Very disappointing fish and chips, the batter was two thick resulting in the inside being very doughy also this portion of chips was mainly the scrapings which were also full of odd fry bits . I won’t be going back in a hurry

Diarrhoea Been up all night with stomach pain being sick do not eat from here or you will get sick 🤢 The food is dreadful don’t know how they got 5 stars wouldn’t give them one disgusting is what it is if you give this place a bad review your food will be disgusting when I first ordered from here the food was great gave them a bad review and then it was all down hill from then on take my advice and don’t order from here or you will get ill🤮💩

I've had the chicken curry special and the chilli special- both are gorgeous! (The curry is my favourite and I would pay good money for their recipe😉) The price is more than reasonable at £5 for the special including chips, rice and a can of your choice. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I always look forward to enjoying your food. P.S please never stop doing the chicken curry😆

Lovely chippy took my grandkids we sat inside for our meal. My grandson had the chicken nugget kids meal & my granddaughter had the sausage kids meal. I had pudding chips & The really nice Chinese curry. The food was piping hot the kids liked as it felt like a treat and then the kids had the Tango slushy each. I will go again.

I had the most amazing Thursday special homemade chicken curry and rice from Frankie’s last week, highly recommend it and can’t wait to have it again this Thursday!

My son popped in for the first time the other day and said how friendly everyone was to him and he felt really welcomed. I called earlier today to ask about allergens and they were super helpful!!

What an absolutley lovely chippy all the staff are top and so friendly. The charity food give away was amazing today. Loads of people got the chance to eat for free thanks to the owner and Sacha, local counselor Olu and of course all the staff. Thansk so much for bringing this to our community at a time when wr are all struggling. No expense was spared. Quality if food was great even tho it was so so busy. Thank u so very much. Hope u all rest well tonight after a very long and busy shift.

went in as working close by today got chilli rice and chips and the chilli is the nicest i’ve ever had i don’t ever leave reviews for places but it was 10/10 homemade aswell i believe very friendly in there also

Food is always lovely and fresh, my fish was made to order, food was piping hot and the potions was great 👍 also noticed on the board they do good daily specials and home cooked curry, chilli and corned beef hash pie which is great for the winter nights. Will defo be trying the rest of the menu very soon

Fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce massive portion couldn't eat all of it but I tried, it tasted beautiful hope to eat in the cafe again 😋😋👌

Food arrived approximately 10 minutes after ordering from Just Eat. Delivery driver was lovely. Chips were the perfect balance between crispy and soft. Fish and English curry sauce was delicious. Generous sized portions. I ordered just for myself, but there was enough for 2 people. My new favourite chippy. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Good chips - they fry the fish to order and make a point of asking every customer as they enter if fish is wanted so there is a waiting time for the fish to fry however its worth the wait. There's also a dining in option.

The food from here is amazing. Larger than average portions, fish cooked perfectly as well and the service from all of the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend Frankie's Fish Bar to everyone!

The Gravy around!!! Food was great service was too. Artwork of Manchester on the back wall is phenomenal! Just wish it was open on Sundays too!!!
