Do not use the lifts in this car park Spent 2.5 hours trapped in one today Rang the emergency bell repeatedly they do not know where the building is. Gave them the name, address, postcode repeatedly and they said "are you in an apartment" and hung up. The lift emergency button provided no help. Phoned the company who run the car park - not open Phoned 101 who gave us an emergency contact for the company. They said they would send an engineer but it was busy to call back later. and get an eta Called back and was told engineer would be with us in 30 minutes No engineer arrived, called back and was told the maintenance agreement was out of contract so they had decided not to send an engineer and would provide no help whatsoever. The car park security must have heard us yelling for 2.5 hours and did absolutely nothing. Like literally not a thing. In the end I had to call 999 and get the fire brigade to free us. Incredibly traumatic and not even an apology. Disgraceful, park literally anywhere else. And never take the lift!

Incompetent. They charge you twice. On returning to the car, I paid through the APCOA app (£10.20 for the hours of an Arena event),. There are many signs saying this is the way to pay. But then the barrier stayed down on the exit gate. No staff member was around. There were a queue of cars behind me waiting. In the end I was forced to pay again. £16.00. I've got in touch with Apcoa web chat and they quickly pushed me away to the refund email. I have submitted the details but have heard nothing back and not got a refund. They seem to be ignoring when I chase up. I've looked at £16.00 receipt and the apparent time exited is 2hours after I actually paid! Something suspicious is going on. EDIT: After 10 days and webchatting/emailing they redunded me, so updated to 2 stars.

Very simple to book online and use. Very close to everything you need in Manchester. Only thing is, with ticket already paid, left it in car so wouldn't lose it. Had to ring a buzzer to be let through. Great security measure but it would be a good idea to tell you on the ticket and email. Still 5 stars though.

Disgusting car park as per other recent reviews. Used to be secure with a parking ticket required for access, now it's open to be used as a toilet and judging by the smell in the stairwell, which you are forced to use with all lifts broken, often is. Expensive and a mandatory 'convenience' fee to pay as well. There are many better car parks in the city, avoid this one.

I would give this car park 0 stars if I could. I’ve used it before and had no issues, and you can’t pay when you leave at the exit barrier, you need to download the app as all the ticket machines where you would usually pay weren’t working and had an out of order sign on. Trying to download the app is another thing entirely, it’s like an actual maze trying to leave on foot too, the lifts hardly ever work so if you have someone in a wheelchair or are a wheelchair user yourself, good luck trying to exit via a working lift. Nothing is sign posted besides to say ‘this is out of order etc’ the app isn’t downloading and I think this is where I live now.

Car park quite tight for my car (Volvo XC90) and I am a HGV driver for a living, so that’s saying something. Your doors will get bashed because the spaces are so narrow. Only one lift was working on my visit which was a pain as lots of people were waiting.

Get a great all day parking deal if you book online in advance. I will definitely use again. However it was difficult to understand how to exit without getting proper confirmation that we indeed can just drive out and don't need to do anything more as regards payment or verification. But apart from that, it's a really good deal.

Conveniently close to the centre and all the shops and usually has plenty of spaces on the upper levels. Quite secure as the main entrance has a ticket activated door. £12 for 4 hours.

Overall one of the better city centre car parks. Clean, well lit and more secure than others. The early bird rate of £5.50 for 12 hours is pretty good. I was overcharged recently but received a refund quickly via email so can't grumble too much.

Was good when managed by NCP when you could automatically pay on the app. Now you have to pay by machine and they have taken away the £5 weekend all day parking. Cost me £10 for 3 hours today (Saturday)whereas it used to cost £5 all day. Its just another rip off like everything else. The only good thing is the £5 early bird which seems to be still available.....for now.

Overall is ok! Entrance can be difficult if you have a very large vehicle, parking spaces are ok but not too wide. One thing very sad is people use the stair case for drugs, although it’s locked they get in as soon as you open the door. Clean your hands when you get to your car. I didn’t have any issues but I’m guessing if you leave anything valuable visible in your vehicle could be tempting for a drug user.

Booked a season ticket and was told to pick up a ticket from the office. Office was unmanned Manage to leave the building but couldn’t access car park with out a ticket . When you buzz they keep saying you don’t need a ticket to get in but I shouldn’t have to buzz each time to get to my car Why can’t I just have a physical ticket like anyone else to use access the building. Also they yell at you when you try to explain your predicament. It’s safe and convenient but customer service is shocking.

Good enough place to park. Prices in line with other options in the area and car park itself was clean and well lit. Though had a larger vehicle (Ford Ranger) still managed to park. Only issue I faced was by prepaying (which works out a lot cheaper) to exit you have to call for assistance which on a Sunday morning when we left took about 3 minutes to be answered as a queue formed behind.

I use this carpark a few times a week I feel its value for money and central to my work. BUT yesterday I had a accident in work was taken to hospital and remained there all day was also told I cannot drive for the foreseeable I went for my car this morning, the carpark manager was rude off hand and said we had not contacted him the day before to explain which we had via Natwest where i work.also I had to pay a £32 fee to get my car back .He has no people skills cutting me off whe I tried to explain and acussed me of ignoring him when he was talking to me through the payment system ,apparently I'm supposed to know he was talking to me. If I had just lost my card it would have been £22 but this considerate extremely rude individual charged me more. His people skills are shocking ,he was rude and how he became a manager is beyond me. So an ambulance ride after falling down a flight of stairs a d breaking. y bo es was a bad 3nogh day but then to be treated like this was uncalled for . please give this individual some customer service coaching as he is seriously lacking.

Big letters on banner above the entrance "Park all day for £5.50" Tiny letters "Early bird arrive between 6-9am" Con artists, cost me £22.00 for 5 hours. Very narrow lanes. Avoid

Great location We parked overnight and felt that the car was safe. Easy to book online. You have to scan your ticket to even walk into this parking area. Cost £22/night.

Had issue before with this car park but have given them the benefit of the doubt until today. When we arrived one lift out of four was working, we got back 2 hours later and all lifts out of service, all but one of the pay machines not working. This on the Saturday before Christmas when the car park was very busy. If you're unable to use stairs because of a disability or mobility issues and had used the lift when you arrived god help you getting back to your car! This car park was great when NCP owned it, since APCOA took over its gone down hill fast! If you can afford to avoid this car park at all costs!

The early bird at £5 for 12 hours is great value for this convienent car park. Easy Apcoa web site to use when booking in advance. The ticket issued at the barrier is yourkey to regain access to the car park via one of the two entrances - dont leave it in the car. As per other comments, the access ramp is tight, and the stairs are run down . But this is my parking of choice when driving into the city from the north.

Note to Management - Please make sure there are arrangements for pre-booked users to be able to enter the pedestrian access gate. I was surprised to see that i needed to have a validated ticket to be able to enter when there isn't even a bar code on the booking confirmation email...

Lift has been out of order for the last month!! The automatic door to the car park would not open. Several of us could not get to our cars. I pressed the call button for several minutes but no one answered. Eventually had to use another entrance. Terrible car park and definitely not worth the high cost!

Can't believe I never found this place until recently. Please make sure you book online ahead of time and take advantage of offers that are available on their Facebook site. Very well located.

Terrible. No working lifts. No tickets given. And you could only pay in advance. What’s the point. Can’t do auto pay at this site. And it’s filthy. Oh and half the floors are closed off. NCP is the only way to go in future.

Booked in advance for 24hr parking due to stay in a nearby hotel. Easy to book, entry and exit to car park easy. Spaces are just a bit tight but no more so than many others. Would definitely use again.

The entrance/exit areas and stairs are a bit run down and it can get very expensive being in the middle of the city center but the car park itself is good, well lit and with well marked out and quite generous spaces. One thing to consider is the approach ramp is quite tight, especially if you're not confident with the positioning of your car or if it is a particularly long it wide car.

Easy to use, booked in advance via Just Park. £16 from 1pm to 1am which was a great price considering the city was overflowing with 3 concerts on and hotels ripping you off asking for double and mainly treble their usual rate!

Pretty good option for central Manchester parking. £5.50 for all day if you enter between 6-9am. Spaces a bit narrow but easy enough to pay via app.

Was absolutely dreading going into Manchester to work, due to parking, a work colleague told me to park here, what an amazing carpark, 2 min walk from store, fantastic prices ( Early bird) and due to one mistake, by myself , the staff put right immediately absolutely no hassle and saved me money. Fully recommend.

Poorly signed posted, tight car park spaces, good location and probable cheaper than Arndale car park.

Easy to find with sat nav. Good location for northern quarter and city centre. Precooked easy to navigate in and out. Number plate recognition so no messing with tickets or barriers to get in and out. Only need one for pedestrian access.

Avoid this car park at all costs as the supervisor & a certain member of staff are racists!! I had to endure a 2 week training course and listen to them using racial slurs aimed at ethnic minorities whilst watching them on live CCTV. Certain staff members also record live CCTV images on there phones & send them to the supervisor mocking & laughing at the customer!! Avoid !!

Didn’t mind paying £22 for the night for peace of mind that my car was secure. Easy to find, tightish ramp on the way up but not really a problem. Got a ticket on the way in which I read that I’d need when returning via the pedestrian entrance, but someone else was entering at the same time so I didn’t need to use it. Gave my booking reference number at the barrier on the way out and was let straight out - no waiting around per some of the other reviews. Would use again if in Manchester.

Always park here when we travel to Manchester. A little pricey, but safe so definitely worth it. So all in all definitely one of the better car parks around the city centre. The ramp is a little tight going up, so if you have a big car, make sure you are a good driver!
