The church has a great architecture. Some parts are old and you'll know it says something with history. My fiance had his Confirmation here. Call time was very early, and almost all came there as a requirement for wedding.

National Shrine of Saint Michael and the Archangels. I was a Blessed day. I visited here Alone, but I am Safe and Blessed. Thank You so much Lord. This Church is the wedding Church of Ferdinand Marcos and Emelda Marcos. This Church is near in the Malacanang Palace. Sometimes, some of the Officials pray here. Thank You and God Blessed to All Take Care and Keep Safe. Thank You Lord. Super Blessed

I was amazed by the architecture of the church. It is very beautiful and ornate, which helps bring the church to life. One item of note are the high ceilings and two large fans that help move air inside, making it very cool inside. It is inside the palace compound, but is accessible.

A nice little parish tucked in the San Miguel district of Manila is a stop religious history enthusiasts should include in a list. Sculptures of St. Michael and the archangels are the main attraction here. Well maintained with friendly staff.

A beautiful European baroque designed church that was built in 1603 by the Jesuits. It is also known as the Malacañang church since it located very close to the government Palace. The church is popular for officiating weddings and administering baptism and confirmation. Since it is located in a restricted area owing to security reasons, it has a relatively few parishioners but nonetheless has to usual activated of a parish church. Place is well kept and conducive to prayer and meditation.

We went here for a mass confirmation. They accommodate applicants for a donation of ~700+ PhP. The entire ceremony took our morning though, from 8am until 12 noon. The church is located inside the Malacañang Palace compound. We didn't have a hard time locating the place and going inside the compound. There was enough parking. Clean, old church.

The church is also known as San Miguel Church (it was once the site of La Fábrica de Cerveza de San Miguel) or Malacañang Church (since it is within Malacañang Palace Complex). San Miguel Church was first built in 1603 but was damaged in the earthquake in 1645. It was rebuilt in 1913. It was elevated to the rank of national shrine in 1986. On May 1, 1954 Ferdinand E. Marcos (future president) married Imelda Romualdez in that very shrine (since Manila Cathedral was being rebuilt at that time, the shrine had been chosen to serve as a pro-cathedral).

The Church was ok to me. The bell towers are similar to other Spanish era Churches. Being near to Malacañan was somewhat interesting to me alongside with Saint Jude Shrine.

A church near Malacañan Palace. Quite secure and deserted because there's not much commercial buildings in the area. Not so long aisle for weddings but still good enough especially for intimate weddings. Parking space could house more than 20 cars at the same time.

It's my gratitude to visit one of the national shrines in the Philippines...it's the church dedicated to St. Michael, The Archangel and the other Archangel.....the interior of the church is really amazing and awesome...there's a statue of St. Michael in front of the church who defeats the devil...

Very solemn and comfortable to attend during mass. It's quite cool inside even when there is no air con due to high ceilings. People usually come here for baptism. You have to be there at 7am to file for baptism. Couples who wish to secure baptismal certificate often comes here to get the document immediately after confirmation rites. A time saver!
