👍 Tasty Dumplings is always reliable. Affordable, good and satisfying. The restaurant is a bit small and crammed, and the service can also falter during peak hours; but I'd still recommend the place and try their pork chop and dumplings. About one of the best places to be #WhenInBinondo. The food is phenomenal. I make it a point to take home silver roll bread buns with Hongma pork despite my long travel afterwards to share with the family. The service is also not too bad. They've gotten used to the many celebrity visitors so they know how to handle customers pretty well without being snubby and cold. The atmosphere is cramped though and that's how you know you're in an authentic Chinese restaurant, I think--focused on the flavor and less on the trappings of a 'striking ambience'. Will be coming back for more of course.

Delicious Pork Chop And Dumplings! Tucked in a quiet street in Binondo is this hidden gem specializing in Pork Chop And Dumplings. The dining area is small and can be a bit of a squeeze when crowded. The staff who assisted us was very nice but the others a bit rude. The food to be honest although tasty (no pun intended) is just average but worth to try! This restaurant can definitely be improved both with service, dining area and food. But is good enough as part of your Binondo food tour experience!

My expectations were a bit heightened, especially when the name of the restaurant is Tasty Dumplings. Steamed dumpling was just OK — flavorful filing, but the dough was too thick for my liking. You can also order a fried version. The famous fried pork chop rice was humongous! It occupied the entire plate. The meat and breading were both well seasoned. Order came with a side of sautéed veggies and a cup of rice. Dalandan juice was just OK, tasted like artificial powdered drink. Seating was limited. Staff were polite and quick on their feet.

At the day of Chinese New Year, me and my partner stroll around the binondo and we found this humble chinese restaurant in the street we are heading to. We asked the food server of their 2 best selling and recommended pork chop rice and dumpling (i chose steamed) Try this for yourself and hope that you'll like it too! 🥟🥠🍖

The food here is very good! Not your ordinary fast food Chinese restaurant. Must try ang Pork Chop rice nila atsaka Hongma with Silver Roll Bread!!! Sarap kumain talaga dito!!! Whew!!! Mahirap lang mag park sa mga side streets kaya plan your dining here.

Went here to taste some of their dishes... porkchop with rice did not dissappoint...little bit disappointed with the noodles with soup as soup was bland same with the noodles...the tossed noodles fiared better as it has some sauce... we liked the fried dimsum and siopao

One of the oldest authentic Chinese restaurant in Binondo. Located just beside the Miraculous Binondo church. I highly recommend their crispy pork chop. Though the place is very old and small like a typical restaurant during the 80's. Cleanliness i will rate it very good.

Just describing the food. Pork shop size its big as size of a male palm. Dumplings is a bit chewy and can order with half steam oland half fried. Too thick for a porkchop to visualize just triple or 4 pcs of bacon. Taste: 6 out 10. Soup: 5 out 10 Popular for the tourists. Staffs are friendly and attentive.

Calling the attention of tasty condesa.. I ordered 3 porkchop rice for delivery. One order has no porkchop. Only the rice, vegetables and their sauces. Called the branch to inform them but unfortunately they keep on insisting that it has. I told them to check their cctv to check. They asked me to go there and bring the said pack (without the meat ). And they will put the meat. How funny. Are you kidding me?

Great kuchay dumplings! Masarap na ung filling, na-elevate pa lalo nung dipping sauce nya. Masarap din ung neef noodles na na-order namin. For us, affordable naman ung prices for the quality you'll get. Looks like their porkchop is the best-seller but unfortunately, we weren't able to try it. Would love to visit them again soon!

We tried their kuchay dumplings and siopao here. It was very meaty, and the bun and wrapper are soft and not to soggy. Very tasty indeed! I loved their dipping and spicy sauce! Prices are affordable. They honor PWD and senior citizen discount. Service was fast, but some of the staff are rude. The restaurant itself was a bit dirty and unorganized. If you have a car, better park it close to Binondo Church and walk to their restaurant. I look forward in trying their best selling porkchop next time I visit Chinatown.

Dumplings are your typical kuchay dumplings are pretty plump. But the pork and silver bread are life-changing! You can't find those in a lot of chinese resto so it was worth the trip from cubao!

Always the best to dine if you're after authentic Chinese Cuisine. They're an old school Chinese restaurant serving the best dishes.

Even after decades, it's still one of the best dumplings and Porkchop placed in Manila. Unfortunately, branches are limited and they close early but still, you'll surely enjoy. Try out their Cabbage and hongma as well. The price is not that high either.

Went here because of Tiktok vids, the foods were served hot. Porkchop is the best I've tasted, the place is a bit small to accommodate huge customers nonetheless all the food we ate are superb.

I have missed this restaurant. It is one of my favourite places to eat. I particularly order pork chop rice. This pork chop is a monster. It is as big as the plate itself.

The beef soup was really tasty and flavorful. The dumplings were good as well, but they weren't served hot.

  • 4/5 Teena C. 11 months ago on Google
When we went to eat here, there was a power outage, but to my amazement, they continued to cook even though there was no electricity, and the restaurant was extremely warm on the inside; after all, if it was already hot at the tables for the customers, how much hotter could it get in the kitchen? In light of this, the culinary staff deserves praise for continuing to work despite the circumstances. We decided to get one of their famous pork chops, and the portion was shockingly large. This is well worth every single penny!

The dishes lived up to our expectations! We ordered Hongma with the Silver Roll bread, both were the melt-in-your-mouth kind, the beef noodle was forgettable. Hongma was succulent and even the bread you can enjoy it on its own. It has a crispy layer soft and fluffy inside. Overall a memorable dining experience and wish we had more space to order more!

Porkchop Rice (P195.00) Rating: 7/10 Meat looked huge but was in fact very thin and a little bland. Sauce was rather sweet which I didn't like; umay factor for me. I'm just glad they served soup for free. For reference, I'm not a fan of Yabu either so take this comment with a grain of salt. Service: 10/10 Staff was efficient, friendly and considerate. They didn't mind us eating dumplings and machang that we bought somewhere else. Food was served within 5 mins, but I'm not sure if that's because we got there at 4PM before customers flock to the area. Ambience: 10/10 Place seemed clean which is rare for restos in Binondo.

You can find this place just beside Binondo church. Parking is quite difficult so I suggest you park somewhere else and just walk. The food is really tasty. The pork chop is really a must-try! The wintermelon juice has a nostalgic taste, brings back childhood memories. They also accept GCash.

  • 5/5 ARBN 9 months ago on Google
This place remains a top-quality nostalgic experience for many Chinese-Filipinos who grew up in or frequented Binondo. Definitely one of the top 5 iconic places that represent Binondo cuisine. I suggest getting the pork chop tossed noodles, and pair the meal with either a wintermelon drink or soy milk. If you have the space for it, do have a silver roll or fried dumplings to share, on the side. You won’t regret it.

We just happened to be at Binondo church and on our way someplace else when we noticed this place. The inside has photos of artists who supposedly had eaten at the place. Most customers were chinese so plus points for looking authentic. We only tried the porkchop and hand tossed pasta. It was immediately served alongside a clear hot soup. The food portions are very generous and for only 210 it was a good buy! The hand tossed pasta have a special sauce or so the server said. You've got to mix it well as the sauce was at the bottom of the plate. I found it delicious especially with the caramelized onions to which my friends didn't particularly like. The porkchops were humongous! It was a Chinese styled breaded porkchop I love it, it was tender and the breading isn't too thick. The unassuming soup was a great addition as palate cleanser and it did taste good. I advise you to add the homemade chili/pepper sauce on porkchop too lessen the "umay". Don't worry its not too spicy but tasted like green chili peppers with a little bit of dill to give you a spicy/minty veggie taste. Unrelated but Anyways after this place we all just felt sleepy hahaha

Great dumplings. Some rice meal combos do not work, taste-wise. Go for ala carte dumpling orders. The place is a bit cramped, and staff can learn a bit more about hospitality. We came in a few mins after opening, and later again during lunch - same smile-less welcome from the staff.
