I am usually such a big fan. I always insist that my noodles are bought here contrary to the protests of those around me. I bit my tongue when the raw veg was implemented. I kept quiet when the price was increased, I understand that the workers are doing their best. But today the noodles are sad. I feel horrible knowing that I agree today that they aren't great. They are down right bad. My noodles look and taste a day old and reheated, the servers have you wait so long go and the raw veg is wasted everytime I order from here. They are bland. If it's about prices give notice to a raise in prices. Adjust. The. Portions. Please. If it's too high we the consumer will react accordingly but bestie I can't keep defending you. To the owner: I appreciate that you have found time to respond to some of the complaints. But please take these as positive criticisms, we the consumers are disappointed and frustrated, take head to our suggestions and stop providing a defensive front. I won't be calling a strike, I won't be calling for the health inspector I only want to be heard. I have hope in this restaurant so I'll eat from here again give you the second chance you deserve but (not that it will affect business all that much if you lose one 😅) I can't keep denying myself the pleasure of enjoying my meal while continuing to support a business that can't appreciate my input as a customer. You are a consumer you understand the struggle, extend your sympathies.

I would have bought food here several times but the wait time continues to be ridiculously long, even with the place being empty. I called in my order before going into the restuarant I called ahead in excess of 20 minutes and still had to go in and wait about the same time to get the meal. When I asked the cashier what would be the reason behind the order taking so long to be prepared. She informed me that the person that takes the order isn't in the shop and so it takes a while for them to get the order and prepare it. The tone she responded in was dismissive and rude. Customer Service continues to be an issue. The staff is extremely rude and there is no empathy displayed and let's just say zero care in the world. Imagine spending your lunch time waiting for a meal that was ordered before you got there. The staff has zero regards for the customers as while I was waiting you had 2 workers who got into an argument with customers waiting to be served, using profanity and all, is it that there is no value placed in the job or respect for the customers? Needless to say I realize that for each low rating that has been listed here, management tends to attack the reviewer rather than point out what will be done differently. Can't be the way we conduct business, these should be seen as learning opportunities to improve business not to argue and go back and forth.

Asian cuisine is definitely on my favourite food list and Flaming Wok is one of the restaurants that I go to whenever I crave it. It's located in Midway Mall, Mandeville, a busy shopping complex. Cantonese Roast Chicken, spicy Mallah Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork are pleasers. There are also delicious, healthy salads to choose from, which come with mashed potatoes, meats of your choice and steamed and raw vegetables. All affordably priced. Call in your order to save time and consider using Flaming Wok to cater your next event.

I waited 23 mins and when thought that my food was coming these PEOPLE just started to make it. All I order was chicken lo mein...UNPROFESSIONAL. FUNNY I SHOULD HAVE CHECK THE RATINGS FIRST BEFORE I WENT. 3 and half star is bad

The food is okay. Not the worst. Not the best. Twice I have ordered 2 portions of meat and I was served only one. Then it looks ridiculous for me to sit an hour and wait for them to deliver half spoon of mallah chicken with the driver to correct the order. But given the small portions, I refuse to let it go to waste. Dear Management, I'm not sure where you have been advised of how to handle customer service. You never go on a customer's review and argue with them. It's a really poor reflection on management. It's better to not respond as it speaks volumes about you. Anyone with very basic customer service training knows this. Please don't do it. It's a sure fire way to put off your current customers and also to deter others who might see the way you react defensively every time someone reviews your service. It reeks of unprofessionalism.

Really good service. The owner is really accommodating and the food is so tasty. They do catering as well. No longer open on Sundays. A new branch is open in Junction, St Elizabeth.

Reasonably priced takeout and you get a lot. Your enjoyment of the food is directly linked to how hungry you are. Stay away from the Sweet and Sour chicken. Everything else is usually decent. I didn't learn my lesson the first time and subsequent times after apparently as I keep ordering it and get the same results. The chicken was like trying to eat a car tire. The tiny fork I got couldn't pierce the meat and I had to use a metal one instead with a knife. It barely moved down my throat and sat in my stomach for hours. I've learnt my lesson. Every other meal I have tried so far is cooked with more love than the Sweet and Sour. The other concerning thing about this store is the wait. It's always a 20+ minute wait. Another thing, on one particular day, I got there 7 minutes before close (6PM), the door was still open, sign still said Open, lights were on, music still playing yet, as I entered, the cashier shook her head at me and said that they were closed and was not polite whilst counting money. I think if you are going to close early, don't make it appear as if you are open. Since parking is typically an issue, I'd rather have not bothered with that hassle.If you close at 6, close at 6 otherwise amend the time. Maybe since the wait is typically 20+ minutes, they were concerned that they couldn't serve me in 6-7 minutes 🤷🏽‍♂️ It's normally good when the owner is on site and he seems like a very nice person. I think if he could clone himself, the food and service would improve. When he's not there, unfortunately his employess aren't up to the task.

I bought chicken chow mein.... The price was really weird..... I think it was $1891JMD.... Anyways, the meal had a wide variety of vegetables... It tasted really average... I hear their mallah dishes a good though and less weirdly priced... I'd visit again but not for the chow mein..

I recently started my clinical rotation near by at the hospital and it has quickly become my new favorite spot..I get a salad with bell peppers and (sweet and sour chicken.).they refer to it as sweet peppas😀 ..little mash potatoes on the side for only 600 ..I'm hooked...the salad has shredded carrots and raisins .yummy..not too heavy just right 😘

The wait time even if your order is called in, is unacceptable. The food is good even tho there are inconsistencies. The staff needs to be trained better, obviously they dont work well under pressure and the team work is not evident among them . They are often heard snapping at each other in the presence of the customers. That's not good. I give a 3 star for or a 7/10 for the food.

Love this place, best Chinese food in Manchester by far. Have healthy options too. Would highly recommend. Also really reasonably priced.

C'Mon Flamin' Wok, do better please. I was once a satisfied customer. Evertime I visit Mandeville I come here. Ordered 2 meats a d got only one it seems. Pure bones and gravy.

I tell you, the food is so good at this little spot! Whenever I am in Mandeville, I always have lunch here. They offer a nice variety of meal options as well. The staff are friendly too and they try to get your order to you in the shortest possible time. They accept both cash and cards, which most Chinese restaurants only accept cash, so that's a plus! You can do take-out or dine-in, but the space is limited. It is on a plaza, so the parking is good. Five stars.

Expect to wait a minimum of an hour for your food; whether you order ahead or not, the service is EXTREMELY SLOW!!!! I've placed an order before, waited for 45 minutes to pick up sed order; after arriving, I ended up spending another 40 minutes waiting🫤 .It seems they prioritize deliveries, and while the food is good, the service can be a drawback. Fix It....

Authentic Chinese dishes mixed with great, tasty Jamaican flavours. Reasonably priced which makes dining fairly easy and simple. A very relaxed atmosphere.Excellent menu variety . Good customer service.

It's ok. Long wait. Consistency needs some work though. I've been there around 15 times. Food was bomb most times but some days a bit flat.

Overall nice staff, however, bit of a wait as the food is very good, tasty and popular so a lot of deliveries were being made to be biked out and we only stopped as we were out all day on our way home and too late to cook. My only complaint was whilst waiting for our food and sitting back and observing that although they have a big sign on their door saying "no mask, no entry", they were not adhering to the rules themselves so was double-standard because half of the staff serving customers at the front and the lady on the till either had their masks down under their nose which is pointless as the nose is more vulnerable, you cannot close your nose or were not wearing it at all and was pulled down under their chin and even allowed a few customers and their delivery guy in with no mask on so are not adhering to the rules as this is NOT "safe practice" or keeping customers safe or themselves, plus more than one person was using the phone and none of the staff were disinfecting that phone and this is how easily viruses spread and this has happened on my very first and second visit over the last three weeks, so unfortunately, they get marked down a star for this and it makes my family and I very reluctant to go back again for a take-away during this time of COVID because of unsafe practices.
