    Killa bhag in Mangalvedha is a historical place having a great historical background of shivaji maharaj and Sangli sansthan panchayat. It is surrounded by 4 buruj for the fortification of Killa. Due to the fort Marathi meaning Killa name is Killa bhag. Old sculpture and temples are in Killa. Many more historical monuments are there

    Mangalwedha fort Presently house various govt offices. Fort buruj on all sides are in very depleted state. There are numerous stone idol in the premises. There is one Satisheela, Mandir stamba, Some Murti and a part of a vereghal

    A calm site, attractive for those who like less crowd and simple neighbourhood... In fact, local rikshaw-valah was totally unaware of this 'Fort' which is hardly a kilometre away from localMSRTC bus stand... Nearby Siddheswar temple is the known landmark, Google Maps can take you to the spot...
