    Warning!! - Nice staff, nice car but they make up the mileage once you are back. They have charged me for 1500km of driving and I only had the car for 9 hours! That's an average speed of 167km/h. I hadn't left Valencia and did so few KM's that the fuel needle hadn't moved. An 80EUR hire when I booked it was 550EUR when the invoice came through. Snakes. I now start the tedious and expensive argument to get my money back. Many hours later.... they have now charged me two lots of fuel for one car... I can see a bit of a theme here... every time I challenge them they come back with a clever answer about something I already agree with them about but never answering my question. This is still, the most expensive 30km I have ever travelled. I'll keep this review updated with my progress.

    One star because they didn’t accept Ukrainian credit cards for the deposit. I booked a cool new car BMW 5 series, but unfortunately, I had to spend over 2 hours at the counter first trying to get the car and then explaining to the rentalcars (intermediate where I bought my package) that I needed a full refund. The manager at the counter was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, their system refused both of my credit cards which are top levels MasterCard gold and world elite. I tested them with an ATM on the opposite side of the corridor, and all was OK. What a shame to the company, which shows no trust in Ukrainian banks working perfectly during such difficult times.

    On 01/03/23 I had a car rental paid for. When I came to the reception, none of my bank cards worked at the moment of paying the deposit, the administrator girl said that these were problems with my cards. In fact, there were no problems with my cards, after 15 minutes I booked a car with another company without any problems. The receptionist said they would cancel my booking and refund my money. To date, I have not received my money back. There is no answer to my letters. This is just cheating and robbing people. Gotta go to the police and court

    Good pick up service but beware after signing off the return damage claim emails have been received. I will not use SIXT again, because I didn't pay for extra cover they take your deposit after you have signed the car back and all is ok. But a while later an email for damage was received but no proof it happened before, during or after rental. Just another way to generate income.

    + nice car and staff + car rental right from the airport and drop of at other airport is amazing, but competitors also offer that - car already expensive with sixt - They really sell you overpriced insurance and don’t won’t you go Without - I got a parking fine and sixt charged me 39 EUR just for a so called ‘customer identification service’. So basically they look into their excel sheets to see who was the driver at that day. The fine still comes on top of that. - when you don’t have the exact same physical credit card you paid in advance with they, or you paid with a virtual card in advance, you are asked to pay again and they reimburse the previous payment. That takes 5-10 days, which for me 1300£ Was heavy. All in all, for me sixt is too much stress and also it feels like a rip off.

    Even though their offer says there are no hidden costs, the agent managed to "upgrade" our insurance package, which we ordered already at max protection and zero own liability, so that our daily rate increased with 50%. So if you go there, be very very careful!

    Zero problems despite not taking the full insurance. Friendly staff that was still there at midnight. The car park is conveniently located right next to the terminal. Got a nice looking car with a powerful but frugal diesel engine. Was great to drive and came with android auto but was lacking a reversing camera and keyless access. At Sixt Valencia I'd happily rent cars again.

    Excellent and friendly support picking up the car. Nice to have one way drop off available so I could drive from Valencia to Barcelona enjoying so many sites along the way, including a Templar Castle!

    The service was amazing. I was handled the car I dreamed of because of the SIXT service. It was brand new and very clean. Will definitely use this company again. The only thing: it wasn't so easy to find the desk office when we arrived at the airport. It was at the parking place, not at the airport offices as expected. Thank you!

    Despite the flight arriving at midnight (2 hours + late), our greeting at the (easily found) SIXT desk was both friendly and helpful. The usual options were presented but thankfully in a not hard sell manner. The car was exactly as requested and although a few scratches (which had been well documented) was both clean, efficient and gave us no problems. There was someone on hand for the car return and this was also helpful and efficient. A good company to deal with (maybe mid/top end price - but you get a good trouble free service) - thank you.

    Highly recommend to use sixt in Valencia! Just remember to take full insurance and you will be easily upgraded and face zero problems when handing over the car. Very nice and helpful staff!

    Scammers! They will charge you for something they didn't say. You arrange one price, both sides agree on that, you sign the contract. After you give the car back and go out of the country they charge you a lot more than the agreement was. Really bad business handling by well known name like sixt. Edit: they returned money which wasn't shown as costs at making deal of the last prices for rent. But still watch out so they don't do the same for you with charging extra hidden costs

    The main reception staff by the desk was great. Thank you Alejandro for the free upgrade of vehicle model. He was very accommodating and friendly. The car he gave us was newish and very good interface. We were satisfied with the car. But on return they said we had a small scratch by the right front wheel bumper. The reception where you collect the vehicle is quite poorly lit so any small damage you wont be able to see. Retrospectively we should have taken pictures of the car as soon as we got out of the parking lot but there is no where to do this so we just carried on driving. And there is no way on earth we caused the scratch as we had a very secure spacious parking lot where we stayed.

    The staff were lovely - Belen was very helpful and her suggestions turned out to be the best for our trip where we used our car (brand new) every day. Excellent car, great service, no hidden surprises or charges.

    awful service! In 2 weeks after returning the car with full tank we had been charged extra 90 euro for fuel. We sent a request for explanation and after a month of waiting they replayed in 2 sentence "As we can see in your rental agremeent, the first car was not full. This is the reason why we proceed to do the charges you mencioned." It's absurd! We came to drop off office at Valencia airport. Then we asked the manager about fulling policy, she explained that we would be charged and advised to use the closest petrol station at "Carrer dels Sants Just i Pastor, 49, 46940 Manises, Valencia, Spain". We followed her advice, refueled to a full tank and came back. The lady manager checked it out and said that it is okay now!! We signed in papers and left. And now you are saying that it was not full!! It's absurd! It just means that we can't believe to any of your manager any more!

    Excellent. This was my sixth rental with SIXT in a year. The vehicles are in top shape, the staff is super friendly and professional. I land go to the SIXT office at the airport. in 15 minutes I am in my preferred car.

    I had checked Google reviews for car rentals and thought perhaps Sixt had bought all those 5 star reviews. I don't think so anymore, they are really great. Good price, good service, everything goes fast and smooth. Just perfect

    Very unprofessional. Dropped car on last Thursday and still waiting final invoice after one week. On top, found additional charges to my credit card, not reported to me. Contacted company and no feedback after 24 hours... very poor services. Lost a client!

    The invoice at the end was not correct. They charged for fuel despite that the car was filled (indicator didn’t show maximum but must be defect at indicator, strange that second car we were renting had the same issue). Furthermore, the car was only 5/8 upon pick-up. I made a complaint, let’s see how fast they correct it. Furthermore, at pickup of the car the lady was very pushy for additional insurances. I know this is the way to increase the profit, but when it’s clear the customer doesn’t want it one should not keep on pushing that it’s very likely to have a flat tyre and that then high costs are for the customer. Finally, the car was very clean inside and outside. However, having already considerable damage at the outside.

    Before booking the car I read the reviews of the Valencia's Airport rentacars ... and I was ready for the worst. Actually the service was good. Excellent reception at retourning the car: I was late due to a big accident on the highway, but they were very gentle and fast and didn't charge me any extra in despite I was 1 hour late!

    It is a very friendly and professional service from Manuell by Sixt Valencia airport. He is a very exact and have a knowhow which we were very thankful. The car was very new and comfortable. After 11 days of journy we could bring back our car without any complication. The Company should be pride of you guys.thank you all for the best Service which i have seen for the first time in valencia .

    Poor Service - unfriendly and unmotivated staff. damaged car with multiple new damages not documented. no service and check at return - staff asked us to wait for 20 min for a check or simply drop of the key.

    Car was damaged all over, had to pay extra for glass protection and tyres for full insurrance. My experiences with Sixt Nordics were much better.

    I had a wonderful experience with SIXT. I was in a predicament and their help was invaluable. Such nice, friendly and helpful people. Fast and efficient service and always with a smile. They can't do enough to help you. Brilliant people. As you can guess, I will definitely use their services again.
