Sathyanarayana temple is a very famous and it is very good temple to visit . On the top of the hill you can see the moustache on the Lord's face. Visit the temple in afternoon to avoid queue. This place is from 80 kms from rajamundry and 50 ons from kakinada. So many of apsrtc buses are available, you can climb stairs or take auto to reach hill lock. After tirupati in andhrapradesh ,annavaram is one of the most well known holy sites in india. It is the most visiting places in AP. The top of the hill is known as ratna giri,here satyanarayana swami is the main deity with anantha lakshmi on one side and lord shiva on another side . People can come here to do satyanarayana vratham, if they are unable to do in home. The tickets for performing the vratham in temple come in a verity of price ranges. The monument is stunning. As you defend the slope you can see the pamba river in all its beauty. They are conducting annadanam regularly for all the pilgrims.

You can perform sevas under various categories. 300 (Performed in various halls around main temple) 800 1500 (Performed near the feet of Satyanarayana Swamy) 2000 (1500 puja done in an Air conditioned hall, once performed you can pay visit to lord in few minutes) Best day to perform is on Pournami or Ekadashi You can go by foot or on a vehicle where vehicle entry is 40 rupees collected at the foot hill. There are quarters to stay. Vratam kit can be purchased in front of vratam ticket counter. Do not purchase flowers (they are marigold flowers and no guarantee that they will be place near God) Buy the vratam kit yourself. Its contents would be 7 coconuts 🥥 Half dozen banana 🍌 Hand full (200 gms) of flowers 💐 Betel leafs (50), Tamalapakulu If you buy it at temple then it costs 250 INR.

Even though they are displaying the room of choice you can pick but at the counter they wont give the choice of rooms you want. Servers wont work properly. The ticket counter persons dont have proper knowledge on systems. Until the technician come and check the network, they will play with phones.

This is a famous Hindu god temple and 110km distance from Vishakapatnam. U can reach either by bus or train route. I have visited after many years (after renovation) and i felt blessed. On weekday we went to Dharsan so we got peaceful Dharsan.

Dear Friends. Temple timings are Changed due to Covid 19. Timings from 6 AM to 5.30 PM only. And one more thing which is not accepted by all the devotees that only temple buses are going up hill no autos going up hills. Only own vehicles are allowed. But there is no chance to ordinary people to go up hill and coming down. By walk or Temple bus is the only way. Imp note: CRO office also shifted.before carona it was very near to temple. But now behind Prakash Sadan. Which is too long to devotees who come by temple bus.

Temple is on the bank of pampa river, can stay there temple committee is providing room facility(Ac/non Ac rooms) with affordable price. Opens at morning & have a break from 12:30 pm to 1 pm. Food in annadhana satram is also good.

Wonderful experience, along with lord's darshan. You guys even have residential facilities, there are tea and coffee shops which are available. Along with cool drinks. Being located on a mountain top. This makes the best view. There are even additions of a Marriage hall as well as function hall for performing functions. And we have wonderful scenic spots to click pictures. Winters are the best time to visit Annavaram. You can go by bus/ car/ train. Road journey right now is bumpy. Because of the extension of road. But the view is worth everything. Early mornings are beautiful. It's advisable to attend the temple early morning, if there are plans about performing vratham. There are food stall facilities too. The hotel rooms are comfortable, washrooms are clean.

The temple is situated on the top of a mountain which is accessible by road. You can enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. It usually takes 45-60 minutes (200rs ticket) for darshanam. Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple.

This temple is very famous temple and they perform Satya narayana vratham daily from morning 6 to evening 5. Ticket price for vratham range from Rs. 300 to Rs. 3000/-. We can buy vratham ticket as per our comfort. We have to pay extra Rs. 250/- for pooja samagri which includes 6 coconuts, tulasi and flowers. If we want we can buy these outside. And all other samagri will be given under vratham ticket itself. Vratham will be completed in 45 min to 1 hour, after completion if vratham they will give arvannam prasadam and will send to darshan. Their will be sundial and goshala on back side of temple. And there also washrooms available. We have to book rooms in advance on weekends.

Very nice temple at Annavaram situated at the banks of river pampa dedicated to Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana swamy. We need to deposit our mobiles before entering temple. At this temple , we need to go first to first floor to see the lord and come down to see his lotus feet and the his chariot . Darshan tickets are there and for special pooja and other sevas. Do visit and get blessed by this Lord and get your soul cleansed and enjoy peace of mind

Hill top view was best. Was able to do darshan very fast. Water facility was there, other goods shop was also there.

I visited this temple for the first time and loved the place. The Prasadam we get here is so tasty. I guess this is the only temple of lord Satyanarayana swamy. Hope to get another chance for swamyvari dharshanam.

Worship of lord Vishnu &siva as in same temple in India only one temple like this . Temple opens on 5:00 am - 9.00 PM CLOSES. HERE the most recommended varatham (or) nomu. Who done varatham here there wishes come true definitely. The prasadam of the temple is awesome never be tase like any were.

Darshanam : Free Darshana, Rs.200/- and other kind of darshanas are available. Foot path(350 steps) route & Ghat roads are modes of reach for the temple. Buses are available. Canteens, Commercial shopping complex and pooja samagri will be available. Phones are not allowed for darshan. Lockers, foot wear stands and toilets are available near the temple west gate. Elevators are available, differntly abled people has special facilities for the darshanam. Well chairs, elevators are available. Staff will available all the time. Toll charges are too heavy. Very condemning for 4 wheelers and private vehicles. Great place to visit and worship.

This is the temple of Shri Satyanarayan Bhagwan. Its located on top of the hill so you get amazing views from top. Temple is well managed and clean. Snacks shop is also available here. Mobile phones are not allowed inside so you will have to keep it in locker which is chargeable, 5 rs per phone.

Only temple in India of lord Shree Satyanarayana swamy.it is at hill.very pleasent short journey from bottom to top.need to pay some tax or fee to go by vehicle.bbut it is necessary for senior citizens and others who can not climb. You need to submit mobiles at entry . photography not allowed inside . Though mandir is open at afternoon one can not able to get darshan during afternoon navaidyam (afternoon meal for God)time approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The view from top and near dam is excellent.one can avail paid darshan and avoid long queue for darshan.vehicle parking available . If you travel from Pithapuram private and public auto available. Private auto we paid 1200 rupees.public auto charges 40 rupees one way .you need to climb the hill.

The place is quite good. We have booked the vratham seva on the official website. The temple management is not good. No proper maintenance and transportation are worse. The auto drivers will just loot you. Worst experience for travel and food in annavaram.

The temple is maintained very neat and tidy. it is painted white and looks very nice. the structure is as per vedic styles, prevailing in South India. There were priests, with vedic knowledge, conducting various ceremonies pertaining to the temple poojas etc.Temple was not crowded today. Barasaalas, Marriages, Vratas also solemnised in front of the deity.

This temple is situated on top of a beautiful hill. This temple structure is like a tirupati. Only this Shivan God has a moustache. There are charges for Devadarshan. If you can stand in line for an hour then you can go for free darshan. Mobiles, cameras are not allowed and there is a token system where items can be handed over. 🙏

Pros:- Nice Darshan. Temple is Spacious & clean. Good arrangements for Prasadam. Good gardens & ambience. We liked the Rasi Vanam & the big lake. Cons:- No proper signboards. Pligrims getting confused & lost. Maintenance of Rooms (in Mahadev Block) is zero. Both the Lifts were not working for over 12 hours; very difficult for elders to reach higher floors. No AC Remote. Fan Regulator was not working. So it was quite chilly. No health faucet in the western commode. Bedsheets & Pillowcases were cheap & dirty. Broken buckets. Zero Service. They banned Plastic bottles; but the same were being sold in the counter infront of the building.

Visit early mornings if you are free, the free dharshana is great and I don't know but temple became some what commercial as for archana and things you need to pay 200rs which is very high...and even Prasadam is 20rs ... earlier it was 15rs.... As is the norm with many temples in this region, people love to come to the place but dislike the management authorities & their business making ways. Every other thing is made a business here. After paying Rs.800 for a satyanarayan vratham pooja ticket you have to shell out an additional Rs.230 for buying the puja samagri which consists of a few coconuts & some flowers, leaves amongst others. I strongly believe in the lord but despise the way the temple management making a business out of everything.

National Highway number 5 passes through Annavaram. The bypass road (NH - 5) goes straight and to visit the temple take right turn ( while travelling from Vizag to Rajahmundry ) in the junction near the Annavaram. It takes two and half hours from Visakhapatnam and from Rajahmundry side it will take 2 hours. Separate pooja halls are available for offering special pujas. This temple is located at a hill top. Vehicles are allowed to climb up the hill ( one way ) from south side road ( toll fee Rs 20 ) and down by north side road. At the top of the hill guest houses are available. Many mirages are performed here so during this seasons you may have to book in advance if you a plan to stay here. There is a facility of quick Darshan in busy seasons. The main statue is covered in two floors. The ground floor is for Pada darshan or to view the feet of the god. The first floor is the upper part of the Lord Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy. Free darshanam is with normal que and special darshan with additional fees of either INR 25/- or INR 116/- are also available. Annavaram By Rail Annavaram railway station is located at main Chennai Howrah (Kolkata ) railway line. Many trains stops here and from the railway station the temple is 3 KM. While going towards Chennai side ( from Vizag ) this temple falls in right side and can be seen from the moving trains. Railway station and passing trains are visible from the temple also. Annavaram devasthanam operates buses from Railway station to temple and there are Autos available to reach the top of the hill near temple. Super fast trains does not have stoppage here.

Nice temple, with a feel good experience. The location is good and also with good transport facility. At times there is rush but also well maintained. The free lunch provided by the temple is of very high standards that is not provided by many other faiths. Kudos for the standards this temple maintain .

Best place for newly wedded couple to perform Satyanarayana Brat. The temple management is doing a great job. Out of many facilities, the free food distribution to thousands of devotees is something appreciable. We enjoyed spending our time here.

The accommodation is literally very bad ......go for Pvt lodge or hotel .....but the temple tour is gud....& The prasadam is yum yum price of ₹20
