First time visiting this branch in Portland Street. Very spacious, busy but clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. I went to claim my birthday treat which was Lemon and Blueberry Ripple cake to takeout. It was delicious and the sweetness was perfect. Thank you for the birthday treat. Will visit again shortly for a proper tea break.

Comfortable cafe with decent coffee. Highly recommend the costa app. Collect beans for free coffee. Use the reusable cups for double the beans. It would be great if customers were encouraged to use reusable cups, especially for having in.

Good location, nice and welcoming staff. A calm and relaxing atmosphere, and of course.. great coffee.

Went to Costa today at portland Street the 2 girls who were working today jo and Karen were outstanding very efficient and polite it's make your day when you have people like thus serving the public will definitely be coming back here

There are plenty of Costa Coffee's in Manchester city centre and this is a very good one.the staff are very nice and helpful.the coffer was reasonably priced and tasted good.the store was clean and well presented.it is located on the corner of Portland Street and London Road close to public transport and the shops.it has easy access for the disabled.

They're not taking scottish pounds!!!!!Apparently many people tried to pay with faked ones. But they should check it, you don't have any rights not to take my real money just out of a measure and I am not obliged to pay by card either. I asked the young lady as a joke, if she takes northern irish pounds. She said whatever that is I am not taking it , strangely in a confident way. I don't think that should be the attitude towards customer. She also claimed that other branches don't take them as well. Well I just paid with scottish banknotes in Manchsster Airport Terminal 3...

Nice coffee and a a nice central coffee shop, however staff were a bit snappy. The tables weren't cleared for quite a long time after each customer left and there was only one bathroom for the whole shop which you needed a code to get into. Generally Costa is good, but I won't be coming back to this one.

Honestly the cleanest costa I have visited. Staff is lovely, especially Jowita who served me today, real Gem .My coffee was just perfect! Thank you

The staff in this Costa coffee shop are kind and helpful. Will have my full bean collection soon because I go back. Good place to chill.

The staff are amazing and work really hard.

Not so special, ok if you want coffee and take a pause while you walk in the city

be a more staff on clear up, 11 tables in usable, even customers were clearing the tables and putting them all together. Staff need to more friendlier when customers are talking. Apart from that service was good, drinks were warm, normal Costa Coffee.

Clean, good atmosphere. Staff can be a little distracted and slow sometimes though. Although always friendly.

Standard Costa coffee close to piccadilly Gardens. There is one at the other end of piccadilly Gardens aswell. Neither have an outdoor area which is shame. This one however has a work pod, if anyone needs a private work space. I personally would find it claustrophobic but it would definitely suit others.

Great service and pricing for a city centre café.

The atmosphere was quite ok and conducive for a meeting of 2 - 4 people.

A thriving place with helpful & professional staff. Good at working fast. For me a lucky discovery and good for lunch.

Came in 10/08/2022 around 3:30pm to get a Costa with my two friends. The lady with blonde hair serving us (I didn’t catch her name) was so polite, friendly and really made us feel welcomed and comfortable even though we were only there for a short while. I want to say thank you to her for adding more joy to our girly trip to Manchester 🥰

Very friendly polite staff. Quick service clean environment and still cleaning handles and railings.

I asked for a medium americano and I saw the girl put an espresso in a cup of water... So that would be an americano? I did not complain just because I have autism and anxiety disorders.

I like this place it’s near my school I come hear whenever I’m hungry. I recommend it👍

Would not go this Costa in Manchester again, coffee ok nothing to go back for and toastie falling apart not sealed correctly, no knife or paper napkin with toastie had to ask for them. Yep not a good coffee break before catching the train home.

Good willed staff but very slow service. Come here only if you want to wait for 20 mins for a latte.

Well the coffee was fast and so delicious! But the one problem was that their credit card reader was broken but I think it might be working in one or two days I guess it was my luck!😅

Amazing comfy area and environment inside the store. The staff is amazing and so kind. Definitely recommend the one at picadilly in Manchester. Great studying environment as well🙌🏼

Asked for small latte was served a regular. Asked to stay in. Was given papercup to take out ?. I was the only person being served and the shop virtually empty . How can you get a simple order wrong,?
