Today morning parked at 10.43, paid £5.70 for 2 hours at machine by card. Got receipt as well, as my meeting finished early then expected, when I arrived at car park saw my car getting ticket. I asked that person what is the reason, he said he can't say anything, I showed him ticket printed which is still 50 min left, he just say sorry and left, never gona use that car park again, promise

Expensive car park that's convenient for Chinatown, the spaces are quite narrow so you may need to ask passengers to exit the vehicle before you park, it also fills quickly, so you often enter and find there are no spaces. You can pay by app or use the ticket machine which does accept credit and debit cards but not amex. You enter your number plate, and it's an electronic ticket, you pay on entry which is the most annoying scheme. As you either over estimate, or under estimate and have to rush back, or have to top which is more expensive. There's no staff on site though you can phone customer service but that number is mainly to do with fines. This car park has always been expensive and awkward as long as I have known it.

Very convenient to China Town, but the parking space is quite narrow. The parking charge is very high too. Besides, the parking machine is not responsive. Hopefully there will be improvement as soon as possible.

I always park here when visiting Manchester's shopping, northern quarter etc.. I use the pay by phone app which allows you to put extra time on if needed. I usually get charged a little over five pound for a couple of hours but you should check the charges as these may apply depending on the day of visit. It is generally a busy place with plenty of people around and my car has always been safe so far.

Good location, expensive to park. Entrance and exit could be a better design, really narrow with high kerbs, not great for low profile cars. Solution-the central kiosk needs removing to improve this space. More payment metres needed and add some more cctv cameras in an effort to make the area feel a bit safer.

Disgraceful. Paid for 2 hours at 11:52am and at 13:18pm I got a £50 parking fine!!! The traffic warden even watched me buy the sodding ticket. Don't park here! What a joke

Parking is very expensive. Around £3.50 for an hour. The vibe did look nice but is quite small. Its just a few alleys of Chinese shops and restaurants. Is nice to just walk through.

Bit expensive. Download PayByPhone app. £25.70 for the day. Location is 805426. NFC payment at the parking meter doesn’t work. Two meters next to the entrance. Run by Manchester City Council. PAY ON ARRIVAL!

Very narrow entry and exit , pay machine very difficult to operate. Very small screen, keyboard very small, It is not clear that payment it has been done once or twice. The app doesn't work accurately as well. Positive close to city centre and just 2 minutes walking distance to Museum, Banks, etc. Ideal for short stay up to 2-3 hrs. Longer stay for whole day it is a quite expensive.

I’m not going to lie. I did so much research about parking places before attending an event at the Mercure Hotel and was scared to leave my car anywhere in central Manchester due to poor reviews based on cars being unsafe and no cameras. However, this place was very safe, lit area and had cameras. Prices were fine as we parked on Friday night

CON MEN TRYING IT ON HERE READ BELOW!! Careful!!!!! £12.50 for 5 hours. Paid for an extra 2 online when close to running out of time which cost £5.90. Very expensive! Also con men walking around putting fake parking fines on your windscreens watch out for them!! I got one 🤣 if the parking ticket isn’t sealed it’s a con!

There is no paper to come out after parking here and paying! I thought I didn't pay successfully. I tried several times, but the paper didn't come out! Then my money was deducted 4 times! How to get it back! I can't find the contact information!

Better lighting needed. As a single woman I felt unsafe going to my car at night. Too dark and groups hanging around at entrance.

Convenient place to park your car if shopping /eating in Chinatown. Normally you can find a parking lot available and reasonable parking costs relatively to other places in town. During busy hours (weekends/bank holiday) it could be difficult to get a space available.

Parking appearance could be improved like the tarmac and entrance. Looks like a backyard so many puddles and lines are looking faint. Entrance looks pretty tight many times caught the rims going in and out that box in the middle needs to go as it's pointless if got a machine there. Not to forget the lighting could be better if shining towards the car park dark in some spots.

Great central location. Not the largest car park, so get there early.

Parked here regularly of late as I was carrying out work in a local building. Car Park is a disgrace and not maintained. Pot holes everywhere, drunks and drug users everywhere. Parking enforcers petroling are brainless. Parked recently when it snowed. No gritting carried out and unable to see the designated bays due to snow/ice. Returned to my vehicle to be told by car park womble that I could easily have got a ticket as my offside tyres where on the line. Luckily i took photos when i arrived that morning to show the amount of snow on the ground and no visible bays. And they have the audacity to charge £25.50 for the privilege of 24 hr parking. Nothing but a cash cow for the council.

Parking was available even though we were queuing to get in. It is well located close to many shops and bars.

paid a lot of money to park for two hours and the carpark itself had uneven ground and pot holes. The pay machine didn't work either!

A bit expensive but what do you expect for being in the city centre. Feels very safe around here so don't mind leaving my car.

Loved it here saw the locals which made it feel authentic the car park was dirty and grimey which gave it the 'ghetto' feel 10/10 would come again

Never had any problems with this place, always found free spots unlike some other locations in city centre. Walking distance to any main shopping places and great for a quick lunch in Chinatown. Prices Manchester average

I have a disabled ♿ badge and as a warden was there i asked how long I could stay or if i had to pay.. I was told i could park all day (again by a warden) Long story short, i got back to my car after 2hrs to find a ticket.. I was fuming. Couldn't find a warden to ask WHY? If I was told i had to pay i would have done as i did pay then for an extra 2hrs as wanted to do more shopping. No wonder wardens have a bad reputation.
