Yabu Restaurant is a fantastic place to go if you're looking for delicious Japanese food. Their signature dish is the katsu, a breaded and deep-fried cutlet of meat or seafood, and they offer a wide variety of options such as chicken, pork, and prawn katsu. The dishes are well-presented and taste amazing, making Yabu a popular spot for locals and tourists. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting ambiance, friendly staff, and excellent service. Overall, Yabu Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine!

Decided to try the Signature Oyakodon. I can't quite pinpoint it, but the flavor profile of the chicken reminds me of a Chinese dish. It tasted quite good. A little on the sweet side, but I expect it off an oyakodon. Do be careful while eating it, as the panko breadcrumbs can easily get in your windpipe while you bite into it.

Had to eat vegetables and it taste good. The hire set is presented perfectly, and tastes blend and complement to each other. My comment is that they need a bigger place since most of mall goers usually dine in here and I can see long waiting line to try the katsu set. I will really recommend this to others.

No way you can go here and not ending with a big smile. I can’t help to publicly rate this restaurant as one of the best I ever experienced. They serves one of the best Katsus I’ve tasted. Servings are big enough. The staff were so nice as well. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I am delighted that we tried Yabu for lunch. I'm giving it a two thumbs up!

This was our second time dining at Yabu. Food is delicious as always. We love their Miso soup and their Gyudon. Their cabbage and rice are refillable. Overall experience is great.

We were the first customers for the day so we got served immediately. It can be packed during lunchtime. Delicious Katsu as always, and staff are very attentive. Good experience overall. :)

One of the promising Japanese restaurants that I’ve tried. In usual Filipino restaurants, we have unli rice. Here, if you want to have healthy delights with unli options, this is a must-go. Comes with refillable brown rice/white rice, fruits (watermelon & pineapple) and miso soup (one of the best) with their main dish of your choice as part of the set. Up to you how would you like to customize your meal, but this alone can make your tummy full. Not to mention their salad dressing and sauce in sesame seed are very delicious and satisfying. A must-try experience 💯

First time to eat here. Ordered Chicken katsu set. A bit pricey, almost same price for unlimited samgyeop but it was worth it actually. The meat is delicious and soft to chew. Their seaweed soup is also delicious. I dont like the sauce for the meat. It was sauce + ground sesame. The sauce is very salty to my taste. I did not even dip into it. Unlimited side dishes - fruits, rice, soup, cabbage.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yabu Restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight! From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant until the last bite of my meal, I was captivated by the impeccable service, the authentic ambiance, and, most importantly, the exquisite Japanese cuisine that graced my taste buds. Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the service at Yabu was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring their guests' satisfaction. They went above and beyond to accommodate dietary preferences and provide recommendations, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my visit.

Finally got to try.Heard so much about this place ever since it opened, they’ve been creating a buzz in Metro Manila's dining scene. Yabu House of Katsu serves one of the best Katsus I’ve tasted. The pork is soft and tender indeed. Servings are big enough. The staff were so nice as well. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I am delighted that we tried Yabu for the first time !!!

Food was under expectation. The appetizer was served before the main meal. Need to improve on customer service. No leaving thanks as they do to all the customers that left before me. Didn't even give me the official receipt. Just the pos receipt.

I ordered Pork Tonkatsu and it was great. Unlimited soup, fruits, rice and cabbage. The food was delicious and the service was excellent for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Yabu Japanese Cuisine to anyone looking for a great Japanese meal in Ermita, Manila.

Ordered 4 Rosu sets, 3 orders were cooked perfectly but the last order wasn't so great it was a tad pink at the middle, we called the Manager Mica to ask if they can change the order but she told us that the meat was cooked but they can cook it well done instead, we agreed but once we received it seems like nothing happened. Food is always great but I think the customer service is meh.

I recommend mozzarella stick for appetizer, thin coated and very chewe. "Tonkatsu" they focus on the meat not on the breadcrumb crust. And that is what I love about it. Also they have Unlimited side dish, fruits and authentic miso soup. The price is just right for it's taste 😋. I didn't took much of the photo cause I was very hungry that time. Main course will be served in about 15- 20mins.

I had Yabu after x years! They have good range of choices. One of the things I like about Yabu is the unlimited cabbage! But of course the main star of their menu are the crispy yummy katsu!

Definitely still one of my favorite places to eat! Really love the unli cabbage, fruits and miso soup. Food rating 5 ⭐ - Kastu Tanggap 5 ⭐ - Mozzarella Sticks 4.5 ⭐ - signature Oyakudon 4 ⭐ - Pork Katsu 4.5 ⭐ - Seafood Delux meal Main reason for the 4 ⭐ ratings because service was on the slow end and at the same time I asked if it was possible to mix the bottomless drinks and they said no, even though all drinks were of the same price.

It always feel like we're eating in an all-you-can-eat restaurant whenever we're at Yabu since they refill miso soup, cabbage and drinks. Everything is delicious even their condiments. I love their Himalayan salt. Also, their staff are attentive. And since people frequent the restaurant it gets a bit cramped so, the tables should be distantly spaced. But other than that their food is always tasty. We'll always come back. Highly recommended.

People are very kind and attentive to customers. The dish is really good. We tried their karaage and it was very delicious and the serving is huge. It's worth your money. We can't even finish it. Of course the classic dish as well. You get unlimited side dishes so enjoy!

It was our first time eating at Yabu so me and my brother were confused at the menu. There were no pictures and we were not familiar with the terms. Our server, Kuya Miko, was kind enough to explain everything to us. He explained all the items on the menu and even took out their old menu that contained the pictures so we'll have an idea how the food looks like. Placing the order was another hurdle. It's kinda like when you place an order at Ramen Nagi but more confusing because they only made use of letters. So if you're a first timer, you'd really get confused. Again, Kuya Miko came to the rescue and explained it to us while taking our orders simultaneously. Once our orders were placed, Kuya Miko went the extra mile and let us experience grinding the sesame seeds to make our own katsu sauce. He said that we really didn't have to since our orders were sauce-based. But since it's our first time at Yabu, we have to experience it. And I'm glad he did. 😊 The food was amazing! I had the menchi curry and it was really delicious! It was the best curry I've tasted so far. Each order comes with the main dish, miso soup, shredded cabbage and fruits. I was never a fan of miso soup after an unpleasant experience at Tokyo Tokyo. But the miso soup in Yabu was heavenly. It was so, so, so good! The shredded cabbage was really delicious after adding the white sauce (i forgot what it's called! 🤣). And the fruits were really fresh. One serving was so filling I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. 😁 On top of that, the sides and the rice are all unlimited. You can have as many refills as you can. I'm very satisfied with my first dining experience at Yabu. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I am so recommending this place. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it. You won't regret eating here. But make sure you're really hungry when you come here so you'll be able to finish everything. 😁
