

Great sandwiches and outdoor seating. One bathroom so stop before having lunch.

Good Deli. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious! Nice tables to eat at outside. It seemed a little too expensive for a deli, but I’d probably come back.

I am a Lifelong local of Manchester. I was here when Zoeys opened. The Best sandwiches around. I've used them for Catering as well....Over the summer the quality decreased significantly and you started charging for your chips. My most recent lunch was TERRIBLE!!! The bread was one heal and a slice. What's worse is NO HOMEMADE CHIPS! The staple of the sandwich experience from Zoey's, and you stopped serving it?! You don't even have it as an option to purchase?! This is extremely disappointing. Sadly, you have lost a loyal customer.

Loved this place years ago, but things have changed. Spent $59 for 1 breakfast sandwich, 2 chicken wraps, 1 cookie, and 3 drinks. Getting past the cost... the food was not good or fresh. My lettuce was days past being acceptable to serve. Also, you used to get house made chips, which they no longer have.

Have always loved Zoey's until recently. Prices have increased to a ridiculous amount, $17 for a sub sandwich, chips are now extra and no longer come with any sandwich or wrap. As a local working person who eats out everyday at lunch, Zoey's used to be one of my weekly visits, I will no longer eat here as I can't afford $25-$30 lunches. You know it's bad when it's the topic of conversation around the work place lunch room!

Ja-Beep was very accommodating in putting together platters for our group that was together for a wedding at the Inn @ Manchester. Several family members ordered lunch from Zoe’s while there for the weekend as well and were impressed. Top notch food & service. Highly recommended!

To start you order right when you enter and they text you when your order is ready. Sandwiches are on homemade, thick cut bread with a fair amount of meat. Sandwiches don't come with any sides, no chips, no pickle, nada. At 14-$18. My $6.95 cup of pea with ham soup was $7.95 with a dollar added separtely for what I don't know. The soup broth was a little thin for pea soup, had some tiny squares of ham but no carrots, no potatoes, nothing else. Just the broth and ham. The Rachel with pastrami sandwich came with a quite sweet coleslaw or thousand island dressing, couldn't tell which. Pastrami was generous on one half, 2 thin slices on the other half. Turkey club with bacon was good but the bread just too thick with a hard crust. An odd thing here is even though we were dining there they put our order in bags on a shelf by the door for pick up. Why not ask and save the bag? Parking is limited and you have to back out on a busy street if the lot is full. Was hoping for better.

Excellent sandwiches and service. Maybe next time will try to tackle one of the ginormous cookies. Lines can get long, it took about 25 minutes from waiting in line to getting our order once, but the process is easy. Parking in the small lot can be tricky because of how popular it is.

For years I told people Zoey's has the best BLT's, they put a ton of bacon 🥓 on it! The last time I got one of those was 3 years ago. 3 months ago I made it back to Zoeys and had a BLT with maybe 6 pieces of bacon, I was really disappointed 😞! I went back yesterday and said I want a BLT with lots of bacon! It might have had a total of 3 pieces of bacon 😔! I was disgusted! For the price of my BLT you can buy 2 lbs. of bacon and I got 3 pieces! I will be telling people Zoey's used to be a great place to eat, but it is definitely not worth the cost you pay, you will get a better sandwich up the road at Subway! It's ironic that the best place I ever got a BLT was also the place I got the ABSOLUTE WORST BLT!I truly felt like I was ripped off! I paid $13 dollars for a $1.50 sandwich 🥪

Omg,the worst place, the attitude of the cashier was so snotty. I was driving home and only had l$15 dollars on me. You would think enough to get a sub, not here. An Italian sub is more than that, and when he asked for payment, I said just the sub nothing else. He laughed and said yes I know. Well, I said I don't have enough money ( taxes) he said well you can always get a grill cheese. Wow, and I'm the only person in the place, and it's lunchtime, maybe cause they treat people not so nice. I smile and say no thanks. To bad cause I tell everyone I know were to find good subs. This place is not on the list.

A little pricey for just a sandwich, but definitely delicious!! It would definitely be a little better if they came with chips and a pickle for no extra charge. Service was great and outdoor seating is always a plus.

A bit pricey but I made two lunches out of a wrap...that helps a bit. The wrap itself was delicious and huge! I also have a spot in my heart for Fire dept related items...and they have several variations of fire hydrants in their decor...a plus! Overall...it's worth a visit!

The Soup of the day was lentil… so good! The cookies were the size of my head. (We split it) and my husband loved the Italian (one of their specialties). Will certainly go back again. 🚗 🥪 🍲 Great place to order ahead and grab and go on our way out of town. 10/10

Zoey’s is always my go to spot for lunch while my girlfriend spends all my money at the outlets. The sandwiches are amazing as is the soup. They do get quite busy so ordering ahead is usually a good idea. You may want to park in the adjacent lot to be able to get out with more ease. Thanks to Courtney and the rest of the staff for always being polite and prompt in their service!

Use to love this place right up until this summer! Due to the pandemic understandably various routines have changed. Here not necessarily for the better. Place your order, give your phone number and told they will alert you when the order is ready for pickup. 30 minutes passes with no alert, asked why haven’t received an alert. Told sorry we put the order on the shelf for pickup-NO name or anything to know who’s order it belonged too. When asked where the chips and pickle were - response, none today, no reason why or discount offered. Very disappointed in overall service. Maybe just poor management this summer.

Fantastic sandwich, I had the trifecta sub and it was delicious. The staff was kind. Their bathroom was clean and neat. They offered free excess bread they had to the customers which I thought was a kind gesture. Only feedback I have is adding variety to the types of bread for the subs like a wheat or honey oat. They did offer to make my sandwich using those in the square shape but the white bread was the only type they had in sub shape which just fine because the white homemade sub bread was delicious and the right texture. Thank you Zoey’s

I love going to Zoey’s Deli when I make it down to Manchester, Vt. Good customer service and clean establishment. However, my buffalo chicken sandwich (that was $14 dollars!!!!) had chicken and lettuce on it with no cheese or ranch as requested. Also, they were out of their “homemade famous chips”. The big cookie was definitely worth the $4.75 and big enough to share! They have a good setup for ordering and taking out food and plenty of outdoor sitting with your mediocre wrap. Luckily, I have a leftover bag of lays wavy chips to enjoy with my floppy wrap.
