Visited this restaurant for first time on a Saturday afternoon in June. Easy wheelchair access (via a lift) and not too busy. I'd read some good reviews about their vegan options so I thought it would be worth trying it out! Nice atmosphere, great service and large tasty portions means this is definitely a 5 out of 5! Try it, you won't be disappointed...

Amazing restaurant! First time visiting and we left super Happy ( 3 adults and three kids). We went last Sunday without reservation and the staff were super friendly to gave us a table. Menu for kids (healthy and DELICIOUS) good portions and excellent prices. Adult food were scrumptious! Super tasty, big portions a real asian flavour. The decorations are fab, to be honest I didn’t expect to much (never heard about the place) but it’s terrific, I do love it , looking forward to back again and try a different dish. If you are in Manchester Piccadilly I suggest you to give a try, better service, taste and price than Wagamama (sorry).

Wow! The service made this experience so much better. I went here for my 22nd Birthday as I saw a post about it online. Myself and my partner decided to go for 3 small dishes and 1 large dish for share. The small dishes we chose were the sticky wings (vegan) which were super flavourful, the corn fritters which were super crispy and fresh and the Szechuan squid which we were expecting to be more seasoned but they were a little bland and chewy. The large dish we chose was the Singaporean Vermicelli Noodles - Vegetarian. The girl who served us i believe her name was Cristina, she was very officiant and checked up on us and made sure our dining experience was up to par. I’d definitely recommend here just for the service alone

First time here. The food was good, the atmosphere great, very relaxed. The service was great big πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ to Christine she couldn't do enough for us. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone if you want good food in a happy relaxed place.

The food was great. We ordered spring rolls, chicken katsu curry and pad krapow khai. Everything was delicious and we were really impressed with the halal options and the fact that they had also mentioned which dishes were cooked in the same oven as pork. Would recommend to everyone.

I really love dining here. The place is cozy and the employees are nice and welcoming. Today, I tried the iced Vietnamese coffee and it was soooo good and creamy. I ordered Mushrooms gyoza πŸ₯Ÿ, really fluffy and soft. I ordered Satay chicken πŸ— the spice was good, and coconut prawns 🍀! This prawns are my favorite. Finally, I ordered chicken Katso, it was delicious and the portion was really more than good! I really recommend this place.

Came for the food stayed for the cocktails. Not somewhere I could recommend for the food when many independent Asian restaurants in Manchester blow this out of the water. Food wasn't bad it just wasn't anything to want to go back for.

Lottie was an absolute babe, she was very welcoming! 10/10 would recommend. Best waitress in the business. May she live long and prosper :)

Today was a happy day at Tampopo Corn Exchange. I visit both their branches in Manchester on a regular basis and their food is obviously amazing but what stole the show today was their hospitality. The lady on the front desk was really welcoming, I visited alone today but she made sure that I get a table without waiting for long on busy Saturday evening. She made sure that each table served well and welcomed everyone with a big smile. I would also like to mention their new updated menu with a lot of options for mocktails. Today I ordered their Laksa soup and the Thai coconut punch (alcohol free) which is a must try. The outdoor seating vibe is amazing. I would highly recommend this place. 😊

We were starving and heard of the corn exchange. Recently we have been visiting Manchester for work so wanted to try corn exchange food side but were clueless which one to choose. Saw this really nice kind of mixed Asian cuisine. Barged walking in and were welcomed by really nice lady at reception. We were then attended by the staff soon. To mention food was so good definitely try the vegetarian sharer, the Thai bucket was alright and Thai salad was alright. I think it’s really hard to craft a tasty salad but I managed to mix sauces of my starter and it tasted delish after that. Budget friendly as well. First time at this restaurant recommended by my dining party. The spring roll and pork belly starters were very tasty but I found the Panko chicken Katsu curry underwhelming. The curry sauce was also little less than Luke warm which did not help with taste.

Had a lovely Thai meal, food was delicious hot and tasty. Portions are big and it’s not that cheap but it’s definitely worth it for the portions, definitely can take the rest of your meal home. Service was exceptional and they clearly care about allergies. Zorrie, our server, was absolutely lovely and accommodating. She gave some brilliant recommendations and always made sure we had whatever we wanted. Service with a smile! Will be back!

We shared starters and had individual mains. They took care of my nut allergy and the food was genuinely delicious. The staff were round regularly making sure we had whatever we needed and I’d definitely come back. Thanks 😁

Me and my mum had such a nice meal last Friday. The food was great, atmosphere was lovely and our server Rachel was fantastic! She was very attentive, friendly, accommodating and fabulous! She spoke a bit of Polish and we thought it was really sweet! Great place and we’ll definitely come back :)

I've always liked coming to Tampopo, it's such a nice place and the staff is always on point. Ellie (the server we got today) was so nice and attentive and she made sure all of our food came on time and was perfect. I'm definitely coming back to Tampopo again!

Nice and quick service, friendly staff members. Offer a halal and vegan/vegetarian range. Ordered the black pepper chicken stir fry and katsu chicken curry. Tasted good but feel the portion size was very small and not filling for me. Couldn’t find much chicken in what i was eating but flavours were really good. If i return then will definitely try something different.

Had bottomless brunch for my birthday and it was a great time. I had the pork belly for starters and it was wonderful, I loved the liberal amount of crispy onion. I then had my classic favourite the katsu udon ramen which I can't recommend enough, and I always have enough to take home for lunch the next day. Lots of cocktail options for the bottomless brunch, I particularly enjoyed the Bellinis and the rum and coke which came in a bucket for two but they were just dishing them out to us individually! A little difficult to get drinks top ups at first but they made up for it by giving us about 3 drinks each at the end!

Great food as usual, prompt service and friendly staff. All four of us had different dietary requirements and our waitress took lots of care to double check that all of our food was safe to eat, even remembering who had what requirements, in addition to providing an allergy list for the table - the attention to detail was excellent and much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend!

Easily one of the worst tasting and least authentic Asian meals I had. Me and my husband were very disappointed how tasteless the chicken satay was, definitely not creamy and no peanut notes. The duck was one dimensionally sweet and uninteresting. Pad thai just spice and no flavour. Never again especially how low quality is to the price. Quite terrible inauthentic Asian food. Better off going to China town and finding a restaurant there. PS. To the rude defensive response from the restaurant. People usually leave reviews when really truly disappointed (or hugely satisfied). No surprise here, your food was awful especially after a really good experience we had in CBRB a few days earlier :) now I left a review for that too! (it's only fair)

We had a lovely time in Tampopo. We got there hungry and were in the mood for some Asian flavors. Right away, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful Kira who guided us through the menu. The food we ordered was tasty! The cocktails were good, too!😍

Kira was just fantastic! Totally attentive and looked after me and my friends incredibly. Kira recommended some delicious dishes and her smile didn’t leave her side throughout the eve.

Food was awesome, Kira our lovely waitress recommended some of the small plates, favourite was the popcorn chicken, we will be back on our next visit to Manchester.

This was my first time coming out to this place. I RARELY go out to eat and in general eating in restaurants doesn't appeal to me at all. Once I walked in, I could tell this would be different, I went with a friend after work in what we called a "d-stress" meeting. We were served by wonderful lady named Kira who was absolutely amazing from the beginning to end and she didn't come across of being pushy or forcing us to buy anything. Kira really did make the food experience worth it and all of the offers I really loved and appreciated (I ended up taking food and a dessert for my sister which she also really loved!). Food wise - I took the vegan Yaki udon with Thai egg and it was lovely! Seasoned really well and the vegetables were SO SOOO GOOD (I usually don't eat as much, but I finished the whole plate!) Tofu was nice, fresh and chewy. Sparkling water was also nice and cold. My friend enjoyed her meal as well as were both just had a nice calm down time in general while eating. Also price was definitely better than I expected while portions were fine for me (medium size with good price). All in all would definitely recommend this place to everyone! The vibe was so nice, food amazing quality and I will definitely be coming again!

Asian street food. Enjoyed our dinner here. Didn't have a reservation on Saturday night but they gave us a table for 2hrs which was plenty of time. Tasty food and good size portions. Shared a sharing Meaty Platter starter and all options were delish. Mains of Thai Red Curry and katsu curry. Desserts of Mochi Balls and Churros were also tasty . The Iced Vietnamese coffee with dark rum and a Vietnamese coffee were super. Lovely servers , friendly and speedy. Like the decor downstairs. Outdoor seating on the Sq which would be nice on a warmer day to people watch.

It was quite a disappointing experience, we had been to the branch in Albert’s square, and that’s why we wanted to try out this branch in corn exchange, we ordered the same food in both branches, and it was a big disappointment here in corn exchange I would say the Katsu chicken curry udon was a big disappointment, I expected the curry paste would be a bit thicker as when I had it in Albert’s square branch , and the portion was quite small, I did give the feedback to the waitress but she seemed not really agree with me. The seatings are more comfortable in this branch though, and the green tea I ordered was more like a pot of Chinese jasmine tea rather than Japanese green tea. I was expecting to have a better dining experience as I had been to other Tampopo branch, but oh well I was a bit disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic food, great portions! Skira was our server, she was very attentive and often knew what we wanted to order before we said! When she went on break she made sure we were looked after, as well as telling us who our temporary server was and pointing her out. Would highly recommend!

Rachel was our server tonight and she was a delight! Warm welcome, fun and jokes, good support with choosing from the menu. Prompt service, regularly checking if we need more drinks or anything else. Food was delicious and plentiful. Crackers, chicken satay, squid rings, red curry noodles, green Thai curry with jasmine rice and chips, were some things we ordered and were really nice. Nice bit of spice on some dishes.
