I’m shocked that the overall rating is at 4. Only reason they are getting stars from me is because their group fitness classes are tough and fun (try Maddie or Marjean classes!), and because Amber the personal trainer is awesome! They have a wide variety of equipment but it is always broken. Today I counted 5 treadmills, 2 stair steppers, bathroom sink, and sauna were all broken.. and I’m sure there’s more to add to that list! The place is absolutely disgusting. Is there any cleaning service?? Dust and grime everywhere. Trash cans are always full and spray bottles and paper towels are always empty. You would think it would be easy to manage but front desk staff is more concerned with sitting on their cell phones than helping out the gym. Last but not least, can you get one more water fountain? How is it that this big of a gym only has one water bottle fill up station. I’ve been a member for a couple years and it has severely went down hill since the beginning. But what do they care? As long as they are making money and it’s always packed they won’t seriously look into these concerns.

It’s affordable, and even then the prices are going up unannounced, and it’s not worth it. The machines are constantly broken and do not get fixed in a timely manner whatsoever. The environment can make people feel very uncomfortable and the front desk does an overall poor job of dealing with harassment and instills little confidence in members regarding this. While big, the gym is often overcrowded. The sinks in the locker room rarely work and the cleaning stations are often out of paper towels or cleaning spray. All this would maybe be worth it at $12 a month but not at $17 a month since they upped the price. If you can afford it, avoid Crunch.

Absolute scam. I tried to cancel my membership for a few months before the yearly fee of $59.99 was charged. every time I spoke to someone they told me I needed to speak to the manager. The manager was never available. I ended up calling when I wasn’t even at the gym to try and get a hold of the manager, but they were never there. Once I was told the manager was supposed to be there, but never showed up. I get charged the yearly fee after countless attempts at canceling my membership and I call to try and get a refund. I finally get a hold of the manager after four straight days of calling (sometimes multiple calls per day) and he is refusing to refund me despite my countless attempts at previously cancelling. He was rude and unhelpful. Everyone on the corporate line for Crunch says that only the manager can issue a refund, but of course, the manager says they can’t do that. They just want your money. For the year I was at crunch the paper towels were constantly empty, spray bottles empty, employees just standing around, etc. You do not get what you pay for.

Multiple machines have been broken for most of the year, with no signs of change. Already hard enough to access machines, but broken machines make it harder, hard to justify continuing paying. Cleaning supplies is always empty. If the machines were cleaned once a week, management would know which machines were broken....................Please don't respond with the cookie cutter answer "sometimes a piece of equipment requires a part that we don’t have and as soon as it comes in, we will have that machine up and running. If you see a broken piece of equipment please let the front desk team know, as it may already be in our maintenance log" Update: I reached out to management 3 weeks ago, never heard back. Change review score to 1 star.

A coworker recommended I get a membership here because I was dissatisfied with Planet Fitness and was looking for better amenities. During my tour I was pleased at what Crunch had to offer. However, this quickly changed. Lately I've noticed (and many other reviewers say the same) broken equipment, the women's sauna is out of order, broken lockers, and paper towel dispensers not stocked. This has been going on for several weeks now. I'm downgrading my membership plan because it's a rip off to be paying for a facility that isn't maintaining their equipment. Please address these issues! Updated this review to one star on 7/3: I sent an email to management regarding the women's sauna being broken and asked for an ETA on it being fixed. I never received a response. Also, after continued visits to this gym I noticed little to no improvements on the other issues I mentioned. I cancelled my membership and I'm going back to my previous gym.

I have had a membership at Crunch for a few years now and have been able to make such progress with my goals through this gym!! The variety of machines and equipment is very nice. I love the sauna! The staff has been helpful to any inquiries or issues I’ve ever had. I like that they offer a referral program as well!

Many downfalls to this gym. People are exiting quickly. Broken equipment, broken amenities, filthy. Keep raising yearly fees. The kicker was a 15.00 late charge charged to me for being 4 days past due on my monthly fee (even though I called the day before and explained why I would be late and they said that was okay). Manager said there is nothing she could do about it. Please see update Update:Spoke to Steve the General Manager. Issues being worked on and the fee I was charged was compensated for.

I gotta give a shoutout to Colin, the receptionist here at crunch - he's seriously awesome! He knows everything about the gym and was super patient with all my questions. Me and my partner just came in to see if this gym was a good fit for us, and he did an amazing job pointing out the amenities and giving us advice, that made us decide to join! But what really stands out is his friendly and welcoming attitude. Seriously, Colin is the best!

No one cleans . All paper towels stations are empty. when your done with a class no one can wipe anything down . we go from station to station looking and there is none . I let manager know in several occasions. Billing is a mess !! I talk to staff they say there’s nothing on there end .. mean while I’m being charged double the amount. 1st time they said it was the annual fee after being there a month I let it go , then it happens again double the amount and the monthly fee .. again they say they see nothing on their end . I called today to talk to management again and get a corporate number… they said there is none but I can call the general manager … they gave me the same number I just called . That’s why this review!! I keep trying to get some one’s attention and nothing . I’m canceling my membership!! Something tells me there’s going to be a ton of hidden fees . Read other’s reviews it’s the same .

So I went here on memorial day as a guest with someone just to see how it was and was pleasantly surprised how clean and organized the facility was. I've never had a gym membership but I've decided to make the time and effort so I went in and the process was super simple and the person at the counter, Evan, was really helpful and honest in setting up the membership and downloading the app.

Good luck doing actual strength training at this gym. Free weights section leaves a lot to be desired. Unless management is going to reject the money from equipment hogging regulars or add more barbells, racks, and certain machines there’s nothing to be fixed.

I had questions regarding the different levels of memberships. I had run into, I think his name was Colin and he was very helpful. I recognized him as I came in more often and he was always so friendly and inviting. Great job Colin!

In town for work and inquired about obtaining a day pass to lift. I was informed that they do not do day passes because someone “punched a hole in the wall”. Told me my only short term option was month to month membership. No offer of a week or anything like that. Were friendly about it, but a missed opportunity at revenue and the possibility to generate a membership in the future.

I just started here since my apartment gym lacked equipment. They do have a wide variety of equipment, surprisingly the equipment is usually occupied. I have come at different times, but it seems like it is always busy. Made the mistake of going around 5pm and it was completely packed. Most equipment had a line. It was even hard to find a spot to use dumbbells and even those were getting mostly used. The crowding is probably my only complaint. They might do well to see what equipment people are or aren’t using, and get more or less accordingly. If you have a flexible schedule you might be able to find a time where it isn’t as crowded.

Crunch Fitness is THE place to go! I was having issues with my membership that I couldn’t resolve myself, and Sarah the assistant manager there was PHENOMENAL!!! She worked tirelessly to make it work! Sarah and Sean (the general manager) took care of it! They were SO kind and helpful.. I really can’t say enough about them! Thank you Sarah and Sean!!! You have a very satisfied customer!

I have great workouts here, I like the cycle classes a lot. Please try to do a better job at stocking the paper towels in the workout area and even toilet paper in the women’s bathrooms. Every time I go there it’s an issue. Also, the equipment is often broken, and even the working ones will have broken fans, make weird noises, and have pieces of the heart monitors falling off. The monthly fee is too high and there’s always enough staff working for this to be considered acceptable.
