There is no planetarium anymore. It is converted into an office space. In case anyone is travelling far to go here. It is permanently closed as of march 2023.

Undeniably one of the most common field trip destinations during my childhood. The Manila Planetarium is renovated with new informative tools. It re-opened this year with a short walkthrough on astronomy. It give insights on how the stars guides us in navigation and agriculture. The well-lit walls and planets on the ceiling sparks a stellar experience. Admission is free for the gallery and the scheduled shows is paid for only P40. It opens at 10am and closes at 5:00pm from Tuesdays to Sundays.

AWESOME. This old museum has been rehabilitated and opened to the public just recently with improved attractions. Offers different shows on the exploration of the universe. The dome where they are shown comfortably seats around 70 people. Phones aren't allowed inside the dome but permitted in the gallery. Estimated queueing time is around 5–10 mins (went there Sat afternoon). Entrance to the exhibit gallery alone is free but asks for a minimal fee for the dome shows; you may choose to view only the gallery. + Dome shows are good + Still applicable for educational or recreational tours - Dome shows and gallery are the only attractions. They could've added more.

The movies and designs are nice. But i think theyre too strict on everything. No bags, no cellphones on some areas. Even hats are not allowed. You expect people to bring guns inside their beanies?

This is a really good place to bring your kids. Enjoy the small gallery that they have, especially it is newly renovated. Although, I think there are more contents in the old gallery than now. What I think is the stand out right now is their dome video show. It's a new experience that you are really going to appreciate and will move you in awe. I've watched shows here three times already but it never bores me. It is really a must try.

Get to know more about the outer space! The shows are very informative and affordable. The fee is cheap, and there are times that they offer the shows for free. However, this needs a little updating. Hope things can be more interactive here to spike up the interest and curiosity of young children.

I suggest for you to know the times of the dome shows because it's probably the most interesting thing the planetarium has to offer. We arrived late so we were not able to catch the dome show at 10:00, and we can't stay there until the next show which is 2:30, so we had no choice but to just roam around the planetarium. The planetarium is a good place to visit if you're interested in astronomy or if you want to learn about earth and space. The exhibits were okay. The place was dark. It is educational, and you can be finished roaming around the exhibits in around 10 minutes.

Visited last July 3 with my girlfriend, and while there were really nice backdrops for photos, it was a bit underwhelming. It took us less than 10 minutes to go through the whole exhibit. If you need a nice new profile pic, go ahead and get your pic taken at one of the backdrops there! If you're expecting to see the show they used to run, don't go because they aren't holding shows just yet. After talking to one of the guards, however, it looks like they'll be bringing back the shows in the future, but no news yet on when they'll start.

Nice place.. Great for instagram and other sns. Contains a lot of helpful information about the stars and how Filipinos used the Sky and stars as their guide in their daily lives. Visit this place during weekdays to avoid large crowd and be able to take a lot of pictures without other people in the background. When i visited this place i thought there was an entrace fee, but it was free😁 i went there on weekends. There is a different line if youre gonna watch a presentation about stars and stuff and a different one for just the attractions inside.

Planetarium Philippines -Planetarium is one of the Famous Museums in the Philippines and also it is included as the four museum in the Philippines. The Planetarium is a large museum and it has hall in the center where there is a show (pre-pandemic). The Museum has a lot of display about the heavenly bodies, it also includes the view of the Universe, the Solar System as well as our Earth, and also the different constellations. This is located near the Luneta Park (Rizal Park). Open office hours. This is now FREE, no entrance fee. (approved by PRRD) It is useful for the Students, like Educational Trip and OPEN for all. Enjoy the Planetarium Philippines It's more Fun in the Philippines.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon and, for a minimal fee, we were able to catch the 2:00 show about planets in the "Goldilocks spot." My inner child was happy. The theater was newly renovated with comfortable seats. They also offer student discounts. Beautiful experience for kids and adults too. We walked around the exhibit after the show and it was interesting. Our Planetarium has great potentials but it's commendable as it is today.

Even if the museum is small to the point that you can tour inside in just 5 minutes, this 5 minutes can be amazing through enjoying fantastic planetary design. Inside the museum there are two choices — gallery or show. Unfortunately we didn't go for the show costing 100 pesos each.

Part of the National Museums of the Philippines, the Planetarium is located at the Luneta Park in Manila. Several exhibits can found in it, such as meteorite samples found in the country and star globes and model spacecraft. The Planetarium also holds audio-visual presentations regarding astronomy and space exploration.

It was a great experience, we watched a show and toured the exhibits. You could walk through all the exhibits in less than 30min. But it is informative and good for kids. The show has an entrance fee of 30php if you are a student, 40php for seniors and pwd and 50php for adults. Phones and foods are not allowed on shows but you could took pictures on the exhibits.

It's quite a place to be at. Educational and has 3 shows to help us understand our solar system and more. Y'all should give it a try! The shows are 50 per adult / 40 per senior / 30 per student. So bring the whole family and learn some stuff.

Museum building itself is impressive. Art Deco really stands out when it wants. Admission is free, strict health and safety protocols are in place. Staff is really attentive and will really enforce the distancing and no-touch policy. The museum and its contents however are a bit lackluster. Contents mostly are from a cultural and astrological standpoint. Contents from the scientific and astronomical standpoints are pretty scarce. So if you are looking for more science-y bits, you might be disappointed. However, the contents are really well put. It will surely help pique young minds about astrology and culture. Parking is a bit far at Museum of Anthropology (behind National Museum) 1 star for Art Deco 1 star for great staff 1 star for arrangement of contents 3/5 stars

Took a tour here before with my fellow classmates. It was utterly fascinating to have witnessed such beauty. I am grateful that we've visited this at the right time since there weren't a lot of people at that moment. Although it's quite a small space yet because of the view, you would just enjoy the sight instead. Photos were taken since 18-01-20.

There is no parking in this place. One is prey to the tambays there who don’t own the road but will let you park with charge. They have a small well kept garden though which one can appreciate.

Your museum is great , Except it does'nt have Pluto

  • 2/5 Tristan A. 4 years ago on Google
Waited in line for almost an hour and all I see is a bunch of posters with long narratives on it. I expected it to be more interactive in a way that people will have the interest to learn something. It's pretty short for a museum. Sadly we don't have any artifacts or samples collected outside our atmosphere. Though, I'm looking forward for any future developments on it.
