Visited here on 7/1/23. The 2 stars are for the stock selection ONLY. As an advocate for good customer service, and as somebody who has been trained to look for buying signals etc. I can only assume that Footlocker takes a differing view to customer service. As I entered the store, there were 3-4 members of staff standing around chatting. I picked up a pair of jogging bottoms, close to where the staff were standing, but was unsure of what size to get. I stood there for a good few minutes trying to decide which pair to get, and in that time not one member of staff approached me. I decided on the size and went to pay. The person on the till seemed to be put out by me wanting to buy something, and handed me my carrier bag with one hand, like it was beneath them. I may be doing them a disservice, and I may have a higher standard of C/S than Footlocker do, but it was a negative experience to say the least. *Footlocker were the only store that stocked the jogging bottoms I purchased, or else I would have gone elsewhere.

Went to buy trainers for £165 I couldn't get elsewhere. I asked the guy, who looked like I'm bothering him, for the required size and with annoyed face he responded that they are closing in 10 minutes. I need to say that it was 6.30 and they were closing at 7 and it didn't take me more than 15 min to buy the trainers, as I knew what I was after. After a couple of months of not very frequent wearing, the sole detached but Footlocker refused to accept the claim and told me to send the claim to the manufacturer, as it was more than 2 months from purchasing. It's clear that they didn't want to handle the claim. I regret that I didn't read the customers' experience with their poor Customer Service prior to the purchase. I learned a lesson that cost me £165 and I will never spend my money here again.

The stupidest store I've ever seen. This is what their staff did: store opening time was 10.00am, the staff let all resellers entre to buy jordan at 9.30am because their staff and resellers are friends or maybe their staff are resellers also, while all other customers had to waited until 10.30am to entre.

I used to shop a lot here a lot untill i bought a faulty tracksuit and the extremely rude manager natalia refused to exchange it even though the ones on the shop floor were damaged in the same place they refused to accept responsibility , i took it threw the complaints procedure and was totaly fobbed off, they did an investigation and said they was not willing to exchange as it isnt a manufactures fault even though i quite clearly told them it was a packaging issue , disgusting attitude and appaling treatment to a customer, iWill never shop there again and think im being generous giving thenm 1 star as they dont deserve any, not even worn this and like i say at least 2 on shop floor had same flaws (faults) , the managers response was that i could of done it to the tracksuits on the shop floor , if shewas a manager in my shop she would be outa work

Never before have I received such horrid customer service. I was having a lovely day experiencing the great sights of Manchester after my 9 hour direct flight from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in my native Michigan. After my big tour of the famous Northwest city I had worn out my shoes, so I decided to get a new pair in a local Footlocker. I entered, picked out a pair of sambas and went up to the checkout, where I was greeted by the absence of any living being. After an inexcusably long period of time I finally had a short, seemingly unaware woman come to my service. Her name was “JAM”, though I think I would have been better off with a jar of the condiment. She said hello to me, then began to perform some sort of uncomfortably rigid and robotic dance routine, completely ignoring any respect to my personal space. About halfway through she insisted I join in, when I refused she began hitting me with her pom-poms to the beat of the stores background music (A Fairytale of New York, if you as the reader find yourself curious). After about 20 minutes of what can only be described as mental and physical torture of the most painful degree, she finally gave me my shoes and added her 15% student discount (hence the lone star in my rating). I will not be returning.

Absolute waste of time happy to take 200 pound plus of your money but yet if and when an item is returned back due to defect they don't want to know! Also rude staff look at the sole of the shoe and say they have been worn to brush you off unbelievable really us no people skills what so ever some of the staff in there

Ordered shoes online. Tried them at home. The insoles were off to the point where they irritated feet. Took them to Arndale store. The staff was very rude. Guy lookes at the shoes and said that they have been worn and that "he can't see anything wrong with them". NEVER again buying from this store.

I finished work and was walking through Manchester centre. A guy flew past me with arms full of clothing. He got a 5 second start on my man from footlocker. Didn't matter as the staff member from footlocker was away. I don't know if he's in the British Olympic team. He should be. The guy dropped the clothes as he was about to get caught . My man picked them all up and walked back with a smile. Man deserves a medal. I'm sure this isn't in their job description. And plenty would say why bother. I think the company and his parents should be proud. Hero

I bought a pair of jordans and received great service a few week back, i went back to buy a second pair. I was served by a tall skinny guy at the door and i would like to award him with the title, "The worse sales assistant in Manchester" award. The security guard tried to explain his behaviour, as a past store manager, i would have given him a warning for his attitude and i found the words of the guard insulting. I'm sure Nike appreciate his level of service because they gained the sale.

Great selection of shoes on offer but the staff are incredibly rude and have no basic customer service skills. Would avoid personally.

Been opened 16 minutes late. Guy in black shirt (I guess its manager) not even apologized or said good morning. 2 stars as the workers was nice and smiling. We both shoes from Ines. Was another staff who came to us and chatted.

Needed assistance yesterday to purchase some trainers for my child. Noone was at the till and the only sales assistants I saw were flirting and waving bye bye to a group of lads that were flirting with them. Even Jd hasn't stooped this low. You used to employ more matured staff but now it's nothing but Jd stood looking pretty staff. Sort it 🙄

was searching for comfortable but stylish trainers. Store was busy but stuff was really trying their best. My eu size is 39 and there was not a lot of this size but i still found cute sneakers for 79.99.(puma-nitro)

First purchase at Footlocker. Got these gems in a size 4 for just £85. I waited over 10 minutes just for the worker to bring me the Jordan's. I don't what was taking so long. It was a Monday ergo it wasn't busy. The girl at the till was very slow-paced with her work, made a few mistakes (which was corrected by the worker who gave me the shoes) and wasn't quick to jump on the till when she clearly saw customers waiting. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait as long in the queue to check out. Footlocker appears to have very low standards when it comes to customer service. Wish I could work there for that reason. But I got these gorgeous trainers in the midst of all of it. Thank you, Hannah F.

Worst personnel I've ever encountered, pretending not to see you as you wait to ask a question. I waited 30 minutes to inquire about the proper size.

Really bad experience in here. Staff just looked like they couldn’t be bothered and were messing around on their phones. Finally got someone’s attention after 10 mins and they confirmed they had the shoe I wanted in my size and then they just walked off to the other side of the store holding the shoe to have a chat with his mate. They just played around together for another 10 minutes while I stood there waiting. Shoes never came and they ignored me when I tried to get their attention again. Eventually just walked out the store and bought the same trainers from another store nearby.

Can find most tranding shoes in there. The staff are very rude and doesn't care about the customer. They always try to avoid you, tell you the shoe is not available without bothering and checking. Try to avoid this place as the service is horrible

I've noted the comments on here Some good some extremely bad I noted that Foot locker are only accepting cash. I think that is brilliant we need to support shops like this.. Debit and credit cards will eventually be turned into identity cards we must stop this, in a fight for freedom Big up Foot Locker

Waiting outside. At least 4 staff in at 9:20 Still couldn't open on time. Opened just shy of 9:40 and made me late for work. Small things but not a good way to attract people back to the high street. The cashier was very friendly though.
