When I saw my husband's new glasses & sunnies from Jones & Co, I've decided I need an upgrade! I've been using glasses from local opticians for many years and it had become boring and uninspiring when coming to choose frames. I absolutely loved the whole experience - the hospitable reception, styling consultation, meticulous eye assessment & the final fitting. Never been this excited about picking up glasses. Incredible service from start to finish! I walked out of Vision Express after being hounded to purchase a pair of frames that I wasn't too keen on. Horrible pushy experience..... which led me to Jones and Co. on King Street. I made my styling appointment and spoke to a lovely lady that talked me through the process and what to expect on the day. My optician Mark was amazing at picking out elements of my personality to match a range of frames that would look great on me. Each set of frames was truly unique and had the potential to match my style, but in the end we settled on the Theo eyewear you can see in my photo. Needless to say, I LOVE THEM! I wear them all the time now. I've had wonderful feedback and compliments on them. Mark and the wider team at Jones and Co. have been amazing, and I will be returning for another pair in the not too distant future. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a pair of frames that shows off their personality!

I had a fantastic experience here. This place offers a wide range of brands. Coming from China and a bit unsure of the process to get a pair of glasses in the UK (the process was a bit different in China), people here took great care of me and made me feel at home. A visit to Jones and Co is always a treat as well as extremely reassuring. From the moment I arrive, I feel welcome and in caring, professional hands. Alex has provided exemplary optical assessments, picking up the early signs of an issue which could have been very serious if ignored, I really appreciate the reassurance of the thorough regular check. The treat is the choice of frames and the fabulous support from Jess and Deepal in picking the right ones ( or 2, maybe 3!) I had tried to keep my frames rimless and invisible in the past but I have been completely bowled over by the impact a bold, beautiful frame can have. I'd never ever been complimented on my glasses before but it's now a regular occurrence, love it. I would not hesitate to recommend Jones and Co

I've been going to Jones and Co for many many years and the experience has not diminished over that time. The way my appointments always go is a comprehensive eye test, a lovely coffee or two, and a consultation with a styling optician about what I want/need that day. This could be nothing because my eye test showed that I don't need to change the lens prescription and I'm happy to keep the current frames; or I want/need new frames and/or lenses; or I need new lenses but would like to keep the frames I've got. If I want new frames, we then have a chat about what styles I have in mind. My contribution to the styling consultation is always quite vague, such as 'I'd quite like some green ones' or 'I want interesting ones, but not too over-the-top.’ Then we get to the exciting bit. The styling optician goes off and brings me a selection of 6-8 frames, all of which magically incorporate what we’ve been talking about. I try them on, we talk about them, and the styling optician is honest with me about why one pair looks good and another pair maybe not so much. After much trying on (and passing members of staff stopping by and commenting), I eventually whittle them down and choose the winner(s). I totally appreciate this approach. When I leave Jones and Co, I feel like I’ve just had a nice time with friends I see once a year, but these friends are also so very very professional and brilliant at their jobs. Over the years, my glasses always attract admiring comments, and I have never regretted buying any of them.

I would not (nor would my other half) go anywhere else for eye test or glasses. Their eye test is gold standard - it's very thorough and detailed and genuinely delivers an overall view of the health of your sight. I have just bought my second set of Theo frames for everyday wear, I constantly am complimented on them and treated myself to the most beautiful sunglasses (picked them up on a rainy day - typical). Okay - this is not a high street opticians, its not cheap and don't expect a BOGOF. This is a bespoke optician who know you by name, knows your family, always remembers you and treats you like an individual. Could not recommend enough - P

At last, an optician that understands what people really want from glasses! I was looking for someone to show me new ideas, something to suit my face. They delivered on everything. I needed glasses replacing a couple of years ago, then Covid hit. I did a lot of research and kept coming back every time to Jones & Co. I booked appointments for myself and my husband, we ended up with three new pairs each. The quality of the glasses is something else. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The care and attention was amazing. I would highly recommend them.

Jess helped me work through many different frame options and gave honest, respectful opinions on how they looked on my face. She also talked through the lense options for my prescription and the ways I could pay for them. She had even visited Belgium to see the manufacturers of the frames I chose, which gives the whole experience such a personal connection

This is a five star experience and can’t be compared to cheaper options. I need to wear glasses all the time and so choosing them is a very emotional experience. They are after all on my face every day. Without any pressure you’re guided through your options of frames and payments. Then you know that you can wear them with confidence, thanks to all the staff at Jones and Co.

This is a great place to get new frames. Friendly and knowledgeable staff want to find something that’s best for you. I’ve always gone for frameless glasses in the past, as I prefer them to be inconspicuous, but even so, for the first time, I chose a modern pair of frames that made a statement and I’m very pleased with them! Of course, they’re not cheap, but I’m happy with the price I paid. There’s an ophthalmic optician too, should you need an eye test. A much nicer experience that the high street chain opticians!

Among the best customer experiences I've ever had, and it's consistently great every time I visit. That's without mentioning the frames of which there is an amazing range. You feel like you're buying something unique. The style advice is also spot on. My mum has used Jones & Co. in the past and it was time for her to upgrade to a new pair. Whilst mum was trying on new colours and shapes which were picked for her small face shape, one pair caught my eye. I've hated wearing glasses from the very first pair so I'm reluctant to buy anything so stylish. All the glasses suited mum so I steered her away from the pair I liked. Whilst the team was measuring mum I also got measured for my very first pair of glasses from Jones. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome and this continued through the measuring, purchasing and collecting of the glasses. I visited for both an eye test and new glasses. I'm really pleased with both! - The eye test was thorough and never rushed. We talked through my circumstances and I was able to test the prescription until I was comfortable and confident. - In line with the other google reviews, the styling appointment was very relaxed and personal. I tried to keep an open mind and settled on something quite different from any of my old glasses, but I'm very pleased with them: the lenses are incredibly clear and the frames are very light and comfortable, and they fitted them well - I keep forgetting that I'm wearing them! Will definitely be back.

What an amazing experience! I have Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome, and as such need a specific purple coloured lens. I was having real trouble getting coloured lenses and I was so pleased to visit an opticians that were able to support me. The bespoke service offered to me was tremendous and the staff team amazing. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful intricate work they have done to ensure I have the best possible glasses that could easily be a work of art. Jones & Co go that extra mile ! I wanted blue frames similar to a pair I had before. Despite showing me a very extensive range I didn’t see what I was looking for. I have always gone to Jones & Co for several years because the quality and standard of service is simply exceptional. The staff are so friendly and helpful and really and listen and take note of your needs as a customer. Choosing the right frames his a very personalised decision, and Jess in particular was very good and helping me make the right choices. You can get frames cheaper in plenty of other places, but you won't get the quality of frames and the superior standard of service. Highly recommended.

Delighted yet again with my latest pair of glasses. The expert team make finding the right pair so easy and such a pleasure. After having an eye test at a local opticians I found that their range of frames were totally uninspiring. Feeling a bit disheartened I found Jones and Co and wow I was so glad I did. The choice of frames is fantastic with really interesting options. I had a styling consultation with Kathryn who suggested some gorgeous frames that I would never have thought would suit me - she really knew her stuff. The whole experience was fun, friendly and modern - a huge step up from the usual optician experience.

I have been going to Jones & Co for over 15 years, from when they started. What can l say nothing but good comments. I now enjoy having my eyes tested and getting new glasses , it’s no longer an ordeal. The eye test is always spot on, the welcome you get is like an long term friendship, all the staff go above 100%. My experience at Jones & Co was 10/10, and I would definitely recommend them. Having made a couple of poor design choices on my glasses previously, along with experiencing not the best service using other opticians, I was recommended Jones & Co by a friend. The overall experience, from the styling consultation, eye exam, choice of frames, and follow up appointments were absolutely exceptional. Yes they are more expensive than other high street opticians, but the difference in quality, in not only the frames, but the service is incomparable. I now have a pair of glasses that I absolutely love, and can't wait to go back for another pair!

Amazing service from initial eye test to the final fit of the glasses. Having a choice of frames selected for you to try whilst you sit with your coffee is wonderful. The staff are great at identifying the styles that will suit you, according to the type of frame you want. I have just got two pairs of vari-focals for the first time and I am finding them really comfortable to use after just a couple of hours of adjustment. Very highly recommend this place!

I had heard of Jones & Co through my friends so decided to visit, I was completely blown away by the level of service, from having my eye test done, to picking the frames. There is a huge selection of styles, I wasn't rushed and took the time with staff to find the perfect pair. I didn't have to wait too long to pick them up and the aftercare since has been amazing. Jones and Co. offered an outstanding customer experience from my very first phone call through to checking the fit of my new glasses. It's clear that staff love what they do and their passion shines through. The choice of frames was amazing; the stylist came out with 5 frames, each of which suited me perfectly. Jones & Co. diagnosed my eye problem straight away, and treated it during my visit. I have worn glasses for years and have previously bought frames based on what I felt was the least bad option. I visited Jones and co. after reading all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed. All the staff were great. Kenji helped me to pick a new pair of glasses - he was attentive, patient and honest and I ended up with 2 new frames as I couldn’t decide which ones I liked best!

Not only is the service impeccable, but the quality and range of fantastic, unique glasses is brilliant. Fantastic friendly service! Jones & Co were recommended by friends of ours who always have fab glasses in! I cannot fault the service at all! The initial styling consultation was a lovely experience from being greeted to trying and eventually buying. The devil’s in the details too, little things like recommending trying different mirrors i different lighting conditions, advice on fit, complimentary drinks and so on. They would have got a great review anyway but sometimes the acid test is if something goes wrong.. Through no fault of theirs, the sunglasses had a minor blemish on one lens. Before I was due in to collect they had called me up and apologised for the fact it had failed their quality inspection and they had already ordered a replacement lens.. I should point out here that the flaw was so small I had to have it pointed out to me! On the day we also realised the name engraving on my main glasses and box had not been done despite being on the order they had raised with the manufacturer. Same again, they were straight in it. They let me take the glasses home (along with the sunglasses) whilst they re-ordered. I just need to pop back when they are ready. So great service from a really friendly bunch, no pressure to buy or even in how long choosing of frames took. Fabulous - looking forward to selecting my next ones in a year or two!
