It's a nice taxi park, there are several bars here so you can have a drink while you wait on your vehicle to arrive or for it to load. In Jamaica privately owned public transportation makes up more than 95% of all public transportation across the country and they do not operate based on a time schedule, instead they leave the park when all the seats in their vehicles have been occupied, or as we say here when they have gotten a load, or if they are chartered. They have several food stalls here so you can also grab a bite while you wait. They have hotdogs, soup, jerked-chicken, and breakfast sandwiches. There are other taxis here as well not just Mandeville taxis. There are taxis to Balaclava, Goshen, Gutters and several other locations between Santa Cruz and Mandeville.

The taxi men are the worse. They will rush down on you like ants attacking a sugar lump and even after you choose who you're going with, they will still try to get you to come in their vehicle. And the cars at the back of the park always try to load their car first and then have trouble coming out of the park.

Regular bus terminal could use some improvements

Public transportation is horrendous here There is such chaos and disorder here Every taxi driver plying the same route desires to leave simultaneously There is a real 'cut throat' here Consequently, you'll find some drivers parked in the entrance to the park I guess this gives a ' jump start' They will lie and tell you they need only one to go just to have you enter their taxis You must be clever not to allow any of them to coerce you into entering taxi Simply stand back and examine the situation before you decide to travel with a driver Most of them do not have the passengers interest at heart All they simply care about is a ' load'

It's a great place

The park is over crowded and yet passengers are hard to get..which means I have to sit in a taxi up to 45-50 minutes...So annoying and upsetting.

When you go to Jamaica you have to pass through Mandeville atmosphere there is totally different because you're in the mountains it's always cool very good temperature make your skin looking all good

It normally takes me like about 15 mins the most to be on my way, that day it took me almost 2 hrs.

You can get a cab from here to anywhere on the island

This park need to be improved for cars to fit better, in times like these when social distance is a must there's no space for that much less the amount of cars in there, it's convenient due to how quick you can get a taxi but if it improves the set up it can be more safe to sit and wait for a taxi or bus to go where you want.

Sometimes it's jammed up there because the drivers have to park their cars Ina line. Sometimes a taxi takes awhile to leave on there way. There is a "Juicy patties" restaurant right beside there as well so while you wait grab a bite. 😉

It's OK I guess don't have a problem with it

Where taxis are gathered for many towns. It's sometimes crowded, and busy. Be careful of the loader men(the ones getting passengers for their individual buses),as they tend to rush the commuters sometimes. But it's always good to sight the place

Nice hub to get to your destination whether May Pen, Spanish Town, Kingston, Montego Bay , Savanna La Mar , Christiana, Spalding , Santa Cruz etc but too many hustlers and back up men around. Can't manage it
