The food was absolutely terrible for an Asian fusion place. Shouldn’t even carry an Asian name or have Asian dishes at all. The pad Thai I ordered “angry chicken” was some strange sour sauce with two pieces of chicken mostly all veggies NOT pad Thai sauce whatsoever and it was COLD! I complained to the waiter and he said it supposed to be a cold dish… what pad Thai is served cold? No idea. The Japanese omelette fried rice dish they tried to recreate was horrendous. When you cut the egg omelette sauce or cheese is supposed to come out and it was just a giant omelette on top of white rice with little pieces of spam…. The beef and broccoli $40!!! Was saltier than salt water I drank in the ocean. Lobster pasta….. the sauce was bland. I don’t know how this place got good reviews… for the price and location it’s a 1 star. I’d only give it half a star if I could because only thing good were their fries. Pics below of these “Asian”dishes

Beautiful ambiance inside and out. It is always busy in the front, especially the bar area. For good reason though. Drinks are phenomenal. I had a lychee martini, non alcoholic, and it was beautifully done and tasted fantastic. The table service is great. They are really attentive. The staff is quick to refill drinks and clean off the table as you go. The food was delicious. I loved my dish of braised beef with peanut noodles. So much flavor! And very generous for the prefix. The prefix allowed me an appetizer of choice, i picked the chicken skewers. It came with two generous skewers. Then the entree and a dessert. For dessert i picked the banana wontons. It came with lilikoi tasting like homemade whipped cream and scoop of sorbet. The sorbet was delicious! Definitely a great place for lunch. Great price, fantastic service, and top tier service.

Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya! Good place to eat in one of the most expensive and exciting malls on Long Island, Americana in Manhasset. This Asian Fusion restaurant was pricey, as expected. However, it wasn't too expensive. I enjoyed the martinis. Edamame and then the Vegetable Dumplings are worthy of appetizers but small. The main course was real good. Wok Beef and Broccoli, Skirt Steak, Maki Rolls (Spicy Tuna and Seared Salmon) and Veggie Fried Rice had an egg on top, nice touch. Dessert was Banana Wontons and Green Tea Brownie. All good. The vibe was Manhattan styled. Dj, low lights, packed bar. I recommend it for a nice meal.

There is a certain energy as soon as you walk into this place. The music, the wall to wall people at the bar, the fantastic staff and the beautiful space. It really is a nice restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. I was in Tokyo in October and the Sashimi here is the closest thing to the Sashimi in Japan that I have tasted on Long Island. With that said, every dish was fantastic. Speaking of fantastic....our server Evelyn was tremendous. She was a wonderful professional, provided great service, was genuine and really made our dining experience special. One of the best servers I have come across. I truly enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back.

This place seems to have a case of emperor-has-no-clothes-syndrome. What is up with all the 5 stars? The presentation alone in the "good" reviews is laughable. A stale piece of matzo with tuna on top and a tasteless white sauce between them plus greens haphazardly tossed on top is "sushi pizza." The crispy rice with flat, wet, tuna MUSH on top was offensive. I'm not even going to say anything about that tuna roll. And somehow they managed to make the ginger and wasabi look diseased. I would normally not bother to write something like this but this 'meal' was about $73 on the bill. This place is playing y'all.

The location is prime! The ambience is awesome. The service was a matter of fact kind of, no friendliness, no frills. The food I ordered, just ok. I had ribs, was too sweet and sticky. Spicy tuna Sushi was full of rice with hardly any fish. However, the French fries was to die for!!! So tasty, so yummy, melted in one’s mouth. I loved the pellets of sea salt on the French fries. My cocktails, nice. Mushrooms with bok choy, great! Definitely worth a visit if only for the ambience and the fries😁

Very nice Asian fusion restaurant located on very upscale shopping mall. You absolutely have to try their Wasabi Bloody Mary and Tuna pizza. I also really like their banana wonton dessert. The place has indoor and outdoor seating.

Very popular place in expensive area.Visited this place on a Sunday so they seated me at a table very quickly. But I'm sure that on Friday and Saturday you need to book a table in advance. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and in combination with excellent food I can say that I would visit this place more than once.I want to say thank you for the great service and great food

Very interesting menu and food was good. I would recommend the braised beef but I wasn't crazy about the noodles that came with it. Not cheap to eat here.

Great restaurant, great staff, great drinks and lovely atmosphere. A bit on the expensive side, but once you taste the food or drinks, it’s all worth it. I was happy with my old fashioned so it’s a plus for me. Family loved it, celebrated the big 9 for the boy, he loved it.

The food is average, the waiters are slow, the coffee machine didn't work. I can not say that the taste of food impressed me.

Great restaurant! The food is great and bar menu as well . A good place for a dinner and after 10 PM it becomes a bit more like a bar anturage and the crowd tends to change . Definitely a good place to spend a with drinks or partner. Michelin restaurant o they have good standards .

Toku Modern Asian offers a pretty good dining experience with decent food and okay cocktails. However, there were a few issues with their seating policy, which wouldn't allow them to seat us until the whole party arrived, even if one person was running late. Additionally, the service was average, and all the food arrived at once, which can be overwhelming. The restaurant seemed over-crowded, with busboys and waiters constantly bumping into us as they passed by. Despite these minor issues, the food itself was enjoyable, with a good range of Asian dishes that were cooked well and had decent flavors. The restaurant's ambiance is trendy and modern, making it a great spot for a night out with friends or a casual date. Overall, Toku Modern Asian is a decent option for a night out, with good food and a trendy atmosphere, but be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

This is a very busy and loud place. If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this is not it. Food is decent, but not worth the price, waiter recommended a tuna salad, it was cold and boring, and didn't go with hot appetizers, at all. Staff is courteous and professional. This is more of celebrate a friend's birthday place.

Never disappointed when coming here. It was nice to go for lunch and see that it was not packed like it normally is for dinner on weekends. The ambiance is nice the food is delicious and there's always a ton of different selections as well as their drinks.

The ambiance of the restaurant is good, dark and loud. The decor is great. Food is great too and the service is excellent. I ordered sushi and sashimi combo and it was great and delicious. Their fries are also good and the shrimp dumplings are tasty.

This is a fusion of Japanese food with some Corean, Chinese, and Thai dishes. Came in a Saturday without a reservation, so we were seated outdoors. Our server was attentive and not rude like some servers inside. Food has a lot of flavor (from drinks to dessert), so it's definitely not your traditional Japanese spot. We had the marinated galbi, which you can cook yourself in a small hot stone. We went for the most fusioned rolls (with jalapeños and yellowtail) and pilaf (it tasted more like a chinese fried rice). In short, if you are tired after shopping, this is a better choice than Cipollini(same owners) if you are looking for a South Beach "party" scene and flavorful food.

Have been coming to Toku for years nice place for lunch and dinner. The drinks are awesome and they have really good appetizers my favorites are rock shrimp tempura, kobe riverstone bbq and spicy tuna wonton chips. For main dish I recommend the crispy hoison duck and the marinated soy skirt streak. The sushi is good but not amazing. It's a happening spot for dinner so make reservations in advance.

All of the poll restaurants are amazing, one better than the other. The management and owners are so nice and hospitable. It’s truly the best food on Long Island with the best service. Nothing but 5 stars and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Mr. Poll is so nice and treats his customers as if they are family.
