We
booked
this
hotel
via
Booking,
where
the
reviews
unfortunately
are
vastly
different
from
the
ones
here...
We
arrived
at
the
reception
and
both
ceiling
lights
were
flickering
broken.
We
had
booked
a
room
for
two
people,
but
since
they
were
out
of
double
rooms
somehow,
we
got
a
family
room
(for
four).
After
arriving
at
our
room
one
of
the
first
things
we
see
is
a
huge
cockroach
crawling
to
the
bathroom
and
a
musky,
lightly
stinky
odour.
Additionally,
some
of
the
door
frames
had
partially
come
off
at
the
bottom.
In
general,
it
looked
poorly
maintained.
If
that
wasn't
enough,
the
room
had
virtually
no
sound
insulation,
so
we
were
constantly
disturbed
by
the
family
next
to
us
yelling
in
a
foreign
language
and
emptying
their
(presumably)
bugspray
in
a
desperate
attempt
to
fight
off
their
own
cockroach(es).
The
only
saving
grace
was
that
the
reception
lady
was
kind
of
nice
and
that
the
mattresses
and
pillows
seemed
to
be
new
and
without
bedbugs.
P.S.
There
was
an
aircon
in
our
room
and
you
will
want
to
use
it,
cause
our
room
was
situated
next
to
two
other
aircon
exhausts
and
also
had
a
fancy
mini
fridge
(for
some
reason),
turning
the
place
into
a
sauna.
We
decided
not
to,
since
seeing
the
state
of
the
hotel
we
did
not
trust
the
aircon
filters
to
be
properly
cleaned.
