😠 Non stop calling once they open, to finally get through to be told everything is booked up for the day. All appointments are same day booking with no option to sit and wait. Very difficult to see anyone when it's a lottery if you can get through fast enough. Unable to book for future dates. Time... Impossible to book an appointment with the doctor. Lines open from 8 am, trying to connect for 20 min only to hear all appointment taken for the day! The same thing everyday! Not possible to speak with real person. Doors to the clinic locked, you can talk only trough the intercom, as if we were some kind of monsters! Shocked how these days patients are treated. NHS should be here to help not to take advantage of COVID and make the patients life even worse! Time to change clinic !

Impossible to book an appointment. Can call in from 8 in the morning yet most of the time you’re in a line for 30+ minutes and then get told no appointments left or you call for it to tell you that they can’t complete the call and it ends . 11 calls later at 8:30 I managed to get in the queue and be 30th 😠

Worst ever surgery. Impossible to get appointments no matter how serious your situation is. Phone lines don’t get answered in the morning when they do all appointments are gone. Edit: Things seem to have improved post covid lockdowns. The surgery now opens until late evening and weekend, and they are now able to offer appointments when requested.

I've only had to attend a couple of times, each time the surgery has been friendly and so have the GPs. However, I now need a steroid injection and I called up as requested but they couldn't pre-book me an appointment as their diaries hadn't opened. I was told to call on 24th and 26th for an appointment on the day - this is no good for me as I'm self-employed. I asked to be referred to a local hospital instead and was told this couldn't be done, the only other way was to pay privately. This seems such a backwards system I'm not actually sure I was given the correct information. Not sure where to go from here.

I've never had a problem with this surgery, yes it does get busy and sometimes it is annoying phoning up at 08:00 in the morning but every surgery are stretched to their limits in this day and age! Staff are always friendly and helpful,

Excellent service from Margaret, one of the receptionist staff. Change of process in appointment for blood tests meant that I had to book an appointment at the hospital. Margaret did this for me at a location that was more convenient. Excellent customer facing service which is refreshing to see in a public service organisation.

Given the pressures that GP surgeries are under at the moment I recently attended a face to face appointment with my young son. The receptionists were both helpful, smiley and welcoming. The doctor was brilliant . Very clean inside also.

Cannot get an appointment. Dr emanuel prescribed my daughter some antibiotics. He said keep giving her calpol too. I asked if he could also prescribe me with something similar to calpol (I have had this before of the doctor) anyway he told me that they don't do that and it would probably cost me more money than buying from the shop. I was very confused thinking about it but i don't have to pay for prescriptions for an 8 year old so i told him that because my daughter is under 18 she gets her prescription for free and he said "REALLY???". So he didn't put one on. And I didn't get any. I then rang for myself as I had a small car crash and they reception told me i have to go AandE. When i went to the hospital they were really annoyed that i was told that from my doctors. I rang the doctors back to book the next available appointment as I work and can't ring each morning and when I have been doing over the last week the phone hangs up and say sorry no one can take your call right now. So i said ill call in to book an appointment to be told DO NOT COME INTO THE SURGERY YOU HAVE TO RING" BUT YOU CANT GET THROUGH WHEN YOU RING!!!!! I really don't know what to do. I would like to see my doctor now and again.

Honestly the receptionists are so rude , they never want to help you they answer the phone like you are bothering them and you are inconveniencing them when it’s there job . I’ve been given wrong results a few times . I understand everywhere is busy at the moment but there is no need to be rude . We are just asking for help .

Trying to get an appointment all week, constantly busy signal. This morning i began calling at 7.57am and after 278 calls got through and was then on hold for 15 minutes before speaking to a receptionist, and oddly i had the doctors is now closed, then busy signal then the doctors is closed which i found strange. Surely there must be a better system as this one clearly leaves a lot to be desired. I have no complaints about the doctors or reception I just think that close to 300 calls to get through is ridiculous.

I have nothing negative to say about the support provided by this Practice. I know it can be frustrating sometimes getting through on the phone but at 8am when it opens, there is already a queue lining up outside & about 50 people trying to get through on the phone & only a limited number of staff dealing with this onslaught. I’ve been told occasionally that they have no appointment left on that day but I’ve never had to try for more than 2 days before I get an appointment. This is the same in every GP Practice that isn’t a Private Practice. I’ve never had a rude Receptionist either, some are more smiley than others but everyone has always been Professional. The Dr’s themselves have always been very generous with their time & I’ve always left the room feeling valued. I am sad to hear that Dr Blake has now left, she was wonderful, she worked so hard for me to get support with my medical issues & I can’t thank her enough for all of her advice & patience, whichever Practice she has gone to are very lucky. There could be a little more innovation by bringing other services in house but I don’t know the logistics of that but it should be explored. Overall, from my experience over many years being with this Practice - I would recommend it without hesitation.

My young son was poorly and quickly developed a wide spread red skin rash. Called the surgery to speak to a doctor, even before I finished my sentence I was told no doctor was available and referred to City Health, who in turn were useless. City Health didn’t bother returning my call even though they said a nurse from triage would call me within 30 minutes. Absolute disgrace of a service from both services as skin rash can be an indication of serious illness in children. It’s no wonder everyone ends up at A & E as you can’t even get a telephone consultation with a doctor.

A special mention to Kyrah who went above and beyond to help me after 6pm - got the Dr to issue a new prescription for my daughter who was suffering - can’t thank her enough as she could of quite easily said try again in the morning especially after a long day at work ! Fantastic customer service and resolved my issue in a professional and efficient manner

🫤 I have to say that the staff are mostly good. My gripe is how the practice is run and for whose benefit. My experience is that the practice has gone down and become more akin to a conveyor belt since Dr Nanavati retired. It appears to be run not for the convenience of patients. One has to phone 8am...

😠 A very poor experience. I paid for a MRI as I had an injury and I am a fitness teacher.
