We were hoping that this would be a wonderful experience based on the reviews and the atmosphere of the location. Hope was strong when we ordered our food even though the two people working up front were busy trying to watch a football game on a tablet instead of working the counter. All of that faded when we tried the actual donuts. These were the most bland and tasteless donuts we have had and they didn't even taste fresh. The bacon on top of the maple bacon donut was absolutely disgusting. It literally tasted like grocery store salad bacon, it was chewy and not crispy and at times completely inedible and I had to spit it out. The trash cans were overflowing and the bathroom was a complete wreck and disgusting. Their coffee was also disappointing and tasted cheap. I would not recommend this place for donuts and would look elsewhere in town there are much better options that are not as flashy because they put their love into the food and not into merchandise that overflows the entire seating area.

absolutely love varsity donuts!! best donut place in mhk and one of my fav places to grab a snack. also, they currently have amazing pumpkin donuts! so good. 🤤

Enjoyed the donuts, they had plenty of varities to choose from and they were reasonably priced. They've got shirts, stickers, cups and other things buy there as well!

Great variety of affordable gourmet style doughnuts. Love the many varieties and the appealing look and presentation. Very nice and clean shop. The taste of the doughnuts were very good and tasted exactly how you expected from the name of the item you order. Delicious

Would definitely recommend planning a birthday party here, they charge only $6.50 per child that attends the party and each child gets 2 donuts to decorate, they also give the option to play with donut dough! The staff was SUPER HELPFUL, friendly and always ready to help. In the past I have also gone here on occasions for a quick sweet treat, but the experience I had today definitely tops the cake. Keep up the good work Varsity Donuts!

Was told to call the week of our order. We wanted donuts for our wedding. Gave them the date a month ago and tried to order and they told me the don’t take orders for that far out. Now we can’t even order donuts cause it’s a game weekend and they are fully booked. If you’re planning on having donuts at your wedding go somewhere else. Would give zero stars if I could.

These are the donuts I wish I had closer to home! Every time I'm in Manhattan, Varsity is one of the few places that I refuse to miss. The Vanilla Honeymooner has been a long-time favorite and the blueberry Otis is a solid runner-up. If you want delicious donuts, you'll find them here!

What can I say the donuts are amazing ! There were a ton of people there but they marched through the line like lightning ! They're all very friendly and nice !!
