Very accessible to the places we needed to go to. Though rooms are somewhat outdated, it was clean and staff are very accommodating. What we can suggest, maybe you can provide guests with bedroom slippers, I'm quite sure some guests don't want to walk barefoot in their rooms. What we do love about the hotel was their breakfast buffet. It was really filling. Overall, we will book again next time if we needed to go somewhere again near their hotel.

Good location, very walkable from Rizal park, Robinsons, museums, dolomite beach and train stations. Not a very big hotel and do be careful when walking, streets kinda get scary sometimes. The room is decent, no view of the city outside. Glad there's a free buffet breakfast.

Reasonable rooms for the price in a city centre. Good furnishing with fridge and air con, service good. We have stayed many times in the past as the area suits us but noticed that there are more street people living outside than the last time we went in 2019, maybe due to the pandemic.

The staff are very helpful and polite. They assisted us in all of our needs. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, the only problem we had is just that they have a really small and very very limited capacity for parking. Their parking space only accommodates 5 cars and you have to park your car beside the road which is on the oppisite side of the hotel, if you're unfortunate.

Beside a little hiccup on the transportation from airport, this hotel is where you want to do quarantine or a vacation getaway. Robinsons right next door, everything that you want delivered, gets delivered and the front desk brings it right to your room. Great place and we’ll be back

The way they treat Filipinas with foreigners, mainly Americans, is wrong. When my American husband and I stayed here, they treated me as if I wasn't there with my husband. When we were having breakfast, a Filipina came to our table and only asked my husband if he wanted coffee. I wanted coffee, but she just left without asking me. And even greetings, my husband and I were together, but the guard just said good morning to my husband. My husband noticed that I was Invisible to them. In fact, I was the one who paid our bills there. I will never go back to that hotel.

Check in and check out was simple and quick. Staff were very friendly and efficient across the board. Good variety for breakfast buffet of decent quality. Easy to walk to Rizal Park, close to Intramuros and used grab to go to nearby areas like Chinatown. Only downfall was our room was located next to a fire exit and throughout the night people would slam the doors which vibrates through the room. Also they would vacuum next door around 6am and this could be easily heard. Good place to stay to visit tourist sites but could get interrupted rest.

The staff is excellent, especially Ruel. Ruel went above and beyond for me. This man deserves a raise. The other staff was really helpful even helping me get a grab taxi at one point. The entire hotel looked very clean and well maintained. The checkout process is a bit chaotic but manageable as long as you are not in a hurry. Just plan on it taking 15+ min to check out if they are busy. The room I stayed in was wonderful except for the bathroom and window view. The window looked out at a wall. Why the architect put the window there and not in the dining area of the room is beyond me. If I leaned out and looked to the left I could see a bit of the city. The bathroom has a tub that is small and hard to stand in because it didn't have a flat bottom and was slick. The hotel did provide one of those rubber mats with the suction cups on the bottom though. They really should just rip it out and put in the standard walk in shower area. The shower did have hot water so that was a major plus. The food for room service was a bit pricy and things looked like they where a bit too fancy. The portions for the price were small too. However the food was cook right and tasted wonderful. The included buffet breakfast was nice. I only had one bad day were the eggs were cold like just came out of the refrigerator cold. The coffee was good. Also they had someone making fresh omelets to order. If you are a smoker or vaper just be aware there is no secure smoking area outside. However there is a security guard standing outside the front doors 24/7 so this made me feel safe. Not much else to say. If you are staying in Manila and wanting a nice hotel within walking distance of the mall then this is a good place.

It was just an overnight stay for business. Checking-in took longer than usual because apparently the hotel was fully-booked at the time. The lobby was not too comfortable. We were in the hotel for an activity. Food served was not that impressive and the function room was too cold and bit dim lit. We stayed in that function room for two days. The room OK, but LOVE their bed and pillows --- so COMFY!!! However, the TV cable service is not too impressive --- too many channels that are not included in their subscription, and they didn't have a TV channel list so you don't have an idea which channel is ok and you are forced to channel surf to find something to watch. Restaurant is open til 11pm only. Tried their pizza, it was GREAT! I forgot the name of the pizza though, sorry. Location is in the middle of the busy Manila business district of Mabini-Ermita area. The road is quite narrow, so expect lot of traffic, but there are a lot of business establishments around. In general, the staff were fine.

A wonderful experience at City Garden Suites! The staff are all VERY friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and for the price, its location cannot be beat. There are soft towels, body lotion, slippers, and an AC unit (although I couldn't adjust the temperature, so I just unplugged it when it got too cold at night). My only complaint is that the walls can be thin and if there are noisy neighbors, one may be woken up to them. Please also note that the Wifi may not always be the strongest and there is a deposit fee

I exchanged several emails with Ms. Shiela. I commend her for being so nice, accommating and for answering all my questions. I originally booked for April 22-27, 2021. My purpose of stay is for my medical exam at St. Lukes Extension clinic. City Garden Suites is just 2-3mins walk to SLEC so I think it’s an ideal place to stay for that purpose. The lobby is nice and clean, the front desk officer, Karren checked me in swiftly and what’s best is she informed me that my room has been upgraded for free- From a superior room to a one-bedroom suite! Since they don’t have restaurants opened yet, you can buy food around the area, grab or food panda delivery are also options. They have a small table at the entrance where the driver can place the food and the guard will sanitize it before you take it with you. I left at 5am on the day of my medical exam so they made me a sandwich to go (ham and cheese sandwich, orange slices and hardboiled egg). Only guests are allowed to get inside the premises and they have sanitizers everywhere, the lobby guard also takes your temperature when you enter. My trip was cut short because I finished my medical exam in only One day (when I called SLEC I was told that the medical exam will take 2 days) so I informed Ms. Karren and told her of my intent to shorten my stay. She just asked what’s the reason and after a while se called back to tell me that they will refund the 2 days that I won’t be using. They are also environment friendly, they have dispensers for shampoo and body wash (no more individually packed plastic containers/tubes). Their water is also refillable. You just have to take the empty 1L glass container outside if you want it refilled (One time it took a while so I had to call the front desk and 2 bottled were delivered to me right away). The hotel is also a quarantine facility so they sanitize the area all the time, they place small tables outside each room where they can place the plate-in food for less contact with anybody (I check every 7am and the food is already there) Overall, I think City Garden Suites is a great choice especially if you are going to have a medical exam at St. Lukes or an interview at the US embassy. Thank you to the management, especially to Ms. Shiela and Ms. Karren.

I thought calling reservations would be a terror and a hard time for me because of my experience on other hotels (no mentioning of them). But Marielle of Reservations was so calm and kind and very important professional when dealing with my booking inquiry, knowing it was a last minute booking. Everything went so smooth and on plan, and Marielle voice I can tell she was serving world class, it felt she was smiling all the time and you can tell she knows her job and loves it. I tried to give her a appreciation gift because of her effort, especially her shift ended 11pm but still made the extra mile to informing me the status of my dad wherabouts till check in to the hotel, but declined politely and said the appreciation of her work was already a great gift. Please take care of Marielle, she is one of those big asset to your company. She deserves a reccognition and a good Christmas bonus for that.

Room rates are budget friendly so I was preparing myself for a budget experience. I needed only an overnight rest anyway. But I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in a classy accommodation with centralized heated bathroom water too. I sure had a relaxing stay. The complementary morning breakfast was super great too. The complete buffet selection kinda amazed me given the budget rate I paid for my stay. I must have eaten more than i paid for, haha. Sooo grateful happy City Garden Suites Manila! πŸ˜˜πŸ’žπŸ’– The lobby is spacious so it was okay that they were fully booked when I was there πŸ‘Œ. They have available free parking for guests too. The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be close to some main attractions, like the Rizal Monument or the US Embassy. There are plenty of convenient stores around, and the area feels pretty busy during the day. The check in process was smooth but a bit slow. You will be required to pay a security deposit of 1,000 PHP, which will be returned when you check out. Our room was a decent size, but we had a problem with our AC. Someone from maintenance came and fixed it after a couple of minutes. There was instant coffee and drinkable water inside the room. The bed was not the most comfortable, and the room felt a bit old but clean. It is easy to get a Grab from this location and move around Ermita.

If you have enough budget this is one of the best options you can have, if not it may look pricey. The one we availed were a room for two, it has two beds joined together. It will be convenient and okay if for lounging purposes only but if for staycation I'm not sure if this will be one of the best options. Overall, our stay here is great for it has a walking distance convenient stores, spa's, local restaurants and easy access for commute.

The city garden suites hotel is a good 3 star hotel. I have been staying there for years for my visit in Manila. The hotel has good rooms with nice old style wooden floors. The showers work well and you have everything you can expect from a 3 star hotel. The hotel is safe with an in room locker and a security guard. The hotel really improved its breakfast (more choices and more fresh fruits) and it is close to Robinson mall and some nice night life places like Cowboy Grill and Calle 5. Furthermore it is within walking distance of Rizal park and the Roxas beach boulevard.

The hotel is great overall. The staffs were very accomodating. The cleanliness of the place was great. The room is spacious enough for a medium sized family. The food buffet is also delicious. The room prices were also just right and is justified. They have parking for those who would like to bring their cars with them. The place is also child friendly. Would like to come back again some other time.

Food in the buffet breakfast was great, facilities like Gym and Pool are also well maintained. Would definitely come back ❀️

Nice hotel, very helpful staff in good location near US Embassy. Older hotel, although a bit dated - but comfortable and clean. Best hotel beds I have slept on ! Good internet and cable TV, good aircon. I have stayed here several times and will stay again.

My room is clean and tidy. Staff is very accommodating especially the male receptionist. I've been with 5-star hotels and I would say there's no difference City Garden's staff is doing a good job! The restaurant's food is amazingly cooked kudos to the cook and the staff courteously assisted me. I had a wonderful breakfast. Location is very close to St. Luke's Extension Clinic for those who are taking medical exam and close to the US Embassy. Highly recommended!

Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We arrived early for check in, and had to wait nearly 2 hours before we were able to be allocated a room. One of the reception staff (Pat) in particular, was rather rude and unhelpful towards my partner who is a Filipina. Our room was clean, but only on the third floor and at the front of the hotel, so the traffic noise was constant. Shampoo dispenser fell off the wall, only secured by double sided tape, air conditioner remote was held together with cling film. Rooms a bit tired, but clean, breakfast was very good value, with many choices, but overall rooms are overpriced.

aside from the reception that took some time, even when we had reservations weeks prior. everything's top class. there's hot/cold water for baths and hair dryer after. food's a bit so-so for my taste but nonetheless, it was great.

It was my first time to the philipines and after a couple of days of searching and narrowing down the hotels, I decided to book with city garden suites and never regretted it! I contacted them prior to arrival for decorating the room for my bf as it was his birthday, and they were very accommodating! Simple and beautiful design. The room is well lit and simple. Perfect for a couple nights stay. It was clean and spacious for 2 people. The staff of the reservation team, front desk and door man were all very helpful and friendly! I loved their hospitality and kindness. The breakfast does not have a wide spread but it's ok you can easily just walk out of the hotel and get food! 7 11 is next door and so is a bakery that sells really nice freshly baked buns for 7 pesos! Rizal Park and the museums are about 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries, grocery stores and convenience stores located around the hotel. You just need to use Google maps and you can find the locations easily! Robinson place manila is just 5 mins walk and it has alot to.offer! We didn't expect the mall to be big, but it was! The location of this hotel is really really good and will definitely be my go to! Thank you very much to all the staff that has helped me for all the arrangements. I appreciate your efforts!

This is a business hotel located in the tourist District of Manila called Ermita. It's not far from Manila bay, the US Embassy as well as Robinson's mall and a large number of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity as well as Manila doctors hospital. It has access to public transport and the prices here are relatively cheap

Booked for 2 nights and had an awesome experience. Clean room, impressed that most toiletries are on built in containers thereby minimizing waste disposal. The staff were ok especially at the restaurant personnel, I want to than them for the complimentary food. The food are impressive especially the breakfast buffet. I like that the hotel provides 2 bottles of 1.5 liters mineral on my entrance which you could ask for more, and also the free coffee and tea. It's only 15 minutes away from PICC and Intramuros and 30 minutes from NAIA. 7-11 store is just nearby for your needs. Though I used Grabs for the rides, I noticed many vacant Taxis passing by so transportation is not a problem. I will definetely come back to this hotel. Hope to see the same personnel next time.

What I like most city garden Hotel is how warm they welcome and accommodate you throughout your stay with them. The staff are all friendly and easy to approach. The rooms are clean and does not have a moldy smell. The bed is so comfortable that you don't ever wanna get up in the morning. I have friends, and they are very understanding of my special requests.

I found the hotel very comfortable, the rooms are very nice and the service was very accurate with the needs that may arise inside and outside the hotel. The bar is very comfortable and the bartender is very friendly. The gym is a bit small compared to the other facilities. The food and desserts in the restaurant are magnificent and leave a very special taste.

We booked a superior room in agoda and it was shown there that a bathtub was included, but there was no bathtub when we checked in to our room. However I called the front desk and raised our concern to them, and they accommodated our request and transfered us to the room that we were really expecting. So, good customer service on their part! The breakfast buffet is superb! Cafe Miranda has a very good and welcoming staff. They are attentive to our needs and offer foods that are to our liking. The location is very convenient as well. They have free parking but be sure to be fine with parking on the sidewalk. And a little tip, if you're the type who drinks a lot of water, then I suggest that you bring your own! We tried calling room service to request for more water and they told us to try calling Cafe Miranda instead to request for service water because they only replace the complimentary water once a day. So, we called the restaurant and they only gave us one glass of cold water. We had to go to the 7/11 nearby to buy a large bottle of water. But overall, it was still an enjoyable and a pleasant stay. We'll give it a 4/5 stars!!!!

Hotel at good location. But too much noisy if you stay in the room with balcony like room 502. The room no provide Mobile phone charging port to guest either in the bed room or living room. Housekeeping didn't sending the towels and water according the number of pax in the room. And didn't follow standard procedure to clean the guest room. Some of the front desk staffs are not friendly, and asking guest Id who stayed when enter in and out. The breakfast or the hotel is excellent. The foods is variety and delicious. The staffs is friendly and Happy to serving especially the egg section, as well as staff Kevin, providing an excellent service to the guest with good smile and warm welcoming.
