    1 star rating was awarded because there wasn't a lower to give. I arrived around 9pm with other relatives only to be told that my booking was cancelled to allow anther guest to have a cheaper booking. I was left with nowhere to go. Whilst talking to a female at the desk a little man appeared and said "it is what it is" so I was left with nowhere to go in the night in the middle of nowhere with my sister's funeral being the next day. STAY SWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. I would not stay there even if you paid me to do so. h my sisters

    Jamgolia is a ripoff. I wonder why they have such good reviews. We were booked for five nights, we checked out the next day. Accommodations and service is a zero and cheap looking. They charged us for an extra night that we didn't use. The overnight food thwy served us we didn't eat it. The breakfast was overnight food soak in the pot water you could see the the slimy on the food. I wouldn't feed my dog. Plumbing sucks taking a shower foot soak in water, brushing my teeth I had to put my hand in the water to pull out the trap so that the water could go down. How can you advertise pool, last minute you send email pool not in use, there's no beach near by, we work hard looking forward to a drama free vacation what we experience at this BnB was horrible. We couldn't stay there another night. Our complaints weren't valid to them. We are the customer, your suppose to make sure your guests are happy.the stay weren't free. Even if it was free we would refuse it. Thats how bad it was. I would never recommend or stay there ever again. We will dispute the extra night charged.

    My sister booked in on Thursday July 21 and her room was broken into on the night of July 22. The matter was reported to the owners but to no avail. The matter was never investigated and was taken so lightly by owners. Please be very careful when booking into this bed and breakfast breakfbreakfastbr

    It was a fun visit. My family and I purchased the pool pass which costs $1000 each for the adults and the children were free both 4 years old. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The water however was cold, so I do recommend visiting over the summer. Food can be purchased and its reasonable but you are allowed to bring your own if you so desire. So overall it was great 👍

    The rooms are lovely. The owner is warm and welcoming. Staff is polite. Grounds well kept. The pool and Jacuzzi needs upgrading and the menu for breakfast need to be upgraded. Overall a lovely place to stay for a weekend getaway.

    The outside/common areas are maintained very well. The chef was phenomenal, polite and food is great. For the price, it’s worth it but please beware. The rooms had some issues. In my room, the AC was not running cold. Spoke to the receptionist and information was not communicated to the owner. During that inconvenience, no alternative was given. The receptionist did not offer a fan, nothing. Speaking of, My family and I spent 3 days here, anytime I asked the receptionist for anything she seemed to always have an attitude or walk away giggling as if I was a bother. ALWAYS on her phone. Her tone, urgency to react was terrible. The next day, the owner took the necessary steps to get it fixed within the hour of speaking to her. The rooms had a lot of cob webs in the corner or ceilings and dead insects in the corner of the hallway, even with the housekeeper coming to clean every other day. Due to the area, expect flying cockroaches. My parents room had mold in the bathroom, room and air conditioner. The receptionist advised due to the rain, it happens. No alternative was given for that as well until we spoke to the owner and the housekeeper came to clean the mold. Bottles for water was reasonable price but go shopping and bring your own things. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is very nice. Pool was nice but if bringing kids, bring your own floaty as this place doesn’t offer and you’re swimming at your own risk. Internet connection was in and out when the place was fully booked. Netflix and YouTube was the only available options to watch in my room. Safety is 100% good. Gates are locked by a certain time, cameras all over the place. All in all, the owner is good but the receptionist brings the place down, she needs to be replaced.

    Nothing to do there. Far from any interesting thing. They hosted a wedding without telling and without any compensation because we could not use the garden or the pool and could not order dinner - thet sent us to look for fast food.. Pool is filthy dirty - 1.5m deep and you can't see it's bottom. Staff was nice. Place is clean and garden looks very nice. Rooms are big but empty. No amenities or any type of cooking/preparing/refregirator. Nothing.

    stay 10/14-10/17 a total of five adults and two minors stayed at the hotel and a total of three rooms were booked Complaint from room 203 Trash nor towels were changed for the three day stay, even though we were told it would be Mattress hard Bathroom smelled like mildew Ants problem in the room No air condition in hotel main corridors Dining hall looked like it was set up for bingo night at my grandma's house HOSTS LIVES AT FACILITY WITH ENTIRE FAMILY RATING 000000000000000 THIS FACILITY DOES NOT HAVE HOT WATER AND DO NOT LET THE MALE HOST TELL YOU DIFFERENTLY BETTER BE USE TO COLD SHOWERS IF YOU BOOK HERE GET YOUR HOT WATER HEATER FIXED!!!!!!! YOU ARE A LIAR WE SPENT OUR MONEY WITH YOU, YOU DIDN'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH US! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NO COMPASSION OR EMPATHY FOR CUSTOMERS

    Tranquility is in the atmosphere 😍. However, the place needs a bit of improvement and more staffing. One guess was extremely rudd. However the chef was nice.

    It was not really a great experience. Water had to be paid for if you wanted to have some with a meal. That's absolutely absurd.

    Let me tell you about cleannnnn!!! I got to visit here and I would go back again and again. The staff was kind and the food was good and the town is accessible from there just a quick lil drive and you are in the town. I would recommend.     (i) demand refunds/discounts - never asked for this (ii) forego the settlement of bills - paid our bill during checkout and all items charged to room without complaint (iii)to demand that courtesy be extended for lost/damaged items- we were going to pay to replace the missing room key in JA currency. Host told us it $35 US which we did debate because thats excessive. Asking for a discount/courtesy is not a foreign concept, its common practice. and we should not be made to feel guilty about this request, considering all the other issues we listed in previous review. What Consumers Really Want When Something Goes Wrong, since it appears you ARE NOT well versed in customer service: 1. To be treated with dignity 2. An assurance that my problem won’t be repeated 3. Service/product fixed 4. To be spoken to respect and empathy 5. Offending company puts itself in customers shoes 6. An explanation of why the problem occurred 7. A thank-you for my business 8. AN APOLOGY 9. Money back 10. Room to express anger/tell side of the story 11. Financial compensation for the lost time, inconvenience GOOGLE IT!!!!
